"The Hows Of Us" - 𝑨 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒆 - Review

I love the movie title and I like the lead characters, I'm a huge fan of their romantic movies. I don't get to see much of Filipino movies but when I saw this movie on my movie downloading site, I couldn't just pass by without downloading it. So it wasn't recommended, just me downloading it for the love of it's title and lead characters.

I didn't regret having it downloaded obviously, it's a reason I'm here about to write a review on it. The story plot was unexpected and I like that they didn't make me predict what would happen as with a few other Filipino movies I've seen would do.

"The Hows Of Us" is a movie about Love, misunderstanding, breakups and setting things right. I usually do not like when love movies begin with a marriage as I feel those sparks that birth love won't be acted out in the movie anymore but this one was different. It started with a marriage but they began to love over again after a misunderstanding... That was refreshing to see.

The movie is about a couple who had their lives planned even down to where they'd have their TV stand, the table where they could have their legs on and they shared the house ownership equally too. All they did was with the hope that they'll live together forever as their aunt who died had made them promise her to be together for a lifetime.

Even I thought everything was going too smoothly with their plans until things began to fall apart when the guy could no longer provide for their needs and the lady is made to miss an important exam that could have changed her life. They didn't get a divorce but they split up to live separately.

Where did it go wrong? How would they fix it? How do they go back to the way things were? That is what the movie is mainly about.

While it would have been amazing to know what really happened that they split up at the moment everything they worked together for were crashing down, I think it was a different experience for me when they decided to make things clear towards the end of the movie and it turned out to be just a simple misunderstanding from both sides.

The lead characters have always been amazing actors, this movie isn't any different with how they show their chemistry. They are always in a love Filipino movie together so I doubt I'll ever expect something more from them, after all they are doing really great in the love department already.

I like the role of some of the supporting characters on this one, they made the misunderstanding less hurtful for the couple and I like the adventure the movie took me on in Amsterdam. I think they did show too much of Amsterdam, taking us away from our main focus of the movie but I still love it that way as I got to explore from their eyes and views.

It's a short movie and I think it is worthwhile for anyone who'd love to see a love movie with a refreshing storyline as this one is between a married couple. One thing with Filipino movies, most of them can be with families, this one is no different. There's comedy to keep everyone laughing and interesting views to keep you in awe.

I enjoyed my time on the movie and I'll recommend you see it if you're a Filipino movie lover but yet to see it. Let Kathryn and Daniel show you once again, what they are good at showing on screen... Love chemistry, comedy and a few lessons to share especially from their conversations.

I'll rate the movie a 8/10, let me know what you think about my review and if you've seen the movie before. Looking forward to your comments.
