I want to believe I'm not the only one who had seen a series a few years back but decides to see it again scene by scene. I was searching for new series to download and this old series came up in recommendations, I downloaded while trying to remember some scenes from it.
I saw it a long time ago with my family on a CD player, it was both exciting and very much different to how I saw it again on my mobile device. I remember giving up a lot of my sleep to see the series only for me to start craving for it again recently, really crazy!
This series has a rare storyline and reminds so much of another I saw some time back "Are You Human?". Both series are about the impossible but really fascinating thought that would keep viewers in excitement.
"I Am Not A Robot" is a 16 episodes long rom-com Korean series that was released in 2017. The series is about a wealth young man who had to live away from humans because of his human allergy but his life changes dramatically when he meets with a lady who is acting like a robot for her ex.
The series is also about a Santa Maria Team that creates robots with the mind of providing loyal companion for humans using robots. They succeeded in creating one with the face of the leader's ex but due to an issue, they had to send a human instead of the robot when it was time to run test on it.
It also shows the life of a young lady who invents things even with an IQ of 94, she thinks and create things with her heart instead of her head. Her aim was to win in a big company skill support system but it turns out she is pretending to be a robot for the owner of the company who doesn't seem to be interested in the company's plan to support young dreams.

Imagine a human acting like a robot, imagine a human believing a human to be a robot, and imagine how hurtful it was when the truth came out.
The series is comedy packed starting right from when the human robot meets her master in his house for the first time. I still can't get that scene out of my head, so hilarious. The Santa Maria team is also a group of Comedian especially the English speaking guy and his favourite among them, I find their roles in the series really funny and perfect!
The main characters win my 10/10 rating in their character play.
When I first saw the series, I honestly didn't think it would be same person that starred both the human and the robot role but it turned out so. I just don't know why I thought it was acted by different persons. That shows how well our female lead played in this series.
Starring as a human and as a robot... The acting can be really different showing her acting skill is top notch.
How the male lead acted towards having a robot he could spend time with instead of humans without the knowledge that he was actually having all the physical touches with a human, that fascinated me a lot. I think the series got a little predictable for me there.
I was certain he would realize he had such an allergy because he had hatred for some people who betrayed him as such allergy do not exist.
Personal thoughts on "I Am Not A Robot"
I have so many positive thought about this series and it's all thanks to the amazing roles of each character especially the leads. I like how unpredictable it got at the point where viewers are left to wonder what would happen when the rich guy finds out he had been deceived to believe a human to be a robot.
I love the romantic part of the series very much... A human falling in love with a robot. Well, the robot, I mean, the human loved him too and so the scenes were more exciting as we watch our human robot try to show her robot self even when she wants to be a human.
The storyline, the setting, the comedy, the romance and most importantly, the ending were all on point and I'll recommend this series to anyone. It's one to see for some breath taking hehe.
