Hoy quiero hablarles de una nueva serie que he visto recientemente, se trata de Man vs Bee, una serie de este año protagonizada por Rowan Atkinson, mejor conocido por interpretar a Mr. Bean, buscando algo nuevo para ver me conseguí con esta serie y me llamó mucho la atención, nunca fui fan de Mr. Bean pero esta me pareció un poco más seria y quise darle una oportunidad, aquí les contaré mi opinión sobre esta serie y su vez les resumiré un poco lo que ocurre en ella, así que, antes de comenzar les advierto que este post contiene spoilers, espero que les guste, sin más, ¡comencemos!
Today I want to talk to you about a new series that I've seen recently, it's Man vs Bee, a series this year starring Rowan Atkinson, best known for playing Mr. Bean, looking for something new to watch, I found this series and it caught my attention, I was never a fan of Mr. Bean but this one seemed a little more serious and I wanted to give it a chance, here I will tell you my opinion about this series and in turn I will summarize a little what happens in it, so, before starting I warn you that this post contains spoilers, I hope you like it, without further ado, ¡let's start!
La serie es del año 2022, original de la plataforma Netflix y recién se estrenó el 24 de junio, contiene 9 capítulos de corta duración, entre 8 y 12 minutos cada uno con un total de 1 hora 39 minutos de contenido, casi lo que dura una película, la serie es del género comedia física y se desenvuelve en un solo lugar que es donde ocurren todos los eventos.

La serie inicia en una corte donde Trevor Bingley (Rowan Atkinson) está siendo juzgado pero aún no sabemos por qué, sin embargo, al defenderse dice “es que había una abeja” y allí comenzamos la travesía que lo lleva hasta este punto.
Trevor estaba en busca de trabajo cuando llega a una casa muy lujosa, la dueña, Nina lo confunde con un cuidador de casas de una compañía ya que esperaba a uno de estos para que cuidara su casa puesto que se iba de viaje con su esposo, Trevor, quien estaba desempleado y desesperado aprovecha esta confusión y toma el empleo sin saber en lo que se estaba metiendo, los dueños, unos millonarios aficionados por las artes le hacen un pequeño resumen de todo lo que debe hacer, todo el uso y cuidado de la casa la cual está completamente llena de tecnología muy avanzada, además le dejan un manual con todas las instrucciones sobre la casa y que hacer en ciertos casos, “todo está en el manual” y además le dejan a cargo un perrito llamado Pastelito que también requiere de ciertos cuidados especiales como en su alimentación y apenas se queda solo comienza toda la aventura.
Toda la desgracia de Trevor comienza con la aparición de una abeja que conforme transcurren los capítulos esta se vuelve más y más molesta, Trevor intenta espantarla y además de que no logró deshacerse de ella rompió una figura de arte que estaba en una mesa, desesperado intenta repararla pero es molestado por la abeja, mientras más intentaba deshacerse de la abeja esta más lo enloquecía, en un descuido mientras cocinaba incendió el manual de la casa, lo que quiere decir que ahora deberá resolverlo todo por su cuenta, pues, avisar esto a los dueños de la casa no era una opción para el, todo esto lo llevó a tomar acciones desesperadas, comienza colocándole una “trampa”, un pan con mantequilla de maní dentro del microondas para atraerla, la abeja llega y la encierra allí, sin intenciones de matar al animal lleva el microondas hasta el jardín para liberarla y una vez que se encuentra afuera vuelve al interior de la casa ¡que locura! Y debido a eso Trevor se queda afuera y en sus intentos desesperados por entrar a la casa nuevamente lo logra pero no sin antes pasar por varias desgracias, el perro le muerde el trasero, su rostro cae sobre caca del perro, es decir, ese día la suerte no estaba de su lado.
The series begins in a court where Trevor Bingley (Rowan Atkinson) is being tried but we still don't know why, however, when defending himself he says "there was a bee" and there we begin the journey that leads him to this point.
Trevor was looking for work when he arrives at a very luxurious house, the owner, Nina, confuses him with a house sitter from a company since she was waiting for one of these to take care of her house since she was going on a trip with her husband, Trevor, who was unemployed and desperate, takes advantage of this confusion and takes the job without knowing what he was getting into. The owners, some millionaires who are fond of the arts, give him a brief summary of everything he must do, all the use and care of the house which is completely full of very advanced technology, they also leave you a manual with all the instructions about the house and what to do in certain cases, "everything is in the manual" and they also leave you in charge of a puppy called **Pastelito ** which also requires certain special care such as in its diet and as soon as it is left alone, the whole adventure begins.
All of Trevor's misfortune begins with the appearance of a bee that becomes more and more annoying as the chapters go by, Trevor tries to scare her away and besides not getting rid of her he broke an art figure that was on a table, he desperately tries to repair it but he is bothered by the bee, the more he tried to get rid of the bee, the more it drove him crazy, in an oversight while cooking he set fire to the house manual, which means that now he will have to solve everything on his own, well, tell this to the owners of the house was not an option for him, all this led him to take desperate actions, he begins by placing a "trap", a bread with peanut butter inside the microwave to attract it, the bee arrives and locks it there, without intentions After killing the animal, he takes the microwave to the garden to free it and once it is outside, it returns inside the house. What madness! And because of that Trevor stays outside and in his desperate attempts to enter the house again he succeeds but not before going through several misfortunes, the dog bites his butt, his face falls on dog poop, that is, that day luck was not on his side.
Si creen que todo estaba mal, pues déjenme decirles que se pone peor, durante la persecución a la abeja Trevor sigue haciendo daños a la casa, arruinando parte de las obras de arte entre otros objetos, en este punto comienza a notarse la obsesión con atrapar a la abeja pero todos sus intentos hasta ahora han sido fallidos, en una medida desesperada logra atrapar a la abeja en una especie de cuarto donde rocía una gran cantidad de aerosoles dañinos para los animales sin darse cuenta que el perro, Pastelito, había quedado allí dentro, sufriendo este las mayores consecuencias, a estas alturas los dueños no confiaban en el del todo, por lo que lo llamaban en ocasiones y su extraño comportamiento hacia que dudaran más de él, hasta acá los dueños de la casa parecen ser personas muy razonables, no obstante, cuando piden ver a Pastelito se terminan de convencer de que hay algo raro pasando en su casa.
Trevor es un hombre divorciado y con una hija adolescente con la cual no ha pasado mucho tiempo por su búsqueda de empleo, deseaba mucho poder estar con ella pero a su vez necesitaba este empleo para poder llevarla de vacaciones, así que no podía permitir que los dueños de la casa descubrieran todo lo que estaba sucediendo allí, Trevor toma uno de los autos costosos de la cochera y sale en busca de ayuda para Pastelito, de camino se da cuenta de que la abeja estaba en el auto y distraído con ella pierde el control y daña parte del auto, sin embargo, logra llegar con el veterinario y salvar a Pastelito, al llegar de nuevo a casa intenta atrapar nuevamente a la abeja y sin pensarlo terminó haciéndole daños graves al auto, allí recapacita y se da cuenta de que perdió por completo la cabeza.
Llega un policía a la casa para informar que en el vecindario habían unos delincuentes y que si veía algo sospechoso avisara a la policía, esa misma noche Trevor se fue a dormir pero no sin antes hablar con su hija por teléfono, mientras eso pasa llegan los delincuentes a la casa y desactivas todas las alarmas y sistemas de seguridad logrando así acceder a la casa, tenían una lista de todo lo que debían llevarse buscando especialmente las obras de arte que presuntamente eran muy costosas y mientras buscaban sale Trevor de su habitación siguiendo a la abeja nuevamente, los delincuentes rápidamente se ocultan detrás de un sofá mientras que Trevor comienza a gritar cosas como “Puedo oírte, se dónde estás, te atraparé y voy a matarte” los delincuentes pensaban que se trataba de ellos y tratando de escabullirse quedan atrapados en una habitación que tenía un seguro especial por fuera, amanecen allí y la mañana siguiente llega la policía preguntando si había visto a los delincuentes a lo que él responde que no, “todo está bien” mientras que en el fondo se ve a los delincuentes tratando de salir de la habitación, allí son atrapados y llevados a la cárcel, Trevor es interrogado pero era evidente que no tenía ni idea de que esos hombres estaban allí.
Continua la persecución a la abeja pero y para este punto ahora si Trevor había perdido la cabeza, completamente desesperado elaboró una bomba casera con la que tampoco tuvo éxito, finalmente llegan los dueños de la casa sin previo aviso y se encuentran con un completo desastre pero no solo eso, al entrar a la casa ven allí a Trevor, con un lanzallamas y la casa incendiándose.
Aquí pasamos al juicio, todos los acontecimientos con la abeja fueron los que lo llevaron aquí, y con un montón de cargos en su contra más toda la evidencia es condenado a 3 años de prisión, seguidamente lo vemos en la cárcel y cuando está apunto de comer escucha a unos hombres hablando en la mesa de atrás y alcanza a escuchar que llegaron allí porque un millonario les pagó para que entraran a robar a su propia casa, todo se trataba de un fraude al seguro, rápidamente Trevor se comunica con el policía que le había advertido sobre los delincuentes y durante una fiesta en la lujosa casa llega la policía y arrestan al dueño de la casa, descubrieron todo el fraude y gracias a ello Trevor quedó en libertad.
Al final podemos observar a Trevor finalmente de vacaciones con su hija en un hermoso campamento disfrutando de un lindo día, cuando de repente ¡ahí está de nuevo! Aparece la abeja, Trevor por un momento quiso hacer algo al respecto pero, fue amable y la dejó tranquila, unos segundos más tarde comienza a perseguirla nuevamente finalizando en una nueva persecución.

Trevor is a divorced man with a teenage daughter with whom he has not spent much time because of his job search, he wanted very much to be with her but at the same time he needed this job to be able to take her on vacation, so he could not allow the owners of the house discover everything that was happening there, Trevor takes one of the expensive cars from the garage and goes out looking for help for Cupcake, on the way he realizes that the bee was in the car and distracted with her loses the control and damages part of the car, however, he manages to get to the vet and save Pastelito, when he gets back home he tries to catch the bee again and without thinking he ended up doing serious damage to the car, there he reconsiders and realizes that he completely lost his mind.
A policeman arrives at the house to report that there were some criminals in the neighborhood and that if he saw something suspicious he should notify the police, that same night Trevor went to sleep but not before talking to his daughter on the phone, while that happens the delinquents to the house and you deactivate all the alarms and security systems thus gaining access to the house, they had a list of everything that should be taken looking especially for the works of art that were allegedly very expensive and while they were looking Trevor leaves his room following the bee again, the criminals quickly hide behind a sofa while Trevor starts yelling things like "I can hear you, I know where you are, I'm going to catch you and kill you" the criminals thought it was them and trying to sneak away they get trapped in a room that had a special lock on the outside, they wake up there and the next morning the police arrive asking if they had seen the criminals to which they and he replies no, "everything is fine" while in the background the criminals are seen trying to leave the room, there they are caught and taken to jail, Trevor is interrogated but it was evident that he had no idea what those men were there.
The chase to the bee continues but and at this point now if Trevor had lost his mind, completely desperate he made a homemade bomb with which he was not successful either, finally the owners of the house arrive without prior notice and they find a complete disaster but not only that, when entering the house they see Trevor there, with a flamethrower and the house on fire.
Here we go to the trial, all the events with the bee were what brought him here, and with a lot of charges against him plus all the evidence he is sentenced to 3 years in prison, then we see him in jail and when he is about to eating listens to some men talking at the back table and manages to hear that they got there because a millionaire paid them to break into his own house, it was all about insurance fraud, Trevor quickly communicates with the policeman who he had warned him about the criminals and during a party in the luxurious house the police arrive and arrest the owner of the house, they discovered all the fraud and thanks to that Trevor was released.
At the end we can see Trevor finally on vacation with his daughter in a beautiful camp enjoying a nice day, when suddenly there he is again! The bee appears, Trevor for a moment wanted to do something about it but, he was kind and left her alone, a few seconds later he starts chasing her again ending in a new chase.
Como ya les comenté nunca fui fan de Mr. Bean sin embargo, sé de qué trata y aquí en Man vs. Bee podemos ver nuevamente a Rowan Atkinson desempeñando el papel de un hombre torpe con muy mala suerte, en ningún momento dejan de pasar las cosas malas y si lo vemos bien es por algo tonto, una simple abeja fue lo que lo llevó a la cárcel, pero la verdad es que yo me identifico mucho, soy una persona con muy poca paciencia y cuando estoy de mal humor es cuando peor me sale todo, en su lugar no habría hecho tantos estragos pero lo que si se es que nunca me habría quedado de brazos cruzados, a mi parecer la abeja era exageradamente fuerte, sin mencionar lo inteligente que era, parecía casi como si estuviera consciente de que estaba en guerra con un humano, lo pintan como un animal vengativo y hasta cierto punto malo, pero la verdad es que las abejas son animales inofensivos que solo contribuyen en la naturaleza con la polinización de las plantas, en cuanto a Trevor pienso que actuó muy mal, muchas de las acciones que tomó fueron descabelladas y todo ese final se pudo haber evitado si tan solo hubiera ignorado a la abeja, pero bueno, sin eso no habría serie
A pesar de todo lo dicho la serie me gustó mucho, me hizo reír a mas no poder a pesar de que eran bromas tontas pero a veces esas cosas tontas son las que más risa ocasionan, yo disfruté mucho la serie y la vi toda en un momento, no podía esperar para saber que más pasaba y aunque son muchas las cosas que pasan todo contiene un humor sano ideal para toda la familia.

As I already told you, I was never a fan of Mr. Bean however, I know what it's about and here at **Man vs. Bee ** we can see Rowan Atkinson again playing the role of a clumsy man with very bad luck, at no time do bad things stop happening and if we see him well it is for something silly, a simple bee was what led him to death prison, but the truth is that I identify myself a lot, I am a person with very little patience and when I am in a bad mood is when everything turns out the worst for me, in his place I would not have caused so much damage but what I do know is that I never would have sat idly by, in my opinion the bee was exaggeratedly strong, not to mention how intelligent it was, it seemed almost as if it was aware that it was at war with a human, they paint it as a vengeful animal and to a certain extent bad, but the The truth is that bees are harmless animals that only contribute to nature with the pollination of plants, as for Trevor I think he acted very badly, many of the actions he took were crazy and all that ending could have been avoided if i would have just ignored the bee, but hey, without that there would be no serie
Despite everything said, I liked the series a lot, it made me laugh out loud even though they were silly jokes but sometimes those silly things are the ones that cause the most laughter, I really enjoyed the series and I watched it all in one moment, I couldn't wait to find out what else was going on and although there are many things that happen, everything contains a healthy humor ideal for the whole family.
