Si quedaron intrigados con el primer capítulo y quieren saber qué trae el segundo, pues acá les va una reseña. En este episodio podemos ir viendo una pequeña evolución en la que viven los protagonistas de la serie. Podemos ir viendo cómo la ilusión de Wanda de tener una vida perfecta y feliz al lado de Visión, comienza a tener sus problemas.
This chapter starts in a very funny and hilarious way, since Wanda and Vision are scared in their room by a noise they hear outside. I find it funny to think that both are scared, since they are great superheroes with many powers and that they are easily scared by a noise that ends up being a tree branch in the window, it is hilarious. In this opportunity the introduction of the series makes reference to the series of the time that had an animated intro, particularly it reminds me of series like Bewitched.
Continuing with the episode, the couple trying to fit into their new life, practice for a talent show that is a charity event for the children of the community. In this opportunity, Vision will be a magician called Illusion and Wanda will be his charming assistant called Glamour. One of the tricks for this act will be to make Wanda disappear in a box with a double bottom, but the interesting thing is that, on the front, the box has the symbol of the gem of Vision's mind.
Este capítulo comienza de una manera muy cómica y divertida, puesto que Wanda y Visión están asustados en su habitación por un ruido que escuchan afuera. Me resulta gracioso pensar que ambos estén asustados, puesto que son unos grandes superhéroes con muchos poderes y que se asusten con facilidad por un ruido que termina siendo la rama de un árbol en la ventana, es hilarante. En esta oportunidad la introducción de la serie hace referencia a las series de la época que tenían una intro animada, particularmente me recuerda series como Hechizada.
Continuando con el episodio, la pareja intentando encajar en su nueva vida, practican para un show de talentos que es un evento benéfico para los niños de la comunidad. En esta oportunidad, Visión será un mago que se llama Ilusión y Wanda será su encantadora asistente llamada Glamour. Uno de los trucos para este acto será hacer desaparecer a Wanda en una caja con doble fondo, pero lo interesante es que, en la parte frontal, la caja tiene el símbolo de la gema de la mente de Visión.
After practicing the tricks, Wanda and Vision separate, she will go to a tea meeting with the women of the neighborhood and Vision will go to a public library for a meeting with the gentlemen to discuss neighborhood safety issues. On her way to the meeting with the women, Wanda hears strange noises outside her house and goes out to find out what it is about and finds among her rosebushes a helicopter (very similar to the Iron Man) with the symbol of S.W.O.R.D. The interesting thing is that even though the series is still in black and white, this artifact appears in a very bright red and yellow color.
Once at the meeting for the children's charity event, Monica Rambeau is presented for the first time but with another identity, Geraldine. Dottie, the committee chairperson, scolds Wanda for her bad manners, you can tell how Wanda is very nervous about fitting in with the women of the neighborhood.
Después de practicar los trucos, Wanda y Visión se separan, ella porque irá a una reunión del té con las mujeres del vecindario y Visión irá a una biblioteca pública a una reunión con los caballeros para tratar asuntos de seguridad del vecindario. En su camino hacia la reunión con las mujeres, Wanda escucha ruidos raros fuera de su casa y sale para averiguar de qué se trata y encuentra entre sus rosales un helicóptero (muy parecido al de Iron Man) con el símbolo de S.W.O.R.D, lo interesante es que a pesar de que la serie aún está en blanco y negro, este artefacto aparece con un color rojo y amarillo muy brillante.
Una vez en la reunión para el evento benéfico para los niños, presentan por primera vez a Mónica Rambeau pero con otra identidad, Geraldine. Dottie, la presidenta del comité, regaña a Wanda por sus malos modales, se puede notar cómo Wanda está muy nerviosa por encajar con las mujeres del vecindario.
After the meeting, Dottie instructs Wanda to clean up everything about the tea party they had. Wanda tries to make a fresh start with Dottie, but Dottie tells her that she has heard things from her and her husband, to which Wanda says they don't want to hurt anyone, and Dottie replies that she doesn't believe her. At this moment another very strange event happens and I believe that it will be the key to unraveling this whole mystery that is the perfect life of Wanda and Vision and that is that the radio interrupts the conversation with a message that we can sense is Jimmy Woo played by Randall Park about the following question: Who is doing this to you, Wanda?
Después de la reunión, Dottie encarga a Wanda para que limpie todo lo referente a la fiesta del té que han tenido. Wanda intenta comenzar de cero con Dottie, pero ésta le dice que ha escuchado cosas de ella y de su marido, a lo cual Wanda dice que ellos no quieren hacerle daño a nadie y Dottie responde que no le cree. En este momento sucede otro evento muy extraño y que creo será la clave para ir descifrando todo este misterio que es la vida perfecta de Wanda y Visión y es que la radio interrumpe la conversación con un mensaje que podemos intuir que es Jimmy Woo interpretado por Randall Park sobre la siguiente pregunta: ¿Quién te está haciendo esto, Wanda?
Finally, the radio breaks and so does the glass that Dottie holds in her hand, but showing blood of color, very similar to what happened with the helicopter before, which Wanda tries to cure her of, but Dottie says that the women referring to that time, take care of cleaning the stains.
Finalmente, la radio se rompe y también el vaso que tiene en la mano Dottie, pero enseñando sangre de color, muy similar a lo que sucedió con el helicóptero anteriormente, a lo que Wanda intenta curarla, pero Dottie dice que las mujeres refiriéndose a esa época, se encargan de limpiar las manchas.
For his part, Vision in the library realizes that the meeting of the gentlemen is simply to tell gossip about the town and eat snacks, they offer her a piece of gum that she accidentally eats and causes her system to fail by pretending to be drunk.
Por su parte, Visión en la biblioteca se da cuenta que la reunión de los caballeros es simplemente para contar chismes del pueblo y comer bocadillos, le ofrecen un chicle que por accidente se come y hace que falle su sistema simulando que está ebrio.
Luego aparece el segundo Easter Egg, en este caso un comercial promocionando un reloj fabricado por la gente de H.Y.D.R.A.
Already in the talent show, Vision starts improvising using her real powers, which is why Wanda has to fix the whole situation by making it look like it's all a fake trick. All this makes this scene very jocular.
After having successfully raffled off their participation in the show for the benefit of the children, Wanda and Vision arrive at their house, but again they start to hear noises, they go out and find that a beekeeper with the S.W.O.R.D. logo on his back is coming out of the sewers and Wanda says NO and they go back, the same facts occur, but without the beekeeper now appearing.
Ya en el show de talentos, Visión empieza a improvisar utilizando sus verdaderos poderes, razón por la cual, Wanda tiene que arreglar toda la situación haciendo parecer que todo es un truco falso. Todo esto hace esta escena muy jocosa.
Después de haber sorteado con éxito su participación en el show a beneficio de los niños, Wanda y Visión llegan a su casa, pero nuevamente comienzan a escuchar ruidos, salen y se encuentran que de las cloacas sale un hombre apicultor con el logo de S.W.O.R.D en la espalda y Wanda dice NO y retroceden atrás, ocurriendo los mismos hechos, pero sin que el apicultor ahora aparezca.
It is because of this scene that I believe that somehow Wanda is the one who is handling this new reality they are living, she does not want to be rescued nor does she want anyone to try to take away this new "happiness" she is experiencing, except now, when at the end of this episode Wanda is shown with a lump similar to a pregnancy.
As a farewell, we see how color begins to appear until it becomes abundant on the screen and enters the 70's.
Es por esta escena que creo que de alguna manera Wanda es quien maneja esta nueva realidad que están viviendo, no quiere ser rescatada ni quiere que nadie intente quitarle esa nueva “felicidad” que está experimentando, menos ahora, cuando en el final de este capítulo se nos muestra a Wanda con un bulto parecido a un embarazo.
Como despedida, vemos como el color empieza a aparecer hasta que abunda en la pantalla y entran en los años 70.
