Esta película que vengo a contarles, la vi un día domingo que estaba acostada en mi cama sin hacer nada y pasando lo canales, de pronto me detuve y vi el nombre Don't Breathe, en ese momento pensé Woow interesante, la veré.

La Trama | The Plot
Los primeros minutos de esta película, tres jóvenes ingresan a la casa de un señor ciego con intención de robar su dinero, quienes antes de entrar duermen al perro del dueño.
In the first minutes of this film, three young men enter the house of a blind man with the intention of stealing his money, who, before entering, put the owner's dog to sleep.
El grupo ya en el interior de la casa empiezan a buscar el dinero que esconde el señor, la cual no lo encuentran, inmediatamente van al cuarto del viejo y colocan un gas en el piso para que quede inconsciente.
Asimismo, los chicos ven una puerta en la sala que esta con seguro, donde disparan a la cerradura. El ruido que se genera despierta al hombre ciego, que exige saber quién más está con él. Money que es uno de los chicos, le indica que esta solo y el viejo lo mata con su propia arma.
Once inside the house, the group begins to look for the money hidden by the man, but they do not find it, they immediately go to the old man's room and place a gas on the floor to make him unconscious.
Also, the boys see a door in the living room that is locked, where they shoot at the lock. The noise that is generated awakens the blind man, who demands to know who else is with him. Money, who is one of the boys, tells him he is alone and the old man kills him with his own gun.
Aterrada Rockey (la única mujer del grupo), se esconde en el armario, percatándose que el anciano tiene el dinero oculto en una caja fuerte, cuando el se va, ella logra robarlo.
Cuando el señor se regresa a su cuarto, pisa unos zapatos qué no era de quien mato, si no de otro importuno que es Alex, seguidamente lo empieza a buscar.
Terrified Rockey (the only woman in the group), hides in the closet, realizing that the old man has the money hidden in a safe, when he leaves, she manages to steal it.
When the man goes back to his room, he steps on some shoes that did not belong to the man he killed, but to Alex, who is another troublemaker, and then starts looking for him.
Inmediatamente Rockey y Alex, huyen y se van hacia el sótano, donde se encuentran con una mujer que esta amarrada y abusada en una celda. Ella (Cintya) fue quien mato a la hija del ciego en un accidente de tránsito, en el que la secuestra y la mantiene cautiva, embarazándola con su semen para que le devolviera a su hija. Los jóvenes la liberan y se van corriendo a la salida del depósito, siendo sorprendidos por el anciano, quien dispara y mata a Cintya.
Quien llora por haberla matado, así los chicos huyen del lugar, mientras el hombre ciego apaga las luces de la casa; Rockey luchando por su vida, noquea al señor y lo deja inconsciente, huyendo a la parte de arriba.
Cuando están arriba viven unas terroríficas horas de suspenso, donde Rockey se escapa hacia un conducto de ventilación, quedando atrapada y Alex mientras defendiéndose del perro que lo atacaba, cayó en una ventana de vidrio en donde que quedó inconsciente; cuando despierta el hombre ciego lo mata con varias clavadas de tijeras en su cuerpo.
Rockey fue capturada y llevada al sótano del terror, donde el villano la amarra y la coloca con las piernas abiertas para luego prepararla y hacerle una inseminación artificial, ya que Cintya quien mato por culpa de ella, estaba esperando un hijo del él. Seguidamente llega Alex y logra ayudarla, amarrando al viejo en la celda.
Los jóvenes tratan de salir por la puerta principal, donde el viejo se logro liberar y con un disparo mata a Alex, La mujer huye, pero fue capturada; cuando están nuevamente en la casa, ella enciende una alarma donde el hombre ciego se desorienta y con un golpe que le da en la cabeza cayendo al sótano y el se dispara asimismo, cayendo muerto.
Rockey huye del sitio antes de que llegue la policía, y se lleva el dinero. Cuando va en el tren hacia Los Ángeles con su hermana; ve en las noticias que el viejo esta en el hospital en condición estable, pero no la denuncio.

Immediately Rockey and Alex flee and go to the basement, where they find a woman who is tied up and abused in a cell. She (Cintya) was the one who killed the blind man's daughter in a traffic accident, in which he kidnaps her and keeps her captive, impregnating her with his semen so that she will give him back his daughter. The young people free her and run to the exit of the warehouse, being surprised by the old man, who shoots and kills Cintya.
Cintya cries for having killed her, so the boys flee the place, while the blind man turns off the lights of the house; Rockey fighting for his life, knocks out the man and leaves him unconscious, fleeing to the upstairs.
When they are upstairs they live a terrifying hours of suspense, where Rockey escapes into a ventilation duct, being trapped and Alex while defending himself from the dog that attacked him, fell into a glass window in which he was unconscious; when he wakes up the blind man kills him with several scissors stabs in his body.
Rockey was captured and taken to the basement of terror, where the villain ties her up and places her with her legs open to then prepare her and perform an artificial insemination, since Cintya, who was killed because of her, was expecting his child. Then Alex arrives and manages to help her, tying up the old man in the cell.
The young men try to leave through the main door, where the old man manages to free himself and with a shot kills Alex. The woman flees, but was captured; when they are back in the house, she turns on an alarm where the blind man becomes disoriented and with a blow to the head he falls to the basement and he shoots himself, also falling dead.
Rockey flees the scene before the police arrive, and takes the money with him. When he is on the train to Los Angeles with his sister; he sees on the news that the old man is in the hospital in stable condition, but does not report it.
Mi opinión | My opinion
En definitiva, ‘No Respires’ es una estupenda y muy entretenida película de suspenso. Una vez que entramos a la casa, la tensión no para nunca. Se trata de un hombre ciego corpulento, entrenado para matar, y la única forma de que los tres ladrones eviten ser atrapados es que no sepa que están ahí, frente a sus ojos que no ven. Es decir, sus vidas dependen de que no hagan ruido: literalmente, de que ni respiren
NO RESPIRES demuestra q se puede hacer una película de terror sin demasiados efectos especiales. El director Federico Álvarez si q se lució, sin duda esta película debió ganar por lo menos un Óscar, Posee una trama excelentemente original. Las escenas dan una gran cantidad de suspenso. Te dejan los pelos de punta y los ojos en la pantalla. Muy recomendable.
All in all, 'Don't Breathe' is a great and very entertaining thriller. Once we enter the house, the tension never stops. It's about a burly blind man, trained to kill, and the only way for the three burglars to avoid being caught is for him not to know they are there, in front of his unseeing eyes. In other words, their lives depend on them not making a sound: literally, not even breathing.
Don't Breathe shows that it is possible to make a horror film without too many special effects. The director Federico Alvarez did a great job, without a doubt this film should have won at least an Oscar, it has an excellently original plot. The scenes give a great amount of suspense. They leave your hair standing on end and your eyes on the screen. Highly recommended.
