Hello dear Hiver,
today my ranking of my favorite science fiction movies. Yes I know, ET, 2001 Odyssey in Space, Metropolis and some other classics are missing. But this is about my taste and I just have movies that I like better. The order of my films is arbitrary as they just came to my mind. They are all pearls of their genre. I am curious about your comments.
Alien (1979), the original Alien movie, which influenced whole generations of movies and made Sigourney Weaver a world star.
Interstellar (2013), it really gets under your skin. Took me several days to think about it. Matthew Mc Conaughey with one of his best performances.
Edge of Tomorrow (2014), Tom Cruis and real banging. What more could you want?
Matrix (1999), also a genrepregnant film especially in animation. Simply terrific. Keanu Reeves is a miracle for me anyway. Already written off many times and then back with a bang. Perfect.
Terminator 2 (1991), what kid of the 90's doesn't know this movie? Arnie, Guns & Roses, the perfect mix!
Predator (1987), as a child still watched with proper fear but never regretted! Again Arnold Schwarzenegger with it, he has simply something and was not for nothing a world star.
Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), absolute highlight of the Marvel Universe for me. just the right mix of suspense, action and humor.
Starship Troopers (1997), rather trash but really funny. For me Klut.
The fifth element (1997), one of my heroes, Bruce Willis! Popcorn kina at its finest.
Demolition Man (1993), last but not least Stallone and Snipes belong on the list for me. Their interplay in this film is just fun.
So if you haven't seen all the movies yet, go for it! You can expect a nice movie night in any case. I'm always grateful for suggestions, maybe I'm still missing a movie that absolutely has to be on my list.

Hallo liebe Hiver,
heute mein Ranking meiner lieblings Science Fiction Filme. Ja ich weiß, es fehlen ET, 2001 Odyssee im Weltraum, Metropolis und ein paar andere Klassiker. Aber hier geht es ja um meinen Geschmack und da habe ich eben einfach Filme die ich besser finde. Die Reihenfolge meiner Filme ist beliebig wie sie mir gerade in den Sinn kamen. Es sind alles Perlen ihres Genres. Bin gespannt auf Eure Kommentare.
Alien (1979), der Ur-Alienfilm, der ganze Generationen von Filmen prägte und Sigourney Weaver zum weltstar machte.
Interstellar (2013), der geht echt unter die Haut. Hat mich mehrere Tage gekostet darüber nachzudenken. Matthew Mc Conaughey mit einer seiner besten Leistungen.

Matrix (1999), auch ein genreprägender Film speziell in der Tricktechnik. Einfach grandios. Keanu Reeves ist für ich sowieso ein Wunder. Schon oft abgeschrieben und dann mit einem Knall zurück. Perfekt.
Terminator 2 (1991), welches Kind der 90er kennt diesen Film nicht? Arnie, Guns & Roses, die perfekte Mischung!
Predator (1987), als Kind noch mit gehörig Angst geschaut aber niemals bereut! Wieder Arnold Schwarzenegger mit dabei, der hat einfach was und war nicht umsonst ein Weltstar.

Also wer noch nicht alle Filme davon gesehen hat, los gehts! Euch erwartet auf jeden Fall ein schöner Filmabend. Für Anregungen bin ich immer dankbar, vielleicht fehlt mir ja noch ein Film, der unbedingt auf meine Liste muss.
