Saludos querida comunidad de asiduos espectadores del cine ¡Espero que hayan tenido un buen comienzo de semana! El día de hoy les traigo la reseña de una película que vi por aquí en una review, pero, aunque no leí la review porque quería ver la película y no tener una opinión sesgada, me llamó la atención los personajes que salían en el póster y el tipo de animación que ofrecía.

Today I bring you a review of a movie that I saw here in a review, but, although I didn't read the review because I wanted to see the movie and not have a biased opinion, I was struck by the characters on the poster and the type of animation it offered.
La podemos encontrar en la descripción de Netflix como una mezcla de comedia, sátira y drama, de carácter surrealista, formada por 3 historias diferentes, con personajes completamente distintos unos de otros, en tiempos también bastante distintos, pero conectados todos por una casa, que es donde se llevan a cabo todos los acontecimientos.
Cada historia está dirigida independientemente, la primera por dirigida por Emma de Swaef y Marc James Roels, la segunda por sueca Niki Lindroth von Bahr y la tercera por la mexicana Paloma Baeza.
¿Qué les puedo decir, Qué fue lo que me llevó a ver la película? Ya se los he dicho, pero para el que no me ha leído, sepan que soy amante de todo lo que tenga que ver con esculturas y artes en general y cuando veo que los personajes son como esculturas móviles, es una cosa que sin empezar a ver ¡ya amo! siempre desde muy joven he dicho que tengo un alma vieja para los gustos y este no es la excepción, me encanta en especial este tipo de películas por las características del tipo de animación que son como de la vieja escuela, de los comienzos del cine cuando todo se hacía de la forma más artesanal posible.
We can find it in Netflix's description as a mixture of comedy, satire and drama, surreal, formed by 3 different stories, with characters completely different from each other, in times also quite different, but all connected by a house, which is where all the events take place.
Each story is directed independently, the first one by Emma de Swaef and Marc James Roels, the second one by Swedish Niki Lindroth von Bahr and the third one by Mexican Paloma Baeza.
What can I tell you, what led me to see the film? I have already told you, but for those who have not read me, know that I am a lover of everything that has to do with sculptures and arts in general and when I see that the characters are like moving sculptures, it is something that without even beginning to see, I already love! Since I was very young I have always said that I have an old soul for tastes and this is no exception, I especially love this kind of movies because of the characteristics of the type of animation that are like old school, from the beginnings of cinema when everything was made in the most artisanal way possible.
Este tipo de animaciones me recuerdan mucho a mi infancia y como me quedaba embelesada horas y horas admirando esos personajes de las películas que tenían este tipo de animación en esa época, pero ya cuando fui creciendo no solo me quedaba admirando los personajes si no ¡todo lo demás!, es increíble solo pensar cómo pueden crear tantas imágenes y tantas marionetas para hacer que esas figuras se vean como si enserio se movieran; las expresiones faciales, ¡Diossss Miooo! "las expresiones faciales".
Esta película está formada por 3 tipos animaciones que son verdaderamente hermosas individualmente, pero por el tipo de personajes la primera de las 3 historias es la que a mi parecer es la más hermosa desde el punto de vista estético, ver esas texturas y entender cómo crearon en fieltro solo con pintura expresiones faciales me dejó anonadada, se veían ¡increíbles! Es completamente asombroso apreciar como hicieron que cada personaje se viera ¡tan diferente! solo con cambiar las características de pequeños detalles en la cara como la nariz más larga o la distribución de los elementos faciales más cerca uno de otro. ¡Me fascinó!
Debo decir que las otras 2 historias también tienen sus detalles marcados y su belleza en cada una, pero como yo soy admiradora del arte básico y que la primera es la que presenta más características de la vieja escuela, es la que más me gustó, repito esta preferencia es desde de punto de vista estético, con respecto a otros factores les hablaré más adelante en mi análisis. Bueno, ahora si dejando de lado el por qué me llamó la atención la película y el por qué decidí verla, pasó a darles una breve sinopsis de lo que fueron las 3 historias que nos presenta la película.
This type of animation reminds me a lot of my childhood and how I was enraptured hours and hours admiring those characters of the movies that had this type of animation at that time, but when I grew up I was not only admiring the characters but everything else, it is incredible just to think how they can create so many images and so many puppets to make those figures look as if they really moved; the facial expressions, Diossss Miooo! "the facial expressions".
This movie is made up of 3 types of animations that are truly beautiful individually, but because of the type of characters the first of the 3 stories is the one that in my opinion is the most beautiful from an aesthetic point of view, seeing those textures and understanding how they created in felt only with paint facial expressions just blew me away, they looked amazing! It is completely amazing to appreciate how they made each character look so different! just by changing the characteristics of small details in the face like the longer nose or the distribution of the facial elements closer to each other. I was fascinated!
I must say that the other 2 stories also have their own details and beauty in each one, but as I am a fan of the basic art and the first one is the one that presents more old school characteristics, it is the one I liked the most, I repeat this preference is from an aesthetic point of view, regarding other factors I will talk to you later in my analysis. Well, now leaving aside the reason why the film caught my attention and why I decided to watch it, I will give you a brief synopsis of the 3 stories presented in the film.
Raymond bajo en su desesperación se encuentra con un arquitecto que le ofrece una grandiosa idea que es mejorar sus condiciones de vida y por ende sociales, a cambio de cederle a él la casa donde han vivido toda la vida y construir una nueva en un terreno cercano, pero con muchísimas comodidades; es de las 3 historias la que aparenta tener un entramado más oscuro y hasta de terror, aun cuando los personales son los más simples y agradables a la vista de las tres irónicamente. Esta primera parte nos plantea varias preguntas. ¿Será esto lo que realmente necesita la familia de Raymon para ser feliz?, ¿Dejarán su antigua casa y se decidirán por la nueva?, ¿El trato les será tan beneficioso como lo plantea el abogado del arquitecto? ¿Será ese cambio tan radical lo que deseaba su familia para ser feliz?

The first of the plots takes place in some past centuries, maybe the XIX century due to the characteristics of the costumes and props, and it is about a family formed by the parents, a girl and a baby; It is a family that is presented as low social class, but at the same time is related to relatives of high social class, who taking into account the time and the marked differences in social classes and the importance of this stratification, make the father feel very bad making unnecessary comparisons between his family and others, causing in the father (Raymond) a state of sadness and frustration.
Raymond, in his desperation, meets an architect who offers him a great idea which is to improve their living and social conditions, in exchange for giving him the house where they have lived all their lives and build a new one on a nearby lot, but with many amenities; it is of the 3 stories the one that seems to have a darker and even terrifying plot, even though the personalities are the simplest and most pleasant to the eye of the three, ironically. This first part raises several questions: Will this be what Raymon's family really needs to be happy, will they leave their old house and decide for the new one, will the deal be as beneficial as the architect's lawyer suggests, will such a radical change be what his family wanted to be happy?
Hay muchísimos bichos como cucarachas, gusanos y termitas, etc, así que si tienes alguna fobia al respecto no te va a gustar esta trama, pero si dejas pasar eso y te enfocas en la trama te va a gustar, el personaje intenta vender la casa en esas condiciones tratando de evitar que la gente se dé cuenta de los desperfectos, hasta que aparecen unos probables compradores con personalidades muy características y que hacen que sus planes se vean un poco entorpecidos. Esta historia, a mi humilde parecer, es la que tiene más de sátira, presentan hasta un mini musical con los bichos, ¡bastante bizarro a la vista debo decir! jajaja ¡tienen que verlo! En general la historia te hace plantearte varias interrogantes. ¿Por qué tiene tanta obsesión en vender la casa nuestro personaje principal?, ¿Por qué se siente tan desesperado al respecto?, ¿Conseguirá vender la casa y encontrar la felicidad que tanto busca?,¿Qué tienen que ver los bichos en todo esto?

This second plot is about a character who is a real estate agent, in this case represented by a rat with human characteristics, who invested all his life savings in restructuring a house by himself to then sell it, he is shown as a stressed and anxious forgiveness for everything he has had to do to achieve it, but sadly in his restructuring work even when the house appears to be in perfect condition, has many errors that he has been repairing very superficially and is also completely infested with bugs hahaha, yes, as you read: bugs!
There are lots and lots of bugs like cockroaches, worms and termites, etc, so if you have any phobia about it you will not like this plot, but if you let that go and focus on the plot you will like it, the character tries to sell the house in that condition trying to avoid people noticing the flaws, until some likely buyers with very characteristic personalities appear and make their plans a little hindered. This story, in my humble opinion, is the one with the most satire, they even present a mini musical with the bugs, quite bizarre to look at I must say! hahaha you have to see it! In general, the story makes you ask yourself several questions: Why is our main character so obsessed with selling the house, why does he feel so desperate about it, will he manage to sell the house and find the happiness he is looking for, what do the bugs have to do with all this?
Esta historia tiene personajes con personalidades bien características y bien distintos unos de otros, debo decir que es de las 3 historias la que más me gustó tiene más de drama y de existencialismo que otra cosa y además toda la escenografía es maravillosa, ¡tienen que verla! Nos hace preguntarnos ¿Por qué Rosa no quiere abandonar esa casa?,¿Por qué Rosa quiere permanecer rodeada de esa inundación?, ¿Cuál es su empeño en reconstruir una casa que está rodeada de miseria y desolación?

In this third plot we have the story of a character, in this case a cat also with humanoid characteristics named Rosa, who dreams of rebuilding her house after the whole place where she lives has suffered a devastating flood, she rents her rooms but because the surrounding area is in such bad condition, she only has 2 tenants who are unable to work because the flood does not allow them to do so; Rosa wants to fulfill her dream, so she gets along very badly with her tenants because they don't pay her rent with the money she wants to invest in the restoration, but instead they use other means of payment that she is not interested in, because she wants her money to rebuild the house she dreams of so much.
This story has characters with very characteristic personalities and very different from each other, I must say that of the 3 stories I liked the most, it has more drama and existentialism than anything else and besides all the scenery is wonderful, you have to see it! It makes us wonder why Rosa doesn't want to leave that house, why Rosa wants to remain surrounded by that flood, what is her determination to rebuild a house that is surrounded by misery and desolation?

Me es difícil aún hasta este momento hacer los análisis que quiero hacer sin decir un poco de spoilers, cada día hago un poco más el intento, creo que lo estoy logrando, pero aún no del todo, así que debes saber que a partir de aquí puedes encontrar algunos en mi análisis, así que, si no quieres leerlos, puedes saltarlos hasta la conclusión.

Debo decir que son 3 historias bien distintas unas de otras, aunque podemos ver ciertas cosas que las conectan a las 3, como por ejemplo el detalle principal que es que las 3 historias se desarrollan en la misma casa, pero en tiempos distintos, una en el siglo XIX, una en la actualidad y otra en un futuro no tan lejano.
Pero eso es lo más evidente, sin embargo, hay otras cosas no tan evidentes que conectan a los personajes principales y son sus personalidades. Los personajes principales de cada casa tienen problemas serios personales, lucen estresados, inconformes con sus propias vidas y amargados, pareciera incluso que la casa pasa a ser el centro de sus vidas y es irónicamente esa casa lo que les genera más estrés, lo cual se vuelve un círculo vicioso en sus vidas. Ellos sienten que utilizando la casa de una u otra forma van a encontrar la felicidad en su vida, sienten que todo cambiará y ¡será lo más grandioso que les podrá suceder! y sin querer terminan teniendo todas sus emociones ligadas a esa estructura inmobiliaria, y ¡nada más!.
El primero cree que teniendo todos los lujos y comodidades que le ofrece esta nueva casa y obteniendo todo el estatus social por el que tanto ha soñado va a ser completamente feliz; El segundo cree que vendiendo esa casa va a lograr también su completa felicidad porque invirtió todos los ahorros de su vida en ella, y ésta cambiará para bien al obtener el beneficio económico que sueña por la venta; y La tercera cree que reestructurando su casa va hallar la absoluta felicidad porque es una meta fija que tiene planteada hace mucho tiempo y que debe cumplir. Como ven todos los 3 personajes tienen atada su felicidad a la casa donde habitan. Es como si se estuvieran adhiriendo a las cosas materiales en la vida y que consideran que ese es el sentido de vivir.
I must say that they are 3 stories very different from each other, although we can see certain things that connect the 3, such as the main detail that is that the 3 stories take place in the same house, but in different times, one in the nineteenth century, one in the present and another in the not so distant future.
But that is the most obvious, however, there are other things not so obvious that connect the main characters and are their personalities. The main characters of each house have serious personal problems, they look stressed, dissatisfied with their own lives and bitter, it even seems that the house becomes the center of their lives and it is ironically that house that generates more stress, which becomes a vicious circle in their lives. They feel that by using the house in one way or another they will find happiness in their life, they feel that everything will change and it will be the greatest thing that can happen to them! and unintentionally they end up having all their emotions linked to that real estate structure, and nothing else!
The first one believes that having all the luxuries and comforts that this new house offers him and obtaining all the social status he has dreamed of, he will be completely happy; The second believes that by selling this house he will also achieve complete happiness because he invested all his life savings in it, and it will change for the better when he obtains the economic benefit he dreams of from the sale; and The third one believes that by restructuring his house he will find absolute happiness because it is a fixed goal he has had for a long time and that he must achieve. As you can see, all 3 characters have their happiness tied to the house they live in. It is as if they were adhering to the material things in life and that they consider that this is the meaning of living.
El empeño en la casa es tal que no toman en cuenta los principios fundamentales de la vida:
-El primer personaje (Raymond) se olvida completamente de lo que le es importante para su familia, sobre todo para sus hijos, se le olvida que los niños no saben nada de objetos materiales y menos de clases sociales, ellos solo querían seguir con su familia en su antigua casa y con sus antiguos objetos que eran los que hacían su vida feliz aún en la simpleza.
-El segundo personaje centra toda su vida en esa casa, no tiene relaciones personales con nadie incluso hay un detalle importante que no voy a decir, pero que nos hace entender que el personaje está realmente muy sólo, pero ni siquiera busca soluciones a eso ¡toda! absolutamente ¡toda su prioridad, es esa casa! su vida personal no importa, sus relaciones sociales no importan, básicamente ¡nada más importa!
-La tercera personaje ¡es aún peor! porque es tanta su obsesión por cumplir su sueño con la casa que se olvida de lo verdaderamente importante que tiene a la vista y son sus amigos que son literalmente los únicos seres que habitan cerca de ella, tiene 2 amigos que no la han querido abandonar aún en la tragedia de la inundación, no tienen como pagarle, es cierto no le pagan con dinero, pero ella no se da cuenta que le pagan con algo más importante que eso, y es con su compañía, con su preocupación por ella, e intentando que cambie de parecer y avance en la vida. Pero ella ensimismada en su obsesión no ve nada de eso.
The commitment in the house is such that they do not take into account the fundamental principles of life:
-The first character (Raymond) completely forgets what is important for his family, especially for his children, he forgets that children do not know anything about material objects and even less about social classes, they only wanted to stay with their family in their old house and with their old objects that made their life happy even in its simplicity.
-The second character focuses his whole life in that house, he has no personal relationships with anyone there is even an important detail that I will not say, but that makes us understand that the character is really very lonely, but he does not even look for solutions to that, all! absolutely all his priority, is that house! his personal life does not matter, his social relationships do not matter, basically nothing else matters!
-The third character is even worse! because she is so obsessed with fulfilling her dream with the house that she forgets the most important thing she has in sight and that is her friends, who are literally the only people who live close to her, she has 2 friends who have not wanted to abandon her even in the tragedy of the flood, they have no way to pay her, it is true that they do not pay her with money, but she does not realize that they pay her with something more important than that, and that is with their company, with their concern for her, and trying to change her mind and move forward in life. But she, engrossed in her obsession, doesn't see any of that.
Me gusta de la primera historia el aprendizaje que deja de que la obsesión con lo material puede llegar a ser tal, que te puede convertir literalmente en un material de esos en los que tanto estabas obsesionado; que al obtener una cosa puede cegarte la avaricia y la obsesión y puede hacerte querer más y más cada vez, hasta que llegue un punto en el que ni siquiera te reconozcas a ti mismo, puedes llegar a que no te importe deshacerte de tus antiguos recuerdos porque solo estás empeñado en lograr un objetivo, y sobretodo que en busca de ese objetivo puedes hacerle daño a tus seres más queridos.
Que las clases sociales no deben ser de tanta importancia, porque esas personas de clase social alta tienen más objetos materiales que sentimientos y tienen más preocupación por lo material que por lo verdaderamente importante. Y por último el hecho de que se Mabel (la niña mayor) es la única que se dé cuenta de todo eso, y es porque es un ser inocente que no entiende nada de objetos materiales ni de avaricia ni obsesiones, nos hace entender como irónicamente los adultos tienden a creer que lo saben todo y que creen saber que es lo bueno para sus hijos, más que ellos mismos, cuando no todo el tiempo es así. Los niños solo quieren atención de sus padres, cariño y compañía.
I like from the first story the learning it leaves you with that the obsession with the material can become such that it can literally turn you into one of those things you were so obsessed with; that when you get something you can be blinded by greed and obsession and can make you want more and more each time, until you reach a point where you do not even recognize yourself, you can get to the point that you do not care about getting rid of your old memories because you are only determined to achieve a goal, and above all that in pursuit of that goal you can hurt your loved ones.
That social classes should not be of so much importance, because those people of high social class have more material objects than feelings and are more concerned with the material than with what is really important. And finally, the fact that Mabel (the older girl) is the only one who realizes all this, and it is because she is an innocent being who does not understand anything about material objects or greed or obsessions, makes us understand how ironically adults tend to believe that they know everything and think they know what is good for their children, more than they themselves do, when it is not always like that. Children only want parental attention, affection and companionship.
La segunda historia debo decir que fue la más difícil de analizas pero es porque le agregan una dosis de humor negro a la trama que desvía la atención, sin embargo el mensaje si está presente, debo decir que me encantó desde el principio entender por qué escogieron una rata, lo cual puede ser lo más asqueroso del mundo de ver, pero esta rata vive en una total pulcritud por lo que no es tan desagradable de ver, la casa es completamente tecnológica está súper avanzada desde todo punto de vista ¡luce increíble! debo decir que los detalles de la animación son increíbles desde la laptop, hasta los detalles del inmobiliario ¡todo súper fascinante de admirar!
Todo este grado de pulcritud que demuestran con una paleta de colores muy claros como el blanco y el marfil, haciendo énfasis en detalles costosos como el mármol del piso y las encimera, el acero inoxidable de la cocina, las esculturas de bronce de adorno, y en general todos los acabados de primera, hace un contraste bastante evidente en que en esa casa, con ese grado de pulcritud, innovación y belleza puede haber sido creada por ¡una rata! a la que de hecho le encanta ese grado de pulcritud y ¡odia! a los bichos y la suciedad.
Esta disparidad nos permite entrever que lo que quisieron dar a entender es que es un individuo que alcanzó tal grado de evolución que abandonó todos sus orígenes, él bebe vino, come canapés, usa trajes a la medida, es una persona muy refinada y actualizada, sin embargo todo esto nos permite comprender como el mensaje que quieren dar es que el abandonar su orígenes de esa forma tan severa y tan marcada, porque evidentemente una rata no debería estar rodeada de tanta pulcritud y belleza, es algo que no está bien, y esto es lo que nos hace entender la razón de su ansiedad y su estrés constante, y es en resumen porque abandonó completamente su naturaleza
The second story I must say that it was the most difficult to analyze but it is because they add a dose of black humor to the plot that diverts the attention, however the message is present, I must say that I loved from the beginning to understand why they chose a rat, which can be the most disgusting thing in the world to see, but this rat lives in a total neatness so it is not so unpleasant to see, the house is completely technological is super advanced from every point of view looks amazing! I must say that the details of the animation are incredible from the laptop, to the details of the real estate, all super fascinating to admire!
All this degree of neatness that they show with a palette of very light colors like white and ivory, emphasizing expensive details like the marble floor and countertops, the stainless steel of the kitchen, the bronze sculptures of adornment, and in general all the finishes of first class, makes a quite evident contrast in that house, with that degree of neatness, innovation and beauty may have been created by a rat! who in fact loves that degree of neatness and hates bugs and dirt.
This disparity allows us to glimpse that what they wanted to imply is that he is an individual who reached such a degree of evolution that he abandoned all his origins, he drinks wine, eats canapés, wears tailor-made suits, he is a very refined and updated person, however all this allows us to understand how the message they want to give is that abandoning his origins in such a severe and marked way, because evidently a rat should not be surrounded by so much neatness and beauty, is something that is not right, and this is what makes us understand the reason for his anxiety and constant stress, and it is in short because he completely abandoned his nature.
Es tal el grado de estrés de nuestro personaje que cae en un estado de colapso mental al verse inundado por bichos, que es justamente cuando tiene alucinaciones y en donde está presente el musical bizarro de bichos que les conté al principio jaja, al final vemos un ser que aun cuando odiaba a unos "supuestos" compradores de su casa, justamente porque eran completamente ordinarios y comunes, como ratas normales, lo reciben al regresar del centro de salud después de su colapso emocional y se convierten en su familia; todo esto hace que él vuelva a sus orígenes y alcance su felicidad porque volvió a donde debía estar. ¡Ojo! Esta es una forma de interpretación, porque el final en específico de esta historia, es un bastante ambiguo y de libre interpretación.
La tercera historia es la que a mi parecer tiene más mensajes, el personaje principal (Rosa) parece estar anclada en su pasado, tiene miedo de afrontar el presente y avanzar en su vida, no quiere cambiar sus planes por muy mal que le salen cada vez que intenta reestructurar la casa, ni siquiera nota todo el desastre natural que hay a su alrededor con toda la inundación y que no hay nadie más que ella a muchos kilómetros de distancia, rosa persiste en lograr un sueño que ella tenía hace un tiempo pero la inundación cada día consume más y más su casa y ella no siquiera se da cuenta de eso; es evidente aquí que Rosa solo tiene mucho miedo a lo que hay allá afuera, es decir lo que es visible hasta sus horizontes y no toma en cuenta las recomendaciones de quienes la consideran importante.
Terminamos viendo por fin a un personaje que por fin se libera de sus anclas y decide literalmente volar, liberando todos sus miedos y sus inseguridades y dejando todo el pasado atrás, y, no solo eso, es que ¡además se va con su casa! esta último aspecto me gustó, es como una demostración de que puedes trasladar ese mismo hogar por el que tanto luchaste y con el que tanto soñabas a donde quiera que vayas, solo debes avanzar y confiar. Pero a Rosa ese aprendizaje no le llegó así de fácil, ella por su fuerte personalidad y por su empeño en solo lograr su objetivo, dejó ir a sus únicos acompañantes y solo después que se van, es que nota lo que ellos le dejaron, y era lo que le brindaban todos los días pero ella no quería ver, entonces ciertamente Rosa creció y avanzó pero le costó muchísimo.
Such is the degree of stress of our character that he falls into a state of mental collapse when he is flooded by bugs, which is precisely when he has hallucinations and where the bizarre musical of bugs that I told you at the beginning is present haha, in the end we see a being that even when he hated some "supposed" buyers of his house, precisely because they were completely ordinary and common, like normal rats, they receive him when he returns from the health center after his emotional collapse and become his family; all this makes him return to his origins and achieve his happiness because he is back where he was meant to be. This is a form of interpretation, because the specific ending of this story is quite ambiguous and of free interpretation.
The third story is the one that in my opinion has more messages, the main character (Rosa) seems to be anchored in her past, she is afraid to face the present and move forward in her life, she doesn't want to change her plans no matter how bad they turn out every time she tries to restructure the house, she doesn't even notice all the natural disaster around her with all the flooding and that there is no one else but her many kilometers away, Rosa persists in achieving a dream that she had some time ago but the flooding consumes more and more of her house every day and she doesn't even realize it; it is evident here that Rosa is only very afraid of what is out there, that is to say what is visible to her horizons and she does not take into account the recommendations of those who consider her important.
We end up seeing a character that finally frees herself from her anchors and decides to literally fly, liberating all her fears and insecurities and leaving all the past behind, and, not only that, she also leaves with her home! I liked this last aspect, it's like a demonstration that you can move that same home that you fought so hard for and dreamed of wherever you go, you just have to move forward and trust. Debo decir que además de los mensajes hay muchos detalles a tomar en cuenta en las 3 historias, pero a mí en lo particular me llamaron la atención las siguientes:
Las diferencias en el tipo de animación: la calidad de la animación es distinta en las 3 historias, es más, si lo analizo bien cada animación es acorde al tiempo en el que se desarrollan los hechos, porque podemos ver una evolución marcada en el grado de digitalización y en los detalles de la ambientación y los personajes en cada una de las historias. La primera es una animación muchísimo más antigua, más marcada en las texturas de los personajes, el stop motion es incluso más lento, la segunda es más evolucionada y la tercera es casi una animación como las que vemos comúnmente en la actualidad, pero con mucho resalte de texturas.
Los colores de la ambientación siempre sin querer detallo mucho los colores del ambiente en todas las películas, me encanta como usan el recurso para manipular el estado mental del espectador y dar a entender sus ideas, y es aún más impresionante verlo cuando son 3 historias en una misma película, pero con contrastes tan marcados. En la primera historia se decantaron por colores oscuros que hacen ver la historia como lúgubre con algo de terror y suspenso que resalta toda la trama. En la segunda usan mucho los colores blancos y contrastes fuertes con el negro y el gris para terminar de exponer su idea surrealista e irreverente con doble interpretación bien acordes a la historia. Y finalmente en la tercera predominan los colores pasteles para dar una sensación de falsa tranquilidad o demasiada paz, pero que al integrarla con el ambiente te da una gran sensación de drama, dolor y tristeza.

And finally in the third one, pastel colors predominate to give a sense of false tranquility or too much peace, but when integrated with the environment gives you a great sense of drama, pain and sadness.
Lo bizarro, amo las animaciones con características bizarras y surreales, ya lo he dicho en otro de mis review ¡es algo que me encanta! poder tratar de comprender que quisieron dar a entender con las formas y las características de los personajes que parecen algo desagradable o terrorífico y a veces hasta difíciles de ver, no sé, me parece fascinante como podemos encontrar belleza en esas cosas y como logran encontrar un equilibrio perfecto para que tu psique se acostumbre a lo que ves y no sea completamente desagradable a la vista.
Es una forma de jugar con el aspecto visual y a la vez con la mente del espectador, lo cual amerita de un gran conocimiento psicológico de parte de los creadores para poder alcanzar su objetivo y que la película no sea rechazada, es arriesgarse a tocar la línea de lo que puede llevarlos a hacer un verdadero fracaso, pero aun así arriesgarse porque saben que lo que hicieron ¡está bien! y es por eso, porque saben muy bien desde el punto de vista psicológico lo que hacen y eso demuestra un profundo conocimiento en el área y la falta de miedo a arriesgarse ante lo común.
¡Perdón! de seguro estos son detalles que a nadie le importan jaja, pero ¡a mi sí! porque estoy completamente segura de que, si intercambiaran esos colores entre las historias, solo por ese hecho la interpretación que yo podría darle a cada historia podría ser completamente distinta, por eso hago hincapié en ello aquí y en casi todas mis review en donde sea evidente el detalle del diseño de ambientación y fotografía.
The bizarre, I love animations with bizarre and surreal characteristics, I've already said it in another of my reviews, it's something I love! to try to understand what they wanted to imply with the shapes and characteristics of the characters that seem something unpleasant or terrifying and sometimes even difficult to see, I don't know, I find it fascinating how we can find beauty in these things and how they manage to find a perfect balance so that your psyche gets used to what you see and it's not completely unpleasant to the eye.
It is a way to play with the visual aspect and at the same time with the mind of the viewer, which requires a great psychological knowledge on the part of the creators to achieve their goal and that the film is not rejected, is to risk touching the line of what can lead them to make a real failure, but still risk because they know that what they did is right! and that's why, because they know very well from the psychological point of view what they do and that shows a deep knowledge in the area and lack of fear to risk before the common.
Sorry! for sure these are details that nobody cares about haha, but I do! because I'm completely sure that, if they exchanged those colors between the stories, just for that fact the interpretation that I could give to each story could be completely different, that's why I emphasize it here and in almost all my reviews where the detail of the setting design and photography is evident.
Debo decir que me gustó mucho la película, tal vez evidentemente me hubiera gustado que hubieran sido más largas cada historia y profundizar más en las tramas y en los personajes, pero ¡a mí me gustó lo que hicieron! en el tiempo que tuvieron le dieron inicio y cierre a cada historia y aun cuando eran muy distintas unas de otras ¡si estaban unidas!
La verdad lo que más me gustó del film y es lo que me gusta de este tipo de películas es que nos mantiene unidos al pasado, es como esas películas de Disney que aún las hacen en ese formato de solo dibujos animados sencillos en 2D, es tan hermoso poder admirar desde donde inició todo, y ¡ojo! no es que no me gusten las animaciones de la actualidad, al contrario ¡me encantan! pero siento que la evolución en las distintas formas de arte debe también tener sus etapas de retroceso cada cierto tiempo para recordarles el origen a quienes las ven y que no todo fue así siempre como lo vemos en la actualidad.
Se necesita que la gente en serio aprecie la evolución y el trabajo que han hecho los creadores para poder llevar a la pantalla cada una de esas historia por muy simples que parezcan, no sé ustedes pero yo soy defensora acérrima de que aun cuando un proyecto sea malo hay que resaltar todo el trabajo que hay detrás, pero siento que la gente está tan acostumbrada a la actualidad, que se les olvida todo el trabajo que hay ahí atrás, y piensan erróneamente que solo dando un clic en un teclado se crean todos esos personajes y animaciones en cuestión de segundos cuando la realidad es que son películas que llevan años y años en producir, por eso me molesta un poco cuando una persona hace una crítica tan duramente a un proyecto. Amo destacar todo ese arduo trabajo que hacen todos en la producción de este tipo de películas y en todas las películas en general, sobre todo las de carácter independiente y más en las animaciones de cualquier tipo.
En conclusión, por todo esto que les dije al principio y al final de mi review deben saber que evidentemente la película ¿Me gustó? ¡Por supuesto!, ¿La voy a recomendar? ¡Si! Pero no a los que les tienen fobia a los bichos jajaja, ni tampoco es para niños, es una película para adultos por el contenido oscuro, bizarro y de difícil interpretación, y finalmente: ¡Si la voy a volver a ver otras veces más! porque es de esas películas que cada vez que las vea le voy a encontrar nuevos mensajes y significados.

The truth is what I liked the most about the film and what I like about this kind of movies is that it keeps us linked to the past, it's like those Disney movies that are still made in that format of just simple 2D cartoons, it's so beautiful to be able to admire where it all started, and hey! It's not that I don't like today's animations, on the contrary, I love them! but I feel that the evolution in the different art forms should also have its stages of regression every so often to remind those who see them of their origins and that not everything was always like that as we see it today.
People seriously need to appreciate the evolution and the work that the creators have done to be able to bring to the screen each of these stories no matter how simple they may seem, I don't know about you but I am a staunch advocate that even when a project is bad you have to highlight all the work behind it, but I feel that people are so accustomed to the present, that they forget all the work behind it, and mistakenly think that just by clicking on a keyboard all those characters and animations are created in a matter of seconds when the reality is that they are films that take years and years to produce, that's why it bothers me a little when a person criticizes a project so harshly. I love to highlight all that hard work that everyone does in the production of this kind of films and in all films in general, especially independent films and more in animations of any kind.
In conclusion, for all this I said at the beginning and at the end of my review you should know that obviously I liked the movie, of course, I will recommend it, yes, but not to those who have a phobia of bugs hahaha, nor is it for children, it is a movie for adults because of the dark, bizarre and difficult to interpret content, and finally: I will see it again many more times, because it is one of those movies that every time I see it I will find new messages and meanings.
