Esta serie la empecé a ver fuer por un pequeño fragmento del capítulo 6 que en definitiva me atrajo mucho, sin embargo, en ese entonces todavía no estaba ese gran auge en las redes sociales, así que de inmediato la busque y la descargue, duré aproximadamente 2 días para terminarla, tuve la oportunidad de verla con un amigo, así que el transcurso fue bastante emocionante, una de las cosas que teníamos a favor mi amigo y yo, es que no sabíamos de qué trataba, lo único que tenía como referencia fue el fragmento que vi en Tik tok, por ende no teníamos grandes expectativas agarrándonos de sorpresa la trama.
Confieso que si tuvo un pequeño impacto en mí, pero no lo suficiente para decir que está cerca de ser mi serie favorita, creo que me basto con verla 2 veces, tome en cuenta sus puntos a favor y en contra, en mi opinión personal, sin embargo, si es una serie que de inmediato te atraerá y que te dejara con la curiosidad activa en el transcurso, tiene sus mensajes reflexivos, que sin duda es algo que valoro mucho en una producción cinematográfica. La banda sonora de esta serie me encanto, realmente considero que realizaron muy buen trabajo en esta área ya que cada una de las canciones concuerda muy bien en cada escena, ya sea para trasmitir tensión, nostalgia, ansiedad o incluso miedo a los oyentes.
En el vídeo de arriba les dejo el soundtrack completo de la serie, mientras escribo este post lo he estado escuchando, de alguna forma me ayuda a recordar muchas escenas que me hicieron sentir muchas emociones y todo gracias a la banda sonora, ya que el OST de una producción cinematográfica es sumamente importante, de alguna forma le da vida a las escenas que están cargadas de emociones, claro todo en conjunto, detrás de una buena producción hay gran OST y esta serie en definitiva realizo un buen trabajo en este aspecto .

Personajes.
Una de las cosas que más me gusto y que considero que fue lo que más diferencio de las demás series, fue el elenco de esta producción, cada uno de los personajes fueron claves para que el espectador quedara enganchado, además de aportar mucho de que debatir en cada una de sus historias.
Entre los jugadores tenemos a Kin-hoon, como mencione anteriormente es un hombre que perdió todo después de ser despedido de su trabajo, además de un acontecimiento que tuvo gran impacto en su vida, este personaje está muy bien construido, al principio llegas a despreciarlo por sus acciones pero luego al transcurrir los capítulos llegas a tenerle mucha empatía, desde mi perspectiva este personaje está hecho para que le tomes mucho cariño, pero también para que te frustre mucho por sus acciones equivocadas, entonces estas en ese limbo de no saber si quererlo u odiarlo.
Por otro lado, tenemos a Oh Il-nam es un anciano con un tumor cerebral que prefiere jugar al juego y sentir adrenalina antes de morir, sin embargo, lo que sabemos de este anciano es que tiene una familia y también viene de la clase baja, a este personaje le agarras mucho cariño, tiene una personalidad sabia y divertida, desde mi perspectiva su personaje este hecho para trasmitir lastima y cariño, empatizas muy rápido con este personaje, sin embargo da un giro inesperado.
Kang Sae-byeok es una desertora norcoreana que ingresa al juego para pagarle a un corredor que pueda encontrar y recuperar a los miembros de su familia sobreviviente, esta chica realmente lleva una vida trágica, por lo que llegas a empatizar con su historia, sin embargo, no es de inmediato si no más adelante al trascurrir los capítulos, ya que su personalidad llega a caer un poco pesado, llegara el momento en que sentirás una conexión con su personaje que difícilmente podrás desaparecer.
Ji-yeong, es una joven que acaba de salir de prisión después de un suceso trágico en su familia, no diré mucho de este personaje ya que esta cobra vida es en el capítulo 6, a pesar de ser un personaje secundario, quise agregarlo ya que es un pilar importante en la trama, que todo espectador le sera suficiente con solo ver un capitulo para empatizar con esta chica, ya que su personaje trasmite muchas emociones y mucho en que pensar.
Cho Sang-woo es el jefe de una compañía de valores, el solía ser vecino de Gi-Hun, por lo tanto, viene de una clase baja, hasta que se graduó en una de las universidades más prestigiosa del país, sin embargo, cometió unos delitos financieros y ahora es buscado por la policía por robar el dinero de sus clientes. Este personaje da un giro inesperado, solo puedo decir que empatizas rápido para luego llegar a odiarlo y despreciarlo.

On the other hand, we have Oh Il-nam is an old man with a brain tumor who prefers to play the game and feel adrenaline before dying, however, what we know about this old man is that he has a family and also comes from the lower class, you get very fond of this character, he has a wise and funny personality, from my perspective his character is made to convey pity and affection, you empathize very quickly with this character, however it gives an unexpected twist.
Kang Sae-byeok is a North Korean defector who enters the game to pay a runner who can find and recover the members of her surviving family, this girl really leads a tragic life, so you get to empathize with her story, however, it is not immediately but later as the chapters go by, as her personality comes to fall a little heavy, the time will come when you will feel a connection with her character that you will hardly be able to disappear.
Ji-yeong, is a young girl who has just been released from prison after a tragic event in her family, I will not say much about this character since this comes to life is in chapter 6, despite being a secondary character, I wanted to add it because it is an important pillar in the plot, that any viewer will be enough just to see a chapter to empathize with this girl, as her character conveys many emotions and much to think about.
Cho Sang-woo is the head of a securities company, he used to be Gi-Hun's neighbor, so he comes from a lower class, until he graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in the country, however, he committed some financial crimes and now he is wanted by the police for stealing money from his clients. This character takes an unexpected turn, I can only say that you empathize quickly to then come to hate and despise him.
Abdul Ali is a foreigner from Pakistan who enters the game to support his young family after his employer refuses to pay him for months, Ali you get to grab him so much affection and pity at times, then you will find it hard to fade that connection you had already established with his character, this like the old man, his character is made to have pity and much affection.
I chose these 6 characters because they are really well built to wrap the viewer and have one more reason to continue watching the series, plus they are characters that somehow give an unexpected twist that then you will be surprised, they have a story that moves you, and that awakens your interest to know more about their lives, there are other main characters, but they are there for a single purpose, for example to hate them from the beginning or to meet a specific goal.

Se estarán preguntando porque tanto revuelo por una serie que tiene muchas referencias a otras producciones, algo que se caracteriza esta serie es por la supervivencia, que fácilmente encontramos en producciones como; Los juegos del hambre, Divergente, Maze runner, 3% y en las que más dicen que se parece es una serie famosa también coreana llamada “Alice in borderland” no la he visto, pero leí algo de ella, y sinceramente todas tienen la misma temática, “Juegos y supervivencia” que usualmente se le aplica a la clase baja, para un propósito en específico, y ustedes se preguntaran ¿Qué tiene esta serie de diferente a las demás producciones? Primeramente, todas esas producciones que mencione anteriormente son exitosas, y es por la historia que cuenta y como la cuentan, esa es la diferencia de cada una, la historia detrás de cada personaje, el cómo envuelve al espectador dejándolos hasta el final.
Muchos factores entran en si para distinguirse del resto, entre ellos está, toda la producción que se realiza detrás, ya sea el vestuario, el elenco, la paleta de colores que utilizan, la banda sonora entre otras cosas, todo eso hace única una producción. “El juego del calamar” cumple el objetivo de entretenerte, de envolverte con su trama e historias, te hace pensar en muchas teorías e incluso en los mensajes reflexivo que va dejando en algunos capítulos, sin embargo, lo que hizo que esta serie que sea un gran éxito es la producción que lleva detrás, además del juego macabro que aplican, porque si es por "sangrienta", la película el “El cubo” también es una especia de juego y es súper sangrienta, así que considero yo que la serie está bien construida, lo único malo que podría decir es el final, tiene un final que te hace desear mucho, por un momento pensé que saldría una segunda temporada, pero por lo visto hoy confirmaron que no habrá una segunda parte.
