So I want to take the opportunity to tell you through my favorite movies and series, which is my favorite genre and why I choose this one. So let's start...
Desde pequeña siempre me encanto disfrutar de mi tiempo libre, viendo películas, la mayoría en compañía de mi primo. Pasábamos horas viendo nuestras películas favoritas en VHS, pero también veíamos las que transmitían por televisión. Sin embargo, cuando la tecnología evoluciono y el DVD llegó a nuestras vidas, mi mamá me compro uno, y comenzamos a adquirir en tiendas de video las películas grabadas en formato de CD´s, ¡Que tiempos aquellos!. Recuerdo que tenía un bolso con muchas películas de estas, que aún conservo en algún rincón de mi casa. Aquí pueden verlo ⬇️
Since I was a little girl I always loved to enjoy my free time, watching movies, mostly in the company of my cousin. We would spend hours watching our favorite movies on VHS, but we would also watch the ones that were broadcasted on TV. However, when technology evolved and the DVD came into our lives, my mom bought me one, and we started buying movies recorded on CD's in video stores, What a great time those were. Desde que tengo memoria, mis gustos se han visto inclinados por las películas mágicas, esas que me hacen volar la imaginación y pensar en un mundo donde cualquier cosa puede ser posible. Es decir, películas con historias que rompen con los esquemas de la realidad, con criaturas mitológicas y fantásticas, lugares de en sueño, superhéroes, poderes, castillos, hechiceros, entre otras. Así que mis gustos y preferencias se clasifican en el genero de Fantasía y la Ficción 🦄.
For as long as I can remember, my tastes have been inclined towards magical movies, those that make my imagination fly and make me think of a world where anything can be possible. That is, movies with stories that break with the schemes of reality, with mythological and fantastic creatures, dreamlike places, superheroes, powers, castles, wizards, among others. So my tastes and preferences are classified in the genre of Fantasy and Fiction 🦄.
Cuando me gusta una película o serie puedo pasar horas viéndola, y más si es del genero fantástico, incluso no me cansaría de verlas una y otra vez. Tales como: Harry Potter, El Señor de los Anillos, El Hobbit, Narnia, Piratas del Caribe, Alicia en el País de las Maravillas, entre otras películas de muy buena calidad para mí.
When I like a movie or series I can spend hours watching it, and even more if it is of the fantasy genre, I would not even get tired of watching them over and over again. Such as: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Narnia, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, among other movies of very good quality for me.

Me gusta porque admiro la capacidad de los productores y creadores de estas historias específicamente por su CREATIVIDAD 💡. Estas personas profesionales en cinematografía tienen la capacidad de transmitir sentimientos y emociones a través de su arte. Detrás de cada escena hay un trabajo increíble y una persona que hizo magia con sus manos, para que nosotros los espectadores disfrutáramos.
I like it because I admire the ability of the producers and creators of these stories specifically for their CREATIVITY 💡. These professional cinematographers have the ability to convey feelings and emotions through their art. Behind every scene there is an amazing work and a person who made magic with their hands, for us the viewers to enjoy.
Los guionistas del cine del genero fantástico, hacen de sus ideas, cuentos llenos de héroes, villanos, princesas, brujas y dragones. Hasta inventan idiomas, criaturas, debido a que la imaginación en este genero no tiene limite. Estos nos permiten soñar a través de sus historias, que en muchas ocasiones ofrecen al espectador paisajes insólitos e increíbles.
The scriptwriters of the fantasy genre, make their ideas, stories full of heroes, villains, princesses, witches and dragons. They even invent languages, creatures, because the imagination in this genre has no limit. They allow us to dream through their stories, which in many occasions offer the spectator unusual and incredible landscapes.

Este genero es amplio y es otra de las razones por las que me gusta. Hay mucho que crear aún. Pero la película que marca una referencia en este segmento y una de las mas importante para mí, es El Señor de los Anillos. De esta historia se inspiraron algunos escritores y guionistas del cine, para hacer sus propios libros y películas. A continuación les mostrare algunas de mis películas y series favoritas que pertenecen a este genero.
This genre is broad and that's another reason why I like it. There is still a lot to create. But the movie that marks a reference in this segment and one of the most important for me, is The Lord of the Rings. From this story some movie writers and screenwriters were inspired to make their own books and movies. Next I will show you some of my favorite movies and series that belong to this genre.
