Nowy film w reżyserii Malcolma D. Lee celuje do nowych widzów, którzy zamiast sportu są zafascynowani elektronika.
O ile pierwsza cześć była ciekawie skonstruowana, a bohaterowie interesująco nakresleni a sama nazwa Space Jam miał powód, tak w nowym filmie z 2021 nie ma dosłownie nic, a nazwa jest tylko po to gdyż jest dosyć popularna.
Dziwie się, ze akurat wybór padł na LeBrona Jamesa, gdyż jest dużo ciekawszych koszykarzy, występ w tej produkcji Lebronowi nie wyszedł w ogóle. Filmy rodzine maja to do siebie, ze ukazują pewna przemianę ( mimo ze jest to powielany schemat) tutaj koszykarz gra od początku do końca wściekłego na wszystkich, nie wiemy czy emocje jakie płyną w danym momencie są pozytywne czy negatywne i czy na końcu przeszedł duchowa przemianę, poniewaz nawet na samym końcu zachowuje się podobnie jak na początku.
Film chciał być ukłonem do pierwowzoru, jednak w pewnym momencie zaczyna dziwnie znacząc z kursu tworząc chaos, o ile dla dzieci taki chaos może przypaść do gustu tak starsi mogą poczuć zażenowanie.
Pierwowzór miał ciekawy pomysł na fabule porwanie najlepszego koszykarza Michaela Jordana i mecz w kosmosie gdzie musiał poznać animowane postacie na czele z Królikiem Bugsem, fabuła się rozwijała, a w kulminacyjnym momencie przeciwnicy stali się jeszcze potężniejsi przez co MJ i reszta mieli ciężki mecz. W SJ2 nie ma nic, oprócz postaci animowanych reszta to dziwna hybryda pokazująca, ze liczą się gry i rodzina niż sport .
Ok zgadzam się z tym, jednak tutaj jest to tak skonstruowane, ze mamy wątpliwości, co tak naprawdę się liczy Lebron w filmie gra trochę tyrana, który szkoli swoich synów na koszykarzy, o ile pierwszy szybko nabywa umiejętności, tak ten drugi woli tworzyć specyficzna grę koszykarska ( o ironio) Lebron probuje mu wmówić ze tylko sport może odmienić jego marny los(?) Nagle pewnego dnia nasz główny bohater dostaje zaproszenie do…Warner Bros ( brzmi głupio?)
Gdzie pokazywana jest mu prezentacja Warner 3000 gdzie po zeskanowaniu jego twarzy może zagrać z każdym bohaterem ( brzmi to bardzo przerażająco jak na film dla dzieci) Lebron nie zgadza się jednak sztuczna inteligencja ALGrythm postanawia go zwabić do swojego świata gdyż marzy o… fallowersach i bycie sławnym.

Udaje mu się to i postanawia zrobić mecz gdzie syn Lebrona będzie musiał zmierzyć się przeciwko ojcu w koszykówkę. Sam scenariusz, nie jest zły,głupi owszem ale nie jest tragiczny, największa wada jest tutaj realizacja i pokierowanie aktorami.
Głównego złego gra tutaj Don Cheadle i z czystym sumieniem można rzec ze nominacje do Złotej Maliny ma w garści.
Film cały czas stara się być śmieszny, jednak to nie jest żart skierowany dla dzieci, którzy są największym odbiorca tego filmu, ale do dorosłych gdzie dostajemy Ricka i Morteyego czy plejadę najgorszych przeciwników filmowych kibicujących w czasie meczu w tym Pennywisea.
O ile pierwszy film był ciekawym połączeniem animacji 2D z filmem tak tutaj mamy istny miszmasz od 2D po 3D, przez co odbiór filmu jest dosyć dziwny, całe szczęście ze 3D pojawia się tylko w finale.
Same postacie animowane są fajnie zrobione, widać ze ktoś się tutaj postarał, gorzej natomiast wypadły ich wersje w 3D tutaj wręcz oczy bolą.

Nie będę się rozpisywał na temat różnych kontrowersji związanych z tym filmem, wole skupić się fabule.
Mamy tutaj tez kilka odniesień do pierwowzoru, o ile pojawienie się kosmicznych robali było fajnym ukłonem tak późniejszy żart z Michaelem Jordanem okazał się bardzo słaby i niepotrzebny. W Filmie brakuje tego szaleństwa, niby jest kolorowo, ale zabrakło tutaj czegoś więcej.
Film miał grać na nostalgii, a tylko mocniej pogłębił smutek, ze nikt nie stworzy dobrej 2 części. Spodziewałem się ze będzie to dobry film z nowym pokoleniem koszykarskim, dostałem suchy chleb bez wody.
Po 2 części nie spodziewajmy się prędko kolejnej części, bo niestety mogło być pięknie, ale kiepskie decyzje pogrążyły ten film.
Space Jam 2 nie powinien się nazywać tak bo nawet nie ma sekundy w kosmosie,za to protagonista to zadufany w sobie snob, który poluje na koszykarzy by wygrać z nimi mecz. Swoją droga patrząc na finał to po części osiągnął swój cel, co niestety jeszcze gorzej odbiera się całość produkcji bo chciał popularność i zdobył ja tworząc mecz.

I am surprised that the choice fell on LeBron James, because there are many more interesting basketball players, Lebron's performance in this production did not work out at all.
Family movies have it to themselves that they show a certain change (despite the fact that it is a duplicated pattern) here the basketball player plays angry with everyone from the beginning to the end, we do not know whether the emotions flowing at the moment are positive or negative and whether he has undergone a spiritual transformation because even at the very end it behaves similar to the beginning.

The film wanted to be a tribute to the prototype, but at some point it starts to mark the course of the course, creating chaos, as long as children may like such chaos so the older ones may feel embarrassed.
The prototype had an interesting idea for the plot of the kidnapping of the best basketball player Michael Jordan and a match in space where he had to beetroot animated characters headed by Bugs Bunny, the story unfolded, and at the climax, the opponents became even more powerful and MJ and the rest had a tough game.
There is nothing in SJ2, except for animated characters, the rest are a strange hybrid showing that games and family count rather than sports. Ok, I agree with it, but here it is constructed in such a way that we have doubts what really counts Lebron in the film plays a bit of a tyrant who trains his sons to be basketball players, as long as the former quickly acquires skills, so the latter prefers to create a specific game basketball (ironically) Lebron tries to convince him that only sport can change his poor fate (?)

The script itself is not bad, it is stupid but it is not tragic, the biggest flaw here is the realization and directing the actors.
The main evil is played here by Don Cheadle and with a clear conscience it can be said that the nomination for the Golden Raspberry is in his hand.
The movie tries to be funny all the time, but it is not a joke aimed at children, who are the biggest audience of this movie, but at adults, where we get Rick and Mortey or a galaxy of the worst film opponents cheering during the match, including Pennywise.
While the first film was an interesting combination of 2D animation with a movie, here we have a real mishmash from 2D to 3D, which makes the reception of the film quite strange, fortunately 3D only appears in the finale.
The animated characters themselves are nicely done, you can see that someone tried here, but the 3D versions here even hurt.
I will not elaborate on the various controversies related to this film, I prefer to focus on the plot. We also have a few references to the original here, as long as the appearance of space bugs was a nice nod, so the later joke with Michael Jordan turned out to be very weak and unnecessary.

The film lacks this madness, it is kind of colorful, but something more is missing here. The film was supposed to play on nostalgia, but it only deepened the sadness that no one would create a good 2 part.
I expected it to be a good movie with the new basketball generation, I got dry bread without water. After the second part, let's not expect the next part soon, because unfortunately it could have been beautiful, but poor decisions plunged the film.
Space Jam 2 shouldn't be called that because it's not even a second in space, but the protagonist is a self-righteous snob who hunts basketball players to win the game with them.
By the way, looking at the final, he partially achieved his goal, which, unfortunately, is even worse for the whole production because he wanted popularity and won it by creating a match.
