Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, to be honest I feel excited to make this post because I have never touched the subject of having favorites but logically I have them, I have come to talk about them in the past and if they have been following me for a while it is likely that they have read the respective reviews that I made to each one since they are "The Boys" and "Breaking bad" two very different exponents that I simply found wonderful but I will argue the Why? Without more to add, be prepared since we will have a busy trip in which we will cook methamphetamines and act as heroes of dubious morality.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, para ser sincero me siento emocionado por hacer este post debido a que nunca he tocado el tema de tener favoritos pero lógicamente los tengo, he llegado a hablar de ellas en el pasado y si llevan un tiempo siguiéndome es probable que hayan leído las reseñas respectivas que le hice a cada una puesto que son “The Boys” y “Breaking bad” dos exponentes muy diferentes que sencillamente me parecieron maravillosas pero ya argumentare el ¿Por qué? Sin más que agregar prepárense puesto que tendremos un viaje ocupado en el que vamos a cocinar metanfetaminas y ejercer como héroes de dudosa moralidad.
Before starting I have to highlight 2 very quick things: The first is the fact that both series that I will talk about today I already made a review so I will focus on delving deeper into a deeper analysis and enter into subjectivity, in the same way at the end of the post I will leave you the links in case you want to take a look; The second thing I want to highlight is the fact that I leave aside the animated series and anime since I would like to make a second part of this post having these as protagonists. All that being made clear let's start with this at once because I'm extending myself more than I should.
Antes de comenzar he de destacar 2 cosas muy rápidas: La primera es el hecho de que a ambas series de las que hablare hoy ya les hice una reseña por lo que me enfocare en ahondar más en un análisis más profundo e introducirme en la subjetividad, de igual forma al final del post les dejaré los links por si quieren echarles un vistazo; Lo segundo que quiero destacar es el hecho de que deje de lado las series animadas y los animes puesto que me gustaría hacer una segunda parte de este post teniendo a estas como protagonistas. Dejado todo claro empecemos con esto de una vez pues estoy extendiéndome más de lo que debería.
Since I was a child I have liked super heroes from their powers to the memorable ideals that some have as the well-known "A great power carries a great responsibility" However as I grew and matured these stories that captured the heroes as impeccable figures began to tire me because of how repetitive they were and it was here when I discovered "The Boys" a series that presents the supers in a unique way and with great number of defects. The world it poses to us for these powerful humans is very peculiar due to the fact that they are treated more like superstars to whom their reputation is their most precious asset and is what can determine their status in a society where they idolize heroes.
Desde niño me han gustado los súper héroes desde sus poderes hasta los ideales tan memorables que algunos tienen como el tan conocido “Un gran poder conlleva una gran responsabilidad” Sin embargo al crecer y madurar estas historias que plasmaban los héroes como figuras intachables empezaban a cansarme por lo repetitivas que eran y fue aquí cuando descubrí a “The Boys” una serie que presenta a los súpers de una forma única y con gran cantidad de defectos. El mundo que nos plantea para estos poderosos humanos es muy peculiar debido al hecho de que son tratados más como súper estrellas a las que su reputación es su bien más preciado y es lo que puede determinar su estatus en una sociedad en donde idolatran a los héroes.
Without a doubt what I liked most about the series is the fact that everyone must maintain an impeccable appearance in the eyes of people but each one has their own addictions and problems that consume them, you can even notice how some are sick self-centered who only yearn to be worshipped as gods and having a zero appreciation for people. All this that I mention is touched from chapter 1 being that the series from the go establishes that some of these super beings can become time bombs due to how unstable they can be mentally.
Sin duda alguna lo que más me gusto de la serie es el hecho de como todos deben mantener una apariencia intachable a los ojos de la gente pero cada uno tiene sus propias adicciones y problemas que los consumen, incluso puede notarse el cómo algunos son unos egocéntricos enfermos que solo anhelan el ser adorados como dioses y teniendo un nulo aprecio por las personas. Todo esto que les menciono es tocado desde el capítulo 1 siendo que la serie desde el vamos establece que algunos de estos súper seres pueden llegar a ser bombas de tiempo debido a lo inestable que pueden ser mentalmente.
The small group that opposes the super is not far behind in terms of being interesting since they have their own problems and limitations, from the fact of feeling powerless when facing super beings against whom they are unlikely to succeed, to discrepancies in the team for having different perspectives on what to do against their super problem; all these complications derive from how complex it is for them to face them since it involves a lot of preparation, many failures and frustrations. My favorite character is Hughie without a doubt since he is the one who is much more realistic than the others, he constantly doubts if his revenge is worth it, he is afraid and helpless product of the titanic battle he fights against a much more powerful enemy, all this makes him a very plausible human and that is why I like him so much as a character.
El pequeño grupo que se opone a los súper no se queda atrás en cuanto a ser interesante puesto que estos poseen sus propios problemas y limitaciones, desde el hecho de sentirse impotentes a la hora de enfrentarse a súper seres contra los cuáles tienen pocas probabilidades de tener éxito, hasta discrepancias en el equipo por tener diferentes perspectivas sobre qué hacer contra su súper problema; todas estas complicaciones derivan de lo complejo que es para ellos enfrentarlos puesto que conlleva mucha preparación, muchos fallos y frustraciones. Mi personaje favorito es Hughie sin duda puesto que es el que se muestra mucho más realista que los demás, constantemente duda si su venganza vale la pena, tiene miedo e impotencia producto de la titánica batalla que libra contra un enemigo muchísimo más poderoso, todo esto lo hace un humano muy plausible y es por ello que me gusta tanto como personaje.
What I like most about the series is its unbridled action and the different brutal deaths that it constantly shows, since many of these are involuntary and caused by the negligence of the heroes which gives a certain air of grotesque humor to the series. Honestly I have nothing bad to mention about the series and it is not because it is perfect but because to date it has only 2 seasons so it has me waiting for how it will develop the different interesting concepts it raises.
Lo que más me gusto de la serie es su acción desenfrenada y las diferentes muertes brutales que muestra constantemente, puesto que muchas de estas son involuntarias y causadas por negligencia de los héroes lo que le da cierto aire de humor grotesco a la serie. Sinceramente no tengo nada malo que mencionar de la serie y no es por el hecho de que sea perfecta sino porque a la fecha cuenta apenas con 2 temporadas por lo que me tiene a la expectativa de como desarrollara los diferentes conceptos interesantes que plantea.
We took off the cape and the hero costume to put on a protective suit against chemicals, Breaking Bad is one of those series that have a slow start, an idiotic protagonist and a very noble goal, to be honest when I started watching it I was about to abandon it because its first episodes became somewhat boring but thanks to everything that is good I kept watching it and I was amazed about how everything converged to generate something simply unique.
Nos quitamos la capa y el traje de héroe para ponernos un traje de protección contra los químicos, Breaking Bad es una de esas series que tienen un inicio lento, un protagonista idiota y un objetivo muy noble, para serles sincero cuando comencé a verla estuve a punto de abandonarla debido a que sus primeros episodios se tornaban algo aburridos pero gracias a todo lo que es bueno seguí viéndola y quede maravillado sobre el cómo convergió todo para generar algo sencillamente único.
Walter is the typical average man with a disgusting job for which he is overqualified, which gives him an income so poor that he deserves to have another job to miraculously cover all the expenses of the house, with a pregnant wife and a disabled son the life of this poor devil is not easy but is about to get worse when they discover a terrible cancer that will make him turn his back on him. to his integrity to guarantee a future without inconveniences to his family, that is why he can not think of another way to leave a good amount of money to his family and is manufacturing methamphetamines and thus prevent them from going through difficulties when he dies.
Walter es el típico hombre promedio con un trabajo asqueroso para el que esta sobrecalificado, que le da un ingreso tan pobre que amerita tener otro trabajo para lograr cubrir de forma milagrosas todos los gastos de la casa, con una esposa embarazada y un hijo discapacitado la vida de este pobre diablo no es nada sencilla pero está a punto de empeorar cuando le descubran un terrible cáncer que lo hará darle la espalda a su integridad para garantizarle un futuro sin inconvenientes a su familia, es por ello que no se le ocurre otra forma de dejarle buena cantidad de dinero a su familia y es fabricando metanfetaminas y así evitar que atraviesen dificultades cuando este muera.
I gave them a brief introduction but it's time to get serious and talk about Why is it one of the best series? Simple, this is mostly due to the characters who possess one of the best developments I have ever seen, Walter begins to gradually forget his noble goal when he is drunk with power and the prestige he begins to get in the underworlds, Jesse Pinkman only manages to hurt from the beginning due to all the terrible moments he goes through, the way he is manipulated and treated like a dog provokes the purest empathy for him, and leaves the viewer simply wishing that he achieves his own catharsis in order to have a quiet life since he is the character who suffers countless tragedies the most; Finally I will highlight Skyler Walter's wife who is undoubtedly a complete bitch, a maniac of control who begins to lose her temper when she constantly stops knowing the whereabouts of her husband, has a double standard to criticize others while she also does deplorable things.
Les di una breve introducción pero toca ponerse serios y hablar del ¿Por qué es una de las mejores series? Sencillo, esto es debido mayormente a los personajes que poseen uno de los mejores desarrollos que he visto, Walter comienza a olvidar paulatinamente su noble objetivo al verse embriagado de poder y del prestigio que comienza a conseguir en los bajos mundos, Jesse Pinkman solo logra dar lastima desde el principio debido a todos los terribles momentos que atraviesa, el cómo es manipulado y tratado como un perro provoca la más pura empatía por este, y deja al espectador simplemente deseando que logre su propia catarsis para poder tener una vida tranquila puesto que es el personaje que más sufre incontables tragedias; por último destacare a Skyler la esposa de Walter que es sin lugar a dudas una completa perra, una maniática del control que empieza a perder los estribos cuando deja de saber constantemente el paradero de su esposo, tiene una doble moral para criticar a los demás mientras ella hace también cosas deplorables.
Just talk about these 3 characters since they are the ones who are best developed and characterized in such an excellent way that it is impossible not to feel something for them good or bad, it is even inevitable to put yourself in their place to ask yourself how would you react in that situation? Is this character's action justified? Do you deserve what happens to you? These are questions that arise throughout this series. In case it is not clear my favorite character is poor Jesse, it is easy to get attached to him because of his idiotic and highly comical and disrespectful attitude, in turn he is the one who shows a more beautiful development since he shows a simply amazing change when maturing, taking responsibility and understanding that life can be pleasant and wonderful to be with the right people, as a plus to all this is added the fluctuating relationship he has with Walter which makes him even more interesting.
Solo hable de estos 3 personajes puesto que son los que están mejor desarrollados y caracterizados de una forma tan excelente que es imposible no sentir algo por ellos bien sea bueno o malo, incluso es inevitable el hecho de ponerse en su lugar para preguntarse ¿Cómo reaccionaría en esa situación? ¿Es justificado la acción de este personaje? ¿Merece lo que le pasa? Son preguntas que surgen a lo largo de esta serie. Por si no quedo claro mi personaje favorito es el pobre Jesse, es fácil encariñarse con el debido a su actitud de idiota y altamente cómica e irrespetuosa, a su vez es el que muestra un desarrollo más lindo puesto que muestra un cambio simplemente asombroso al madurar, asumir responsabilidades y entender que la vida puede ser agradable y maravillosa al estar con las personas correctas, como un plus a todo esto se le suma la relación tan fluctuante que tiene con Walter lo que lo hace aún más interesante.
Without a doubt, the most remarkable thing about the series is the powerful message it has. As with the characters it is a concept that makes you reflect and that is what I love about the series, which subtly poses to the viewer different questions that remain in the mind to be debated in a deep reflection. The plot evolves and everything it presents is mostly due to the decisions made by the characters being that nothing feels taken out of the sleeve, this plausibility of events is maintained until the end of the series where everything happens for a reason. The series leaves an extremely interesting message and it is the fact that repressed demons can rot the noble feats to turn them into something deplorable and make it something worse and worse.
Sin duda alguna lo más destacable de la serie es el mensaje tan potente que tiene ¿El fin justifica los medios? Así como con los personajes es un concepto que hace reflexionar y eso es lo que me encanta de la serie, que le plantea sutilmente al espectador diferentes cuestiones que quedan en la mente para ser debatidos en una profunda reflexión. La trama evoluciona y todo lo que presenta es mayormente debido a las decisiones tomadas por los personajes siendo que nada se siente sacado de la manga, esta plausibilidad de los eventos se mantiene hasta el final de la serie en donde todo sucede por una razón. La serie deja un mensaje sumamente interesante y es el hecho de que los demonios reprimidos pueden podrir las nobles hazañas para convertirlas en algo deplorable y volverlo algo cada vez peor.
