Welcome dear internet travelers lovers of retro and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in another of my post, there are few films of which I have wanted to see and for meaningless reasons I have not been able to see them from beginning to end, this was exactly what happened to me with the tape "Forrest Gump" so I proposed to look at it in its entirety to make a review. Without further ado, get ready to go and help Lieutenant Dan that we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet amantes de lo retro y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en otro de mis post, hay pocos filmes de los cuales he tenido ganas de ver y por razones sin sentido no las he podido ver de principio a fin, esto era exactamente lo que me pasaba con la cinta "Forrest Gump" por lo que me propuse mirarla en su totalidad para hacerle una reseña. Sin más que agregar prepárense para ir a ayudar al teniente Dan que estamos por comenzar.
Forrest Gump was released in 1994, is based on the homonymous novel written by Winston Groom, directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Paramount Pictures, has a duration of 2 hours and 22 minutes. It is a story of comedy and drama, the story revolves around Forrest Gump a man with a mental retardation who has had a very interesting life and despite his condition has not allowed that to put limits, being that thanks to his good heart and commitment has been involved in great historical events of his country, Despite all the roller coaster that has been his life he has always been interested in the same girl since he was a child, always giving priority above all things except for his mother, being that love for both will be one of the reasons that will lead him to have many adventures.

Es una historia de comedia y drama, la historia gira en torno a Forrest Gump un hombre con un retraso mental el cual ha tenido una vida muy interesante y que pese a su condición no ha permitido que eso le ponga límites, siendo que gracias a su buen corazón y compromiso ha estado involucrado en grandes eventos históricos de su país, pese a toda la montaña rusa que ha sido su vida siempre ha estado interesado en la misma chica desde que era niño, dándole siempre prioridad por sobre todas las cosas a excepción de su madre, siendo que el amor por ambas será una de las razones que lo llevará a tener muchas aventuras.

The soundtrack is somewhat pleasant, it serves as a good remarkable accompaniment for the various moments presented, nothing too exaggerated or memorable just good music.
La banda sonora es algo agradable, funge como un buen acompañamiento destacable para los diversos momentos presentados, nada demasiado exagerado o memorable solo unas buenas músicas.
The construction of the world is very pleasant because it is used effectively to give information either of various events or as an element to show the passage of time in a simple way, even if the 2 points mentioned above were ignored, the setting is still interesting since many elements of the context are loaded with very marked emotional moments which give relevance to these locations making them something more relevant.
La construcción de mundo es muy agradable debido a que se utiliza de forma efectiva para dar información bien sea de diversos sucesos o como elemento para mostrar el paso del tiempo de forma sencilla, aun si se obviasen los 2 puntos antes mencionados la ambientación sigue siendo interesante puesto que muchos elementos del contexto se encuentran cargados de momentos emocionales muy marcados los cuales le dan relevancia a dichas locaciones haciéndolas algo más relevante.
The plot is loaded with a lot of drama that is very well balanced with the simple comedy it handles, has a considerable duration of which manages to make every second interesting, its narrative is consistent and exposes how the protagonist's life has been, everything he has done and why his actions, All this is interesting since there is a pleasant contrast of the raw and horrible events with his innocent personality. The greatest success of this is the fact that it can fit in a good way absurd situations with serious and historical elements in a very organic way which demonstrates the ingenuity behind the plot. In general, the narrative is a recounting of many of the historical events of the United States from the perspective of a man with the purity of a child in which he must face all the dark and deplorable that the world can be, being a quite intelligent premise wherever you look.
La trama se encuentra cargada de mucho drama que se encuentra muy bien equilibrado con la comedia sencilla que maneja, posee una duración considerable de la cual logra hacer que cada segundo sea interesante, su narrativa es consecuente y va exponiendo como ha sido la vida del protagonista, todo lo que ha hecho y el porqué de sus acciones, todo esto es interesante puesto que se da un contraste agradable de los sucesos crudos y horribles con su personalidad tan inocente. El mayor acierto de esta es el hecho de que pueda encajar de buena forma situaciones absurdas con elementos serios e históricos de una forma muy orgánica lo que demuestra el ingenio que hay detrás de la trama. En general la narrativa es un recuento de muchos de los sucesos históricos de los Estados Unidos desde la perspectiva de un hombre con la pureza de un niño en la que deberá hacer frente a todo lo oscuro y deplorable que puede ser el mundo, siendo una premisa bastante inteligente se mire por donde se mire.
It is impossible not to get attached to Forrest, his life is plagued by misfortunes and misfortunes although despite this he moves forward, one might think that misfortunes constantly besiege him but many of the things that happen to him feel truthful being the only difference the attitude he has to face them. Jenny is another interesting character, it contrasts very well with the protagonist because she is aware that the world is cruel and unpleasant being that since childhood she knew about it, the thing is that she does not have the same purity of Forrest to face all those misfortunes and chooses a totally opposite path with many consequences; the way he relates to Forrest is extremely toxic, however this is a success because we are talking about a union of someone damaged who has not faced his demons and someone with little intelligence and lack of malice. Apart from them there are very characteristic and unforgettable characters such as Lieutenant Dan and Bubba which add very pleasant moments to the film.
Es imposible no encariñarse con Forrest, su vida se encuentra plagada de desgracias y desventuras aunque pese a ello sigue adelante, uno podría pensar que le asedian constantemente las desgracias pero muchas de las cosas que le pasan se sienten veraces siendo la única diferencia la actitud que este tiene para afrontarlas. Jenny es otro personaje interesante, la misma contrasta de muy buena forma con el protagonista debido a que está si es consciente de que el mundo es cruel y desagradable siendo que desde pequeña sabía de ello, la cosa es que no tiene la misma pureza de Forrest para afrontar todas esas desgracias y elige un camino totalmente opuesto con muchas consecuencias; la forma en que se relaciona con Forrest es sumamente tóxica, sin embargo esto es un acierto debido a que hablamos de una unión de alguien dañada que no ha enfrentado a sus demonios y de alguien con poca inteligencia y carencia de malicia. Aparte de ellos hay personajes muy característicos e inolvidables como el teniente Dan y Bubba los cuales le agregan momentos muy agradables al filme.
Forrest Gump is one of those classics that deserves the title of cult film, touches interesting and serious issues in a unique way without taking away the importance of them, all this is accompanied by extremely endearing characters which make the film a completely satisfactory experience. That is why it deserves 5.5 stars out of 7, without a doubt one of the best Tom Hanks films and one of the most enjoyable films he has seen in a long time.
Forrest Gump es uno de esos clásicos que merece el título de filme de culto, toca temas interesantes y serios de una forma única sin quitarles la importancia a los mismos, todo esto va acompañado de personajes sumamente entrañables los cuales hacen de la cinta una experiencia completamente satisfactoria. Es por ello que merece 5.5 estrellas de 7, sin lugar a dudas una de las mejores películas de Tom Hanks y una de las cintas más disfrutable que haya visto en mucho tiempo.
