Los Hijos de la calle es una película algo vieja, Netflix la coloca en su catalogo para tener una variedad de elección y no solo elegir estrenos y películas recientes, dándonos la oportunidad de poder ver clásicos del cine. Desde los primeros minutos la película me atrajo completamente, el estilo de vida de los protagonistas y su forma de pensar, no de la manera ilegal sino de ver su pequeño mundo.
La historia empieza a empinarse cuando son enviados al reformatorio, donde cualquiera puede esperarse que sean golpeados y amenazados, pero no de la manera en que lo hacen, dándonos una historia que no sabemos a que rumbo puede ir. Constantemente, al menos unas dos o tres veces hablan del libro El conde de Montecristo, dándonos una pista de que así puede acabar las cosas para estos muchachos, pero aun sabiendo como puede ir, debemos esperar a ver el verdadero resultado.
Es una historia que nos muestra que hay personas dedicadas cuando se trata de la venganza, y que el perdón solo lo puede dar Dios, aunque la película puede extenderse demasiado, los acontecimientos de la historia van siendo más necesarios aun, para darle un buen cierre, un descanso a todo lo que pasaron esos cuatro chicos en el reformatorio. Siendo esta una adaptación de un libro, cuenta con una duración de más de dos horas, disponible en la plataforma de Netflix.
