This is a new section where I will make fun of some things in the movies that may seem absurd to me outside of fiction, I will talk about the scenes in which I paused to look at the imaginary camera around me to say "Really?" I'm not saying it's a bad movie, just that there are many with these scenes where it seems that they just want to fill in or did not fully think about the story. It's just kidding, nothing is serious.
Debo admitir que me vi esta película solo por la curiosidad que me daba saber quien ganaría entre los dos, aunque desde el momento cero he sido equipo Godzilla, es obvio que ganaría con todo el poder que tiene encima, pero aun así, decidieron sacar una película sobre esta pelea, diciendo incluso que uno de los dos realmente moriría, así que me tome el tiempo de verla. La película es, como la mayoría de películas comerciales, se toman su tiempo para contar la historia que ni es profunda ni deja un mensaje, donde el final es tan simple que parece que nada de lo que paso fuese sido necesario; como cualquiera de rápidos y furiosos.
La ficción toma tanta participación en la película que olvidan colocar algo de lógica para que termine de dar una buena impresión, como naves voladoras diseñadas para adaptarse a los cambios gravitacionales que no usan siquiera hélices y que cualquiera puede manejarlas, niños entrando a una empresa de tecnología que se encarga de la seguridad de las personas y en ningún momento son atrapados sino hasta el final, una batalla épica en una ciudad llena de personas que murieron por el simple hecho de que Godzilla y Kong estuviesen allí, y nadie dice nada.
La película es solo fantasía, se puede esperar que cualquier cosa pase sin ser necesario o en serio, un hacha mágica que soporte un aliento atómico, una piedra que le da vida propia a las maquinas, un agujero hecho desde Hong Kong hasta el centro de la tierra como un daño colateral, ya saben, cosas entretenidas. El objetivo del "villano" de la película no es más que el mismo objetivo de los gobiernos actuales si los titanes fuesen reales, buscar una forma de matarlos en el caso de que nos ataquen de nuevo y no muera tanta gente, pero los protagonistas son solo personas que buscan lo políticamente correcto, que quieren preservar esas especies en extinción como un tesoro sin importar que si llegan a estar cerca de su ciudad o país, sufran grandes perdidas.
La fantasía se me es necesaria en muchas ocasiones, pero cuando es excesivo crea un vacío en la película que si decides dejarla a la mitad no te perderías de mucho porque puedes sacar suposiciones. Godzilla vs Kong pudo ser algo más crudo, donde en verdad uno de los dos perdiera, que su rivalidad fuese por algo en serio, que los humanos pensaran en una forma de enfrentarlos sin tener perdidas y no solo por verse geniales creando una maquina que podría darle energía a todo un condado por una semana. Leí una reseña de un escritor del Empire que dice "Básicamente cumple su promesa de ser un gran monstruo luchando contra otro gran monstruo. Solo depende de si estás dispuesto a soportar lo mal hecho que está todo lo que lo rodea" y tienes razón John Nugent, tienes razón.

I must admit that I saw this movie just because of the curiosity that it gave me to know who would win between the two, although from the moment zero I have been a Godzilla team, it is obvious that it would win with all the power that has over it, but even so, they decided to take one movie about this fight, even saying that one of the two would actually die, so I took the time to watch it. The film is, like most commercial films, they take their time to tell the story that is neither deep nor does it leave a message, where the ending is so simple that it seems that nothing that happened was necessary; like any of the fast and furious.
Fiction takes so much participation in the film that they forget to put in some logic so that it ends up making a good impression, like flying ships designed to adapt to gravitational changes that do not even use propellers and that anyone can handle them, children entering a company of technology that takes care of people's safety and in no time are they caught until the very end, an epic battle in a city full of people who died for the simple fact that Godzilla and Kong were there, and nobody says anything.
The movie is just fantasy, you can expect anything to happen without being necessary or seriously, a magic axe that supports an atomic breath, a stone that gives machines its own life, a hole made from Hong Kong to the center of earth as collateral damage, you know, entertaining stuff. The objective of the "villain" of the film is nothing more than the same objective of the current governments if the titans were real, to find a way to kill them in the event that they attack us again and not so many people die, but the protagonists are only people who seek the politically correct, who want to preserve these endangered species as a treasure no matter that if they come close to their city or country, they suffer great losses.
Fantasy is necessary to me on many occasions, but when it is excessive it creates a void in the film that if you decide to leave it in the middle you would not miss much because you can make assumptions. Godzilla vs Kong could be something more crude, where in truth one of the two lost, that their rivalry was for something serious, that humans thought of a way to face them without having losses and not only for looking great creating a machine that could power an entire county for a week. I read a review from an Empire writer that says "Basically he keeps his promise to be a great monster by fighting another great monster. La película es entretenida, dura casi dos horas y el comienzo puede ser algo lenta, pero no me quejo del todo, como dije en un principio, no es una reseña en serio, sé que este estilo de películas son así porque solo buscan entretener, y lo hacen, pero hay muchas así que hasta considere abrir esta sección donde comento partes absurdas de las películas, y lo hare.
