Hola Hivers amantes de las películas y series, hace algunos días estando con unos amigos me recomendaron ver esta película, son personas que ciertamente conocen algunos de mis gustos y que estaban seguros de que esta producción me parecería interesante, he decidido verla e inmediatamente escribir mi reseña. En este post realizaré un análisis de esta producción y le otorgaré una puntuación según mi valoración personal, por lo cual al final de la lectura sabrán si a esos amigos les envié un mensaje de agradecimiento o si por el contrario termino insultándoles, ¡Momento de Comenzar!.
Esta es una película estrenada en el año 2020, es una producción que puede catalogarse en diferentes géneros del cine, sin embargo, se podría decir que es una historia donde se sobrepone el suspenso pero que al mismo tiempo podemos catalogarlo dentro de la categoría de ciencia ficción. Desde mi punto de vista esta es un film que encaja a la perfección en el género de Thriller, género que busca otorgar de emociones como incertidumbre, sorpresa y emoción al espectador, esta película lo hace de buena manera ejecutando una historia bastante interesante.
Sinopsis
Cecilia Kass es una mujer que desea separarse de su cruel y manipulador esposo, al zafarse de esta pesadilla en un muy ingenioso escape logra enterarse luego de unas semanas de que su esposo se quitó la vida, sin embargo, comenzará a observar eventos extraños a su alrededor, dudará de la muerte de su esposo y comenzará a sospechar que todavía la observa incluso dentro de la habitación. Aunque no puede explicar lo que no se puede ver intentará luchar por mantenerse no solo con vida sino también cuerda para salvar la vida de los que la rodean.
Análisis de la Película
Historia
Me gusta comenzar analizando la historia de la película por que en la mayoría de casos la curiosidad que trasmite el poster, el tráiler o a sinopsis es lo que impulsa al espectador a ver una película. En este caso observamos ciertamente una historia de ciencia ficción más que en el género de horror tradicional, si bien existe bastante suspenso los eventos que ocurren a lo largo de este film no son productos de hechos paranormales.
La historia contempla aspectos bastante interesantes para el espectador, por lo general el ser humano tiene miedo de lo que no conoce y en ese sentido la vista es uno de los sentidos en los cuales mas confiamos, por lo cual no poder ver algo que puede asesinarlo producirá ciertamente un sentido de angustia dentro del espectador. Si bien esto es trasmitido por las películas de terror tradicionales a esta historia le sumamos una de las grandes fantasías más apasionantes de la humanidad en cuanto a ciencia ficción, la invisibilidad. Tal vez podríamos imaginarnos una pequeña parte de todo lo que puede hacer una persona siendo invisible pero al mismo tiempo sentir una sensación escalofriante si resulta que es un asesino o psicópata el que visible para el ojo humano, indudablemente son aspectos que captan la atención del espectador desde el inicio.
Si bien no es nueva esta historia y conocemos algunas producciones que hacen referencia a la invisibilidad, el argumento en esta producción le otorga ese toque de personalidad que siempre queremos ver en las producciones, la narrativa o la manera en que la trama nos cuenta esta historia es algo que entretiene durante los 124 minutos de duración de esta película.
Es una producción muy directa y no pierde tiempo en subtramas innecesarias, lleva a mi parecer el ritmo adecuado yendo de menos a más al transcurrir los minutos, si bien en un principio el ritmo más lento al acercarse a la fase final de la producción notamos un cambio importante en las dinámicas de las escenas otorgándole a la película momentos emocionantes con algo de acción sin salirse de la sincronía o de la coherencia de la narrativa, por lo cual notamos una buena estructura alrededor de esta producción que si bien no tiene muchas sorpresas o giros significativos en la trama otorga buen entretenimiento al espectador.
Actuación
Definitivamente no se puede pasar por alto la actuación de Elisabeth Moss, a mi parecer esta actuación hace resaltar toda la película, su interpretación de Cecilia Kass es magnífica, trasmite las emociones correctamente y hace que el espectador viva en carne propia las diferentes situaciones que nos muestra la producción.
Desde la primera aparición en cámaras nos otorga una buena actuación, en una escena donde se puede cortar la tensión con un cuchillo. Posteriormente nos muestra a una mujer violentada y maltratada por su esposo tanto física como psicológicamente, trasmitiendo esas emociones que sobresalen de la pantalla y llegan al espectador.
Hay escenas en las cuales parece estar al borde de la locura, las mismas son interpretadas magistralmente por esta actriz estadounidense, me sorprendió en las escenas en la que está recluida en una clínica psiquiátrica ya llegando al borde de su capacidad mental, la mirada en su rostro y sus expresiones son significativas para entender la situación psicológica del personaje.
Esta actuación le da una esencia única a la película, resaltando un tema polémico como lo es la violencia de género, Elisabeth Moss realiza un trabajo estupendo a mi juicio y en definitiva es de los aspectos más resaltantes de toda la producción.
El Final
El final me parece excelente y adecuado a mi parecer, mostrando no solo el final de las escenas de la película sino también un giro importante en la psicología del personaje principal la cual estaría superando los traumas del pasado pero al mismo tiempo sintiendo deseos carnales tan humanos como la venganza.
Efectos visuales
Me parece que la producción tiene muy buenos efectos visuales pero al mismo tiempo no son exagerados o quedando fuera de lugar, son los necesarios para otorgarle emoción a la trama, todo acompañado por un muy buen trabajo de cámaras y de fotografía otorgando así una muy buena calidad visual.

Opinión Final
Es una película entretenida, con un buen suspenso que por momento se puede cortar en el ambiente, intriga y una narrativa correcta en sus argumentos, complementado por un excelente trabajo de actuación que impacta al espectador. La película posee muy buenas escenas tocando la puerta del género de terror, a pesar de tener una duración de poco más de dos horas vale la pena verla.
¿La Recomiendo?
Si, indudablemente a gran parte del público en general le parecerá una muy buena producción, sobre todo si se es fan del género de suspenso. Es de esas películas que podemos utilizar para verla con amigos en una tarde sabiendo que la mayoría les parecerá una interesante historia la cual es desarrollada de muy buena manera.

This is a movie released in the year 2020, it is a production that can be cataloged in different genres of cinema, however, it could be said that it is a story where suspense is superimposed but at the same time we can catalog it within the category of science fiction. From my point of view this is a film that fits perfectly in the genre of Thriller, a genre that seeks to give emotions such as uncertainty, surprise and excitement to the viewer, this film does it in a good way executing a very interesting story.
Synopsis
Cecilia Kass is a woman who wants to separate from her cruel and manipulative husband, to escape from this nightmare in a very ingenious escape manages to find out after a few weeks that her husband took his life, however, begin to observe strange events around her, she will doubt the death of her husband and begin to suspect that still watching her even inside the room. Although she cannot explain what cannot be seen she will try to fight to keep herself not only alive but also sane to save the lives of those around her.

Story
I like to start by analyzing the story of the film because in most cases the curiosity conveyed by the poster, the trailer or the synopsis is what drives the viewer to watch a movie. In this case we certainly observe a science fiction story rather than in the traditional horror genre, although there is enough suspense the events that occur throughout this film are not products of paranormal events.
The story contemplates quite interesting aspects for the viewer, generally human beings are afraid of what they do not know and in that sense sight is one of the senses in which we trust the most, so not being able to see something that can kill you will certainly produce a sense of anguish within the viewer. While this is conveyed by traditional horror films, to this story we add one of the most exciting fantasies of mankind in terms of science fiction, invisibility. Perhaps we could imagine a small part of all that a person can do being invisible but at the same time feel a chilling sensation if it turns out to be a murderer or psychopath who is visible to the human eye, undoubtedly these are aspects that capture the viewer's attention from the beginning.
While this story is not new and we know some productions that make reference to invisibility, the plot in this production gives it that touch of personality that we always want to see in productions, the narrative or the way in which the plot tells us this story is something that entertains during the 124 minutes of duration of this film.
It is a very direct production and does not waste time in unnecessary subplots, in my opinion it has the right pace going from less to more as the minutes go by, although at the beginning the pace is slower when approaching the final phase of the production we notice an important change in the dynamics of the scenes giving the film exciting moments with some action without going out of sync or coherence of the narrative, Therefore, we notice a good structure around this production that although it does not have many surprises or significant twists in the plot, it provides good entertainment to the viewer.
Performance
Definitely the performance of Elisabeth Moss cannot be overlooked, in my opinion this performance makes the whole film stand out, her interpretation of Cecilia Kass is magnificent, she transmits the emotions correctly and makes the viewer live in the flesh the different situations that the production shows us.
From the first appearance on camera she gives us a good performance, in a scene where you can cut the tension with a knife. Later she shows us a woman abused and mistreated by her husband both physically and psychologically, transmitting those emotions that stand out from the screen and reach the viewer.
There are scenes in which she seems to be on the verge of madness, the same are masterfully interpreted by this American actress, she surprised me in the scenes in which she is confined in a psychiatric clinic already reaching the edge of her mental capacity, the look on her face and her expressions are significant to understand the psychological situation of the character.
This performance gives a unique essence to the film, highlighting a controversial issue such as gender violence, Elisabeth Moss does a great job in my opinion and ultimately is one of the highlights of the entire production.
The Ending
The ending seems excellent and appropriate in my opinion, showing not only the end of the scenes of the film but also an important twist in the psychology of the main character which would be overcoming the traumas of the past but at the same time feeling carnal desires as human as revenge.
Visual effects
It seems to me that the production has very good visual effects but at the same time they are not exaggerated or out of place, they are necessary to give emotion to the plot, all accompanied by a very good camera work and photography giving a very good visual quality.

It is an entertaining film, with a good suspense that at times can be cut in the environment, intrigue and a correct narrative in their arguments, complemented by excellent acting work that impacts the viewer. The film has very good scenes touching the door of the horror genre, despite having a duration of just over two hours worth watching.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, undoubtedly a large part of the general public will find it a very good production, especially if you are a fan of the suspense genre. It is one of those movies that we can use to watch with friends in an afternoon knowing that most of them will find it an interesting story which is developed in a very good way.
