RE: 'Blue Streak' by Les Mayfield Review: A remnant of the buddy-cop action genre with comedic elements

A trip to the past, remembering times that will never return. I think I saw this movie on DVD and once or twice at night I've gotten it on a cable TV channel that broadcasts old movies in my country.
I like buddy cop movies, but it's a little exploited subgenre now, not like it used to be.
I haven't seen Michael Bay's latest with Will Smith and this actor.
The one I remember is Edgar Wright's Hot Fuzz, I thought it was very funny.
