Shang-Chi | One of Marvel's Best so Far

Hi, Dear Hivers
Last night, we went to the movies to watch Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the most recent MCU movie and I have to say it was AMAZING!

Even though movies like Black Window and some of the recent spinoff series, had concentrated most fans' attention, this low profile movie should be among the top five Marvel movies so far. It is action-packed, epic, and funny.

As it has become customary now, movie theaters here are almost empty, which is fine with us. You feel safe and enjoy more. Shang-Chi will keep you on the edge of your seat. 10 minutes into the movie the action is non-stop. Two hours will pass like nothing.

Japanese-American Destin Daniel Cretton directs. He does a great job incorporating an Asian super hero into a universe dominated by white heroes. I think that Asian children can look up to Shang-Chi and the other Asian characters with pride.

The acting was great. Simu Liu plays a very believable super hero. His own martial art skills were a plus and his chemistry with Awkwafina (Nora Lum) is just great. In her role of Katy, she provides laughable and moving moments, as it is expected from one of the funniest Asian actresses now.

True, there is a lot of information to process in a movie that contains a whole different universe and also connects to the MCU, but I felt the director managed to deliver enough for us to feel comfortable with the story and the characters and ask for more.
We had a lot of fun.
I totally recommend Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. I'd give it 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
