This series is what happens during the end of Episode III and the development of Episode IV, when we see Obi-Wan again after the fight against Anakin Skywalker, but now with the name of Ben Kenobi.

We must remember that in Episode IV we are shown Ben Kenobi as an old man who basically no longer reminds us at all of the Jedi master we knew and who also, in his first fight with Darth Vader simply vanishes (in a rather horrible way for the effects of the time).

So, this is a good way to give us a bonus about Obi-Wan's story and in fact, I asked myself a great question that we can see in the trailer (if you haven't seen it, I'll leave you below): what will happen when Obi-Wan finds out that Anakin is alive and now he is known as Darth Vader?

The first interesting fact about this series, based on the first two episodes, is that we see a totally different Obi-Wan Kenobi because he is very disturbed, haunted by the demons of his failure as a mentor in not being able to turn Anakin away from the dark side of the force and the fact that he left him to die in a very horrible and very slow way.

Now, we know that after Order 66, all the Jedi were hunted down like vermin and thus, the Empire deploys its soldiers to track down the last remaining Jedi scattered across the galaxy.

In this sense, this Obi-Wan is completely different from the one we have seen in the episodes of the saga from I to III, because the Jedi Code takes a back seat for reasons of survival, Kenobi has to deny his nature and force himself to hide for fear of running into those elements of the past that are chasing him, I feel that to accommodate the series is incredible.

Not to spoiler why, I won't go into detail but this was the WORST VILLAIN I've EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE in a series, I mean, to say he's a Disney villain (with all that entails) would be an understatement because he really was disappointing.

I feel like I'd like to watch Star Wars: Rebels to see if I can reconcile with this character because what I've seen in the first two Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi episodes about him has been completely pitiful.

If you want to know why I'm saying this, it's time for you to watch the series and if you've already seen it and understand why I'm saying it, leave me in the comments your impressions about it.

I have found this character quite interesting, even though her arrogance has me quite uncomfortable, but I feel that she will be a headache for Obi-Wan and I feel that we will see a lot more of her throughout the series.

The only thing I hope is that the script does not help her so much because there are certain moments that I will not describe in detail where I have been left with a bitter taste in my mouth, thinking about the fact that, according to how they describe the character, she should not be as strong as they come to show, is it motivated by the fact that she is an African American woman or is it mere coincidence that the script gives her?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind at all that this character becomes very powerful, but from what the script has told us, she comes from a family where she is the least powerful, however, the series shows us in these first two episodes something totally different and I want to believe that it is not really for inclusion issues, but for merit issues.

In the same way there is a background in her participation in the story that will be revealed later, when you watch the series, you will understand why, that detail has me quite intrigued.

All of us Star Wars fans are in an incredible moment in history because, in my opinion, this arc was strictly necessary; I feel that there are very soft or very "Disney effect" things that I really hope don't end up transforming this series into what happened with the Rey and Kylo saga, which ended up starting out incredibly well, but ended incredibly badly.

If you've made it this far, I appreciate it and if you haven't seen the series yet, I highly recommend it, if you've already seen it, please leave me a comment with your impressions, here to finish, I'll leave the last trailer they released to increase the hype:
