[Captain America]
I don't watch the new Marvel show so I don't know the details, but apparently Marvel announced Falcon as the new Captain. I already commented on this in the last news review and I consider it a good decision. Therefore, we got an update - Marvel is supposedly planning the 4th part of "Captain America" and is to be dealt with by the creator of this series. Given the positive ratings, it is likely. So far, Mr. Malcolm has not denied this, but it was not a hard cut off (i.e. like the actress playing She-Hulk or Geralt in his time in the Netflix series), so negotiations are probably still ongoing or work is at an early stage of planning and this may still change.

[Ironheart]
As reported by Variety, Disney hired Mrs. Chinaka Hodge to write the series about Ironheart.

[New Flintstones]
We will get a new cartoon in the world of cavemen known to us. The series is to be directed to an older audience and according to initial announcements, the Flinston family and their friends are to leave their comfort zone and prepare for the advent of a new era - the Bronze Age. When I was a child, I liked watching this cartoon, I had several VHS tapes - both with the series and cinema films, in which Fred was something like James Bond + there was his adult daughter's wedding (correct me if I'm wrong, but did it not work out on the basis of it second feature film?). I also saw a movie with actors (or movies - see the previous sentence) and I liked it. I would love to watch the refreshed version.

[Dynasty Warriors]
A cinematic film was made based on the famous game Koei Tecmo, which in turn is an adaptation of a classic Chinese novel. I wasn't playing the game and I'm not going to, so I haven't seen the trailer either.

[Shunsuke Kikuchi has died]
I will start today's M&A segment with some sad information. Shunsuke Kikuchi, the composer best known for his DBZ soundtrack, has passed away. He died at the age of 89 of pneumonia. Due to the fact that DBZ has an important place in my heart (despite my frequent criticisms - by the way, I will probably post my text criticizing the DBS manga by the end of June), as well as "Rocky", "Alien", "WarCraft", "Doom" or "Terminator", it made me genuinely sad while reading this information. I have criticized the soundtrack for many years, but as I mature and learn about new battle-shounens, I started to see more of the things that DBZ (both anime and manga) did well and still perform well. For example, complaining about dragging is IMO not fully justified, because it is nothing compared to how "One Piece" is stretched, the fights, in turn, were well drawn (in the manga), while the anime perfectly reflected the power of strokes, emotions of the characters, which is not it always came out in later released battle-shounen (don't take it as a praise of fights at all, because anime can be accused of a lot of bad stuff, in the case of manga there will be a few things). And of course the music itself. The soundtrack presents at least a good level, creates a great atmosphere of gigantic fights, gives epicness to many scenes, there are good battle themes, sad music themes, good songs that fit daily life. And you are fucking practicing, as if I were listening to the best songs from "Rocky" - it motivates me to repeat repetitions. I hope Mr. Kikuchi has gone to a better place in the afterlife and King Enma hasn't made him wait in line.

[Sailor Moon]
The rumors about which I wrote a few months ago have been confirmed - on June 3, two cinema films "Sailor Moon: Eternal" will appear on Netflix. I am glad, I will definitely watch them and write reviews. It would be nice if Netflix released the old anime along with the movies + new series called "Crystal" by the way.

[DN movie]
Oh, the second part of "Cancer Note" xD. It makes me laugh that they say so much about being faithful to the source material as the movie was just plain shit. Greater compliance with the canon would not improve anything. I hope it will turn out much better this time, because although I don't like DN, which in my opinion is just a good story ("Kaiji" massacres DN in every way, apart from technical issues), it is one of the most popular titles. Consequently, it can promote more films that adapt Japanese comics. I keep my fingers crossed, although this can be difficult, because the script writer is the gentleman who wrote the script for the new "Mortal Kombat" xD.

[Yasuke]

[Anime movie delays]
The last film from the Eureka Seven Hi Evolution trilogy will hit theaters this fall (originally scheduled for early summer). The reason is Covid-19. Likewise, the new movie from the Gundam universe was postponed by 2 weeks because of a pandemic.
