Ousama Rankings is an anime that was released in October last year. It has 23 episodes and was animated by Wit Studio.

Plot | Trama
Bojji is a deaf and dumb prince, who is weaker than he should be at his age, as he can't even lift a child's sword, and yet with his disability and the whole kingdom doubting him, he doesn't give up on the idea of striving to be the best king ever.

Ousama Ranking is a very realistic story, as far as human feelings are concerned. Love, loyalty, betrayal, and rawness are what we see in this story.

If you watch it, it's normal to be confused by many things. For example, the actions of King Bosse. His true intentions are a real unknown, as well as the magic mirror. Who is the woman inside the mirror who whispers things in Prince Daida's ear, does Queen Hilling appreciate Bojji or not? What about Kage?

There are so many doubts, so much fog that overwhelms us that is finally clarified in the last chapters. So many things that we do not understand and that may make us very angry, but then we understand why and the reason for everything.

Something I liked a lot was the character development because the main character is Bojji, who immediately steals our hearts for his tenderness, naivety, and desire to overcome, but the rest of the characters are not far behind. Prince Daida has a very radical evolution that leaves me stunned.
Algo que me gustó mucho, fue el desarrollo de personajes, porque el principal es Bojji, quién nos roba el corazón inmediatamente por su ternura, ingenuidad y ganas de superarse, pero el resto de personajes no se queda atrás. El príncipe Daida tiene una evolución demasiado radical que a mí me deja totalmente anonadada.
The beauty of this anime is that there are neither good nor bad, only human. People who make mistakes and make many mistakes, but then come to their senses and assume their failures to be better.
Lo bonito de este anime es que no hay ni buenos ni malos, solo humanos. Personas que se equivocan y cometen muchos errores, pero que luego recapacitan y asumen sus fallos para ser mejores.
They tell us about resentment, forgiveness and perseverance; how we are unique and useful in our own way, and that there are many ways to be strong. And most importantly, they tell us about trusting ourselves, because if we don't we are doomed not to succeed, not to be happy. If you don't trust yourself, no one else will.

Bojji shows us how important it is to act from the heart and be kind to people. Life takes many turns, and those people you help may be your savior another time.
Bojji nos demuestra lo importante que es obrar desde el corazón y ser amable con las personas. La vida da muchas vueltas, y esas personas a la que ayudas puede que sea tu salvadora en otra oportunidad.
We are never totally alone, there is always someone who appreciates and trusts us, even if we don't notice it. There is always someone who reaches out to us.

Ousama Ranking has been a total surprise to me. The animation is not the typical one we always see, it looks different and very tender. But, although it looks tender, and may seem somewhat childish, the story it tells us could not be further from this.
Ousama Ranking ha sido una total sorpresa para mí. La animación no es la típica que siempre vemos, se ve distinta y muy tierna. Pero, aunque se vea tierna, y pueda parecer algo infantil, la historia que nos cuenta no puede estar más alejada de esto.
It is a story that teaches us many lessons. And it leads us to reconsider the concepts we handle. It feels a bit like a scolding.
Es una historia que nos deja muchas enseñanzas. Y nos lleva a reconsiderar los conceptos que manejamos. Se siente un poco como un regaño.
"You shouldn't think like that" "you should be a better person", "everyone deserves a second chance", "it's not good to live with a grudge".
“No deberías pensar así” “debes ser mejor persona”, “todas las personas merecen una segunda oportunidad”, “no es bueno vivir con rencor”.
This anime is beautiful. Watching it is like going to therapy hahaha. It's like purifying your soul. In fact, the final chapter made me cry (of happiness). It's a real gem. I really recommend you to watch it. It's quite an experience.
Este anime es bellísimo. Verlo es como ir a terapia jajaja. Es como purificar tu alma. De hecho, el capítulo final me hizo llorar (de felicidad). Es una verdadera joya. De verdad te recomiendo muchísimo que lo veas. Es toda una experiencia.
