Get Out: A good psychological horror

During the Halloween #cinetv contest I got some recommendations from there, one of them is this movie, 'Get Out'. It has been a while since the contest so I don't remember the user that recommended it. It was a movie when it was released I wanted to watch, but for some reason it felt into the unknown in my memory, but still good that I was remembered it. I found this movie at Netflix.

This movie is directed by Jordan Peele, who recently released 'Nope' which I also want to watch. He also directed 'Us' which some users also recommended, but I still couldn't find in any streaming service, but the trailer is nice too. The plot is very interesting because it mixes racial matters. For me, that was pretty creative. Essentially a white rich neighborhood found a way to have slaves, African-American people, under their command exploring their brains. They use a family, a couple of a psychiatrist, and a brain surgeon with a daughter that seduces these poor guys to the neighborhood. The family prepares the person to be a slave and do auctions in there to see who pays more for them.

I really enjoyed the protagonist Daniel Kaluuya, he was really immersed in the character of 'Chris' he was in love but he wasn't expecting his girlfriend and her parents to be mean. And all the faces that he made during his journey were amazing. This actor appeared in Black Panther after this movie, but after that, I don't remember seeing him again, pity.

The movie is creative, but the way that these guys are transformed into zombie slaves is too crazy. The hypnosis method plus also brain surgeries are illogical in my point of view. In the movie, they also talk about a brain transplant, where a guy with disabilities could have his brain transplanted to one of these "slaves", a totally Frankenstein inspiration maybe? But it is ok at least for me to just let the movie go and don't focus on these scientific problems, we just need to think as a fantasy movie where everything is possible right?

In conclusion, I totally recommend this movie for those who enjoy lots of suspense and psychological horror, no monsters or ghosts in here though. Here is the trailer to check it out:
