I enjoyed what they did with The Mandalorian series and I found that series to be completely compatible with the Star Wars that I love. However, this animated anthology series wasn't what I was expecting, not in the least.
First of all, the concept of using animations to explore different stories in an efficient way is something that I have always liked. I tend to praise DC comics for their constant flow of animated films that allow the fans of those superheroes to watch new stories that aren't produced in live-action films. This also applies to smaller animated productions from different franchises, for example, The Animatrix, is an excellent animated film telling different stories related to the Matrix. Love, Death & Robots is a great animated anthology series exploring all sorts of futuristic situations with some episodes that could very well be a version of animated Black Mirror stories. More recently, Marvel decided to do the same with its What If series.
In short words, Star Wars: Visions sounded like a great idea for me when I first heard about it due to all the animation anthology productions I have seen and enjoyed in the past. The problem this time was that the type of animation they decided to use and the way to tell some of the stories, was sometimes too childish for adult audiences. I believe this series is an attempt to encourage younger audiences to get interested in Star Wars and that makes total sense, but for the people who already know the films, these stories might be not very exciting.
This series has different directors per episode, and therefore, each episode has its own different style. Some of them were really silly while others were kind of enjoyable.

What was the series about?
The variety of the stories was great, we will see a bunch of different settings and plots and that's the best part of this series. Hardcore fans of Star Wars will probably love this if they can tolerate some of the series shortcomings.
The fight between Jedis and Siths will be present in pretty much all of the episodes and there will also be a lot of focus on the kyber crystals, the special items that give power to the iconic lightsabers. The episodes are extremely short, only lasting around 15 minutes or so, and this makes the stories feel a bit rushed off but this isn't necessarily a big deal.
There is a recurrent theme in many episodes, and it is the supposedly unexpected appearance of a heroic Jedi that has come to save the day. For example, the first episode is about an intense battle between a Sith lord and another talented warrior who isn't actually a Jedi, but could be seen as one given his current actions.
The second episode was the worst of all for me. The story is about a music band, and one of its members is a relative to the popular character from the original films Jabba the Hutt. There is some drama about that family relationship but they spend too much time singing their songs and doing a concert and this become annoying for me. This episode wasn't enjoyable at all, and it made it very clear this series was probably not going to meet the expectations.
Another story is about how far the dark force villains are willing to go to achieve their evil goals, up to the point of creating biological twins capable of easily interact with the force and train them in the dark forces from a very young age. As in many other episodes, one of the siblings realizes that they might be participating in something that's wrong, and a battle will ensue.
In these stories, Jedis tend to be scattered around, mostly living in the shadows in order to prevent being hunted down and killed by the Siths, and they usually appear at the right place and time to defeat any member of the dark force that's causing havoc and ruining the peace of vulnerable communities. This series of events can become repetitive even though there are obviously many variations in the episodes.
In a story, the Siths are going to pose as Jedis in order to infiltrate their reunions and kill them. That is until a super talented Jedi heroically appears to put everything in order and defeat the bad guys. There was one episode I enjoyed because it showed the first droid Jedi I have ever seen in any Star Wars productions. This droid was child-like and it had huge potential to interact with the force. Some challenging circumstances will eventually force him to quickly develop his connection with the force, and hence, he becomes a skilled Jedi fighter. Another episode shows an animal-like being from another planet also becoming a Jedi after some family drama related to the Empire activities on their planet.

How were quality of the animation and the writing of the stories?
The quality of the animation was spectacular. The episodes were created by several anime studios from Japan, and they have different animation styles that made the visual aspect of the series feel fresh and enjoyable. If you watch anime, you will notice several typical anime moves in some of the episodes.
The stories, on the other hand, were regular. Some of them were good enough, while others not so much, and the repetitive sequence of events of having a lightsaber fight that always ends the same can become tiresome.
As mentioned before, these episodes are clearly meant for younger audiences but anime doesn't always have to be this way. I was expecting a series with a more serious tone instead of a kid's show.
Final thoughts
Star Wars: Vision is an interesting new addition to the Star Wars universe, and it is a production with the goal of gaining more fans in the younger generations. In my opinion, this is mostly a show for kids but some hardcore fans might find this series enjoyable due to the variety of places and stories that are explored. For many people, this series won't be very enjoyable.
I think the Star Wars fictional universe is vast enough that more stories can be explored in different ways, and I am looking forward to what new productions will be released in the future. When it comes to this series, I don't really plan on watching more seasons if they are released simply because this isn't a production for my tastes. Although I did enjoy some moments and stories, my general opinion is that Visions didn't meet my expectations.

La calidad de la animación fue espectacular. Reflexiones finales
Star Wars: Vision es una nueva adición interesante al universo de Star Wars, y es una producción con el objetivo de ganar más fanáticos en las generaciones más jóvenes. En mi opinión, este es principalmente un programa para niños, pero algunos fanáticos incondicionales pueden encontrar esta serie agradable debido a la variedad de lugares e historias que se exploran. Para muchas personas, esta serie no será muy disfrutable.
Creo que el universo ficticio de Star Wars es lo suficientemente vasto como para que se puedan explorar más historias de diferentes maneras, y estoy ansioso por conocer las nuevas producciones que se lanzarán en el futuro. Cuando se trata de esta serie, realmente no planeo ver más temporadas si se lanzan simplemente porque esta no es una producción para mi gusto.
