Un saludo para toda la comunidad, me uno al concurso sobre las películas de terror y hablaré sobre una en particular que es de mis favoritas. Las películas de terror no son las que más me gustan pero si puedo decir que está en mi top 3 de favoritos, por lo cual he visto una buena cantidad de películas de terror, dicho todo esto comencemos!

Una película que presuntamente es basada en hechos reales sobre el caso de un asesino que robaba tumbas en los años 50 , la película no cuenta exactamente ese caso pero si tiene algo de inspiración en esos hechos. Ya entrando en la trama, la película se puede resaltar la buena ambientación que había, teniendo en cuenta que la película es de 1974, además de una buena banda sonora que le da ese toque tétrico y espeluznante. Una película que el terror no es por espíritus, por maldiciones o por algo relacionado a lo paranormal, el terror aquí es por un grupo de personas psicópatas que ya traían un historial de asesinatos macabros en tiempo anterior y ahora dispuestas a matar de la peor manera a un grupo de jóvenes que nunca pensarían en vivir su peor pesadilla. Desde que empieza la trama se puede tener la idea de que es una película que pone los pelos de punta; comenzando con una melodía terrorífica e imágenes de cuerpos en mal estado y casi en estado de descomposición, algunos de ellos con heridas fatales, luego de esto se ve a los jóvenes protagonistas escuchando por la radio los casos de las muertes ya mencionadas, todo esto andando en una combi por una carretera típica de la ambientación en Texas, campos desérticos de llanuras y con un color arena. Los próximos minutos a pesar de que hay una escena con algo de sangre no hay aun terror, pero cuando uno de los integrantes empieza a buscar a algunos de los jóvenes en una casa , llega el miedo, cuando entra la casa abre un congelador donde esta una mujer que se despierta como convulsionando y ahí llega el protagonista de la masacre y hablo de “leatherface” y golpea al joven con un hacha , posterior viene una de las escenas que me causo mucho miedo la primera vez que la vi y es que los 2 chicos (uno de ellos en silla de ruedas) que quedan van en las oscuridad por caminos cerca del bosque con una linterna y de la nada al alumbrar aparece leatherface matando al chico de silla de ruedas con una moto sierra, la chica intenta escapar y llega a una habitación donde un señor presuntamente la iba a ayudar pero resulta ser de la familia macabra. Luego de largo sufrimiento la chica logra escapar con ayuda de una persona que en una camioneta donde sube y se escapa.
