Hay una cantidad de producciones que tal vez en su momento de estreno no has podido ver, pero este tipo de tecnología te lo permite. Hay cosas buenas y hay otras no tanto, pero cuando estás aburrido de la programación convencional o del "estreno del momento" puedes recurrir a esta biblioteca audiovisual y darte gusto.

Paranormal manifestations become more frequent in the house. The youngest daughter and even Eve herself begin to perceive them. Eve is convinced that it is her missing son who is trying to communicate with her to tell her where he is, but thanks to Percy Judd, a gardener who served at "Crickley Hall", when it was an orphanage, make them see that these voices and ghostly images are an attempt of the souls who are trapped in this old house, to tell what happened to the 9 orphans who were housed there under the care of the Cribben brothers, Augustus and Magda.
Las manifestaciones paranormales se hacen más frecuentes en la casa. La hija menor, incluso la propia Eve comienzan a percibirlos. Eve está convencida que se trata de su hijo desaparecido que está tratando de comunicarse con ella para indicarle donde está, pero gracias a Percy Judd, un jardinero que sirvió en "Crickley Hall", cuando éste era un orfanato, les hace ver que estas voces e imágenes fantasmales son un intento de las almas que están atrapadas en esta vieja casa, de contar qué fue lo que pasó con los 9 huérfanos que allí se albergaban bajo el cuidado de los hermanos Cribben, Augustus y Magda.

I should clarify that I don't like to do spoilers for movies and series, so if you want to know what the ending, you will have to watch it. I must also tell you that I am not a movie expert, I am just a person who seeks to be entertained as anyone who has a hobby and mine is to enjoy the big and small screen, and take a learning or reflection on the stories that try to tell the public these productions, so having said that I can tell you some of my conclusions to see "The Secret of Crickley Hall".
This is a miniseries that in its genre of suspense and paranormal events, in reality, does not surprise much as the script is very similar to all those that are set in old houses, with stories hidden within its walls. Sometimes it becomes predictable the events to come.
However, as a mother, I must confess that it had a great impact on me, and I think that those of you who have children will agree with me. It is impossible to imagine that in the blink of an eye you can lose the one you love the most like a child and not carry that guilt forever. It takes a lot of strength for a mother and her family to overcome such an event. It takes a lot of emotional work for the guilt to turn into resignation and forgiveness, to be able to continue...sometimes some do not make it.
You don't have to be a mother to feel indignation in the face of child abuse. Particularly it makes me feel very angry, so this type of production invites us to reflect on improving the mechanisms that society has, in its different times, to provide greater protection to children who have no one in the world and depend on outsiders to feel safe and loved. At the end of the day, a loved child will be an adult who will give love to others...so in theory.
Te debo aclarar que no me gusta hacer spoilers de las películas y series, así que si deseas saber cuál es el final la tendrás que ver. También debo decirte que no soy experta en cine, solo soy una persona que busca entretenerse como cualquiera que tiene un hobby y el mío es disfrutar de la pantalla grande y chica, y llevarme un aprendizaje o reflexión sobre las historias que intentan contar al público esta producciones, así que dicho esto te puedo comentar algunas de mis conclusiones personales al ver "The Secret of Crickley Hall".
Esta es una miniserie que en su género de suspenso y eventos paranormales, en realidad no sorprende mucho ya que el guión es muy similar a todas las que se ambientan en casonas viejas, con historias escondidas entre sus muros. A veces se vuelve predecible los sucesos que vendrán.
Sin embargo como madre debo confesarte que me impactó mucho, y creo que los que tienen hijos al verla seguro estarán de acuedo conmigo. Es imposible imaginar que en un abrir y cerrar de ojos puedas perder al ser que más amas como lo es un hijo y no cargar con esa culpa por siempre. Se necesita de mucha fortaleza para que una madre y la familia pueda superar un evento de este tipo. Se debe trabajar muchísimo la parte emocional para que la culpa se convierta en resignación y perdón, para poder continuar...a veces algunos no lo logran.
No hace falta ser madre para sentir indignación frente al maltrato de niños. Particularmente me hace sentir mucha rabia, por eso este tipo de producciones invita a reflexionar sobre mejorar los mecanismos que tenga la sociedad, en sus diferentes épocas, para brindar la mayor protección a niños que no tienen a nadie en el mundo y dependen de personas ajenas para sentirse seguros y amados. A fín de cuentas un niño amado será un adulto que dará amor a los demás...bueno en teoría.
