Acepto que exagere un poco en el título de este post, pero podemos estar de acuerdo que en algún momento del mes de abril todo lo que escuchamos fue sobre Pálpito, o al menos este fue mi caso. La serie escrita por Leonardo Padrón y producida con el sello de Netflix es sin duda revolucionaria en las producciones de países hispanos, al menos dentro de Netflix.
Pálpito, es la historia de Simón Duque y Valeria Duque, un matrimonio lleno de amor, dos personas a las que la realidad los golpea cuando tiene un accidente automovilístico después de una noche preciosa; entonces Valeria es secuestrada y es cuando se desata una desgracia que nos lleva a Camila Duarte, una joven fotógrafa que tiene sus días contados debido a una miocardiopatía dilatada, sin embargo, milagrosamente obtiene otra oportunidad para vivir.
I accept that I exaggerate a bit in the title of this post, but we can agree that at some point in the month of April all we heard about was Pálpito, or at least this was my case. The series written by Leonardo Padrón and produced with the Netflix seal is undoubtedly revolutionary in productions from Hispanic countries, at least within Netflix.
Pálpito, is the story of Simón Duque and Valeria Duque, a marriage full of love, two people who are hit by reality when they have a car accident after a beautiful night; then Valeria is kidnapped and it is when a misfortune is unleashed that leads us to Camila Duarte, a young photographer who has her days numbered due to a dilated cardiomyopathy, however, miraculously gets another chance to live.
La verdad es que desde comenzó el bum de esta serie siempre me llamo la atención la trama, porque como he platicado varias veces me gustan las tramas oscuras, lo que no me gustaba tanto son los 14 capítulos con los que cuenta la serie, por lo general me gustan más las series que son cortas pero aun así comencé a ver la serie, debo decir que si algo tiene es que los primeros capítulos enganchan y te hacen querer ver más de la trama, tiene una excelente primera impresión.
Siendo sincera la trama la esperaba un poco más oscura pero debo decir que es arriesgado tocar el tema tan delicado de tráfico de órganos, es algo que no es realmente común, creo que ese es un factor que hizo que muchas personas consumieran esta producción. No puedo dejar escapar en este aspecto de la trama, que llego un punto como en mitad de todo que sentí que hubo algunas escenas de relleno y que si no hubiesen estado tampoco quitarían la esencia de la serie, y tengo que decirlo, me dio mucho esa vibra de novela.
En relación a los personajes, realmente el antagonista (Zacarías) se robo toda la serie, porque sí, su personaje es detestable y prepotente, pero es este personaje con tanto matices, el que le da un plus a la trama y hace que sobre sentido casi por completo; me gusto mucho como se le muestra al principio como un hombre desesperado y luego nos presentan su verdadera cara.
The truth is that since the boom of this series began I always called my attention to the plot, because as I have talked several times I like dark plots, what I did not like so much are the 14 chapters that the series has, usually I like more series that are short but still I started watching the series, I must say that if anything is that the first chapters hook you and make you want to see more of the plot, it has an excellent first impression.
To be honest I expected the plot to be a little darker but I must say that it is risky to touch the delicate subject of organ trafficking, it is something that is not really common, I think that is a factor that made many people consume this production. I can't let slip in this aspect of the plot, that there came a point like in the middle of everything that I felt that there were some filler scenes and that if they had not been there they would not take away the essence of the series, and I have to say it, it gave me a lot that novel vibe.
In relation to the characters, really the antagonist (Zacarias) stole the whole series, because yes, his character is obnoxious and overbearing, but it is this character with so many nuances, which gives a plus to the plot and makes it almost completely over sense; I really liked how he is shown at the beginning as a desperate man and then we are presented with his true face.
Un personaje que no me gusto mucho fue el de Camila, nuestra protagonista, porque sinceramente pienso que no hubo evolución ninguna en ella y siendo franca muchas veces me hacía respirar profundo con sus acciones. En la misma línea de personajes que no me gustaron tenemos a: Samantha, un personaje adolescente con el cual nunca logre conectar por más que lo intente. En el caso de Simón, su personaje no me enamoro pero tampoco me disgusto.
Un aspecto que me gusto mucho de esta serie fue la manera en la que abordaron el tema de la política, mostrando quizá de una manera muy real como funcionan realmente las cosas, me pareció mucho más interesante esta parte que la otra donde se toca el narcotráfico, es posible que sea por una saturación sobre el tema en producciones americanas.
En cuanto a la puesta en escena, realmente me gusto tanto la cuidad que veía y siento que de alguna manera encaja perfecto con la trama; sin embargo, no puedo obviar que hubo momentos en donde las escenas se sentían un poco forzadas y daban la impresión de querer pasar las cosas rápido pero luego se estancaba nuevamente. Eran detalles realmente muy pequeños pero que me parece importante mencionar.
A character that I didn't like very much was Camila, our main character, because I honestly think that there was no evolution in her and to be frank, many times she made me take a deep breath with her actions. In the same line of characters that I didn't like we have: Samantha, a teenage character with whom I never managed to connect no matter how hard I tried. In the case of Simon, I didn't fall in love with his character but I didn't dislike him either.
One aspect that I liked a lot about this series was the way in which they approached the subject of politics, showing perhaps in a very real way how things really work, I found this part much more interesting than the other where drug trafficking is touched, it is possible that it is because of a saturation on the subject in American productions.
As for the staging, I really liked the city that I saw and I feel that somehow it fits perfectly with the plot; however, I can not ignore that there were moments where the scenes felt a little forced and gave the impression of wanting to pass things quickly but then stagnate again. They were really very small details but I think it's important to mention them.
Mientras más se acercaba el final siento que más se parecía a una novela, de esas que veía cuando era pequeña pero sinceramente no me disgusto porque tome esta serie como un desahogo o más bien despego de las responsabilidades y no estaba buscando impresionarme, simplemente distraerme, pero aún así conseguí llevarme varias lecciones de vida a través de las experiencias de los personajes.
Pálpito no es la serie más cuidado o sorprendente que haya visto, pero en definitiva es buena, siento que si alguna persona aún no la ha visto y esta interesada tiene que saber que no es una trama como otras de este género, pero es esa diferencia, la que al menos en mi caso me hizo quedarme hasta el final de la serie. La misma me mostro muchos matices que a veces ignoro por completo.
The closer it got to the end I feel that it was more like a novel, one of those I watched when I was little but honestly I didn't dislike it because I took this series as an outlet or rather detachment from the responsibilities and was not looking to impress me, just distract me, but I still managed to take several life lessons through the experiences of the characters.
Pálpito is not the most careful or surprising series I have seen, but it is definitely good, I feel that if someone has not yet seen it and is interested they should know that it is not a plot like others of this genre, but it is that difference, which at least in my case made me stay until the end of the series. It showed me many nuances that sometimes I ignore completely.
¿Recomendaría Pálpito? Todo depende de los gustos pero en mi experiencia es una serie que podemos ver en cualquier momento del día para distraernos y además es entretenida. Por lo que tengo entendido, Netflix ya ha confirmado una segunda temporada, realmente espero que no se arruine lo que conocimos en esta primera.
Pálpito, fue una serie que comencé a ver con muchas expectativas pero a pesar de todo ello me mantuve porque tuvo la facilidad de atraparme.
Would you recommend Pálpito? It all depends on taste but in my experience it is a series that we can watch at any time of the day to distract us and it is also entertaining. From what I understand, Netflix has already confirmed a second season, I really hope it doesn't ruin what we met in this first one.
Pálpito, was a series that I started watching with high expectations but despite all that I stayed with it because it had the facility to catch me.
