Hello everyone in the movies and tv shows community how are you all I hope you are all doing great. Recently I came across a movies called THE KING'S WOMAN and I decided to give it a trial I was glad I did this because it thought me alot of lesson.
Description
This movies talks about a group of women bring led by a general named nanisca the bravest warrior of their time from the kingdom of dahomey lauching and attacked on the the warriors of Oyo empire which are made up of men the women of dahomey successfully won the battle and matched there people who were take as captives back to their land.
Warriors of the oyo empire called for reinforcement and planed to attack the people of dahomey. Warriors of oyo empire came to the Palace of dahomey to make a negotiation for the people of dahomey the negotiation was to sell out some of their female Warriors they refused to do this the oyo Warriors told them they would launch and attack on them,they left for the main time in order to prepare for the war.
On the other side was an adopted girl,her father wanted her to marry but she refused her father then decided to give her to the king since she would not listen to him this girl goes by the name Nawi another brave warrior,she was the bravest the people have ever seen,the general was once raped during a war many years ago by the leader of the oyo tribe she gave birth to the baby in secret without letting anyone find out she hid herself for months all this happened just before she became a general. She made a cut at the left side of the baby's arm after the birth after which she sold the baby out,she saw the same mark on Nawi's hand she then discovered nawi was her daughter,she vowed to protect her at any cost.
Palace of dahomey starts to recurute more warriors to train them of which nawi was one of them after days of hard drilling they came together an attacked the person of oyo they destroyed the oyo empire and claimed victory.
Lesson I learnt
This movie taught me to always be courageful,we should never sell our self's out no matter the situation we are facing we should always stand on our right no matter what.
