BLOOD AND A LOT OF VIOLENCE IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE MAIN COURSE OF THIS SERIES, BUT BEHIND IT HIDES A DEEP STORY TO TELL.

The animated series for adults have had a place in my small agenda of movies and series and I must confess that I have seen many animated series of which I have as favorites Rick and Morty and Paradise PD, for its acid humor, black and who gives a shit what society thinks, total the world is a free place and you can do whatever comes out of our mouths.

That kind of series are successful because they go against the current and show what the consumer wants to see, sex, blood and lots of drugs. It doesn't matter what you think about whether that is good or bad, but this type of content always entertains a large percentage of viewers even if they say otherwise.

🇪🇸 SANGRE Y MUCHA VIOLENCIA ES SIN DUDA EL PLATO FUERTE DE ESTA SERIE, PERO DETRÁS DE ELLO SE ESCONDE UNA HISTORIA PROFUNDA QUE CONTAR.

Las series animadas para adulto han tenido un lugar en mi pequeña agenda de películas y series y debo confesar que he visto muchas series animadas de las cuales tengo como favoritas a Rick and Morty y Paradise PD, por su humor ácido, negro y que le importa una mierda lo que la sociedad opine, total el mundo es un lugar libre y se puede hacer lo que nos salga de la boca.

Ese tipo de series son exitosos por ir contra la corriente y mostrar lo que el consumidor quiere ver, sexo, sangre y muchas drogas. No importa lo que pienses sobre si eso es bueno o malo, pero siempre este tipo de contenido entretiene a un gran porcentaje de espectadores aunque digan lo contrario.

I love with all my heart that this kind of series exist and that we can enjoy something different and not what we often see that already touches that line of boredom. A few days ago I was curious to see the series INVINCIBLE I must say that I had that feeling that I would run into something in the style of THE BOYS, but the truth is that it has nothing similar even the blood scenes are similar, the background story is so different that I can assure you that it is much more disturbing than what we see in THE BOYS.

It has a humor in the style of Spider-Man, but with spicy touches that make it acceptable, but from my humble opinion and they had lowered 20% of that humor, it would surely be one of the darkest animated series of 2021. So is it one of the best? You can say yes, nothing in the present day is like it in any aspect and being very objective it is a series that has a deep story to tell and it is not just about seeing a lot of gore scenes or exaggerated deaths, no this goes much further and I have not had the opportunity to read the comic, but it seems that this series paints scenarios that can blow your mind, if you are like me and see beyond what you see.

🇪🇸 Amo con todo mi corazón que este tipo de series existan y que podamos disfrutar de algo diferente y no lo que vemos a menudo que ya toca esa línea del aburrimiento. Hace unos días tuve la curiosidad de ver la serie INVINCIBLE debo decir que tenía ese sentimiento de que me toparía con algo al estilo de THE BOYS, pero la verdad no tiene nada parecido siquiera las escenas de sangre son parecidas, la historia de fondo es tan diferente que les puedo asegurar que perturba mucho más que la que vemos en THE BOYS.

Tiene un humor al estilo de Spider-Man, pero con toques picantes que la hacen aceptable, pero que desde mi humilde opinión y le hubieran bajado un 20% de ese humor, de seguro sería una de las series animadas más oscuras del 2021. ¿Entonces es de lo mejor? Puede decirse que sí, nada en la actualidad se le parece en ningún aspecto y siendo muy objetivo es una serie que tiene una historia profunda que contar y no solo trata de ver muchas escenas gore o muertes exageradas, no esto va mucho más allá y no he tenido la oportunidad de leer el comic, pero parece que esta serie pinta escenarios que pueden hacer volar tu cabeza, si eres como yo y ves más allá de lo que ves.

When a new series is about to premiere or has caught the attention of thousands of viewers is more than sure that you have already seen some reviews on YouTube or the rating on Rotten Tomatoes or maybe some colleagues in the community have already left a review and surely have told you what the series is about, then to not make that so repetitive and let's go straight to the point which is that you know my opinion of the series, I will leave you a small synopsis courtesy of Wikipedia.

Mark Grayson is a normal teenager, except for the fact that his father, Nolan, is the strongest superhero on the planet. Shortly after his seventeenth birthday, Mark begins to develop his own powers and enters his father's tutelage. 🇪🇸 ¿DE QUÉ TRATA LA SERIE?

Cuando una serie nueva está por estrenarse o ha llamado la atención de miles de espectadores es más que seguro que ya hayan visto alguna reseñas en YouTube o la calificación en Rotten Tomatoes o quizás ya algunos colegas de la comunidad han dejado una reseña y de seguro les han hablado de que trata la serie, entonces para no hacer eso tan repetitivo y vayamos directamente al punto que es que conozcan mi opinión de la serie, les dejaré una pequeña sinopsis cortesía de Wikipedia.

Mark Grayson es un adolescente normal, excepto por el hecho de que su padre, Nolan, es el superhéroe más fuerte del planeta. If you have seen series like the ones I named a few moments ago, I can assure you that this series has so much psychological violence that it will be difficult to grasp at first, but if you take the time to watch it very carefully you will notice that the strongest thing in the series is not the scenes of blood or violence, this goes much further and when you realize it, you will be shocked and amazed with how deep INVINCIBLE can be.

MY TAKE ON INVINCIBLE

YOU HAVE TO LOOK BEYOND WHAT YOUR EYES SEE, IT'S NOT ALL BLOOD AND VIOLENCE.

A series with a slow pace in its first two episodes that then pick up interesting pace, presenting a story line without any jumps, that first hand is great, as it keeps you aware of everything that could be presented in the episodes without leaving aside the story we are told, of a teenager who sees the arrival of his powers and struggles to become the hero that his father is.

This is the first approach that the series gives us and makes us think that we will see this teenager (Invincible) with superpowers trying to earn the respect of the earth and his father who is the strongest man on the planet (Omni-Man), but the truth is that it goes in another direction and is to know that he has a great power, but will fight with forces that are beyond his reach.

🇪🇸 Si has visto series como las que te nombre hace unos momentos, te puedo asegurar que esta serie tiene tanta violencia psicológica que será difícil captar a la primera, pero si te tomas el tiempo de verla con mucha atención podrás notar que lo más fuerte en la serie no son las escenas de sangre o violencia, esto va mucho más allá y cuando te des cuenta, quedarás impactado y maravillado con lo profundo que puede ser INVINCIBLE.

ALERTA DE POSIBLES SPOILRS, PERO NADA DE QUE PREOCUPARSE.

MI OPINIÓN SOBRE INVINCIBLE

TIENES QUE VER MÁS ALLÁ DE LO QUE VEN TUS OJOS, NO TODO ES SANGRE Y VIOLENCIA.

Una serie con un ritmo lento en sus dos primeros episodios que luego van tomando ritmo interesante, presentando una línea argumental sin ningún salto, eso de primera mano es genial, ya que te mantiene al tanto de todo lo que se podría presentar en los episodios sin dejar de lado la historia que nos cuentan, de un adolescente que ve la llegada de sus poderes y que lucha por convertirse en el héroe que es su padre.

Este es el primer enfoque que nos brinda la serie y nos hace pensar que veremos a este adolescente (Invencible) con superpoderes intentar ganarse el respecto de la tierra y el de su padre que es el hombre más fuerte del planeta (Omni-Man), pero la verdad es que va hacia otra dirección y es el de saber que tiene un gran poder, pero luchará con fuerzas que no están a su alcance.

We usually watch series or pellicles of the superhero genre, where the good guys never die or we don't see them bleed, but here things are as real as watching them fly at high speed through the air, here heroes can die and even the strongest man can bleed to death. All this makes the series piques my interest and I can't stop watching it from the first second.

Each character is presented and developed as best suits each scene, they do not give so much importance to the secondary characters, since it is not worth watching something that can become repetitive or unnecessary for the viewer. It has the participation of actors like (J.K. Simmons) who gives life to Nolan Grayson / Omni-Man, which is already a Plus in the series and we can measure the level of quality that this series promises us.

MORE OF THE SAME?

No, not at all this is not a common series about superheroes, you won't see wonderful scenes or moments where the good guys always win and the villains always get defeated, this is nothing like what you can get anywhere else. It's normal to think that anything that wears a cape means justice and peace and that only the good guys can convey that feeling of pride and tranquility in situations where the helpless don't have the strength to come out victorious.

🇪🇸 Solemos ver series o pellicas del género de superhéroes, donde los buenos nunca mueren o no los vemos sangrar, pero aquí las cosas son tan reales como verlos volar a gran velocidad por los aires, aquí los héroes pueden morir y hasta el hombre más fuerte puede sangrar hasta la muerte. Todo esto hace que la serie despierte mi interés y que no pueda dejar de verla desde el primer segundo.

Cada personaje es presentado y desarrollado como mejor se acople a cada escena, no le dan tanta importancia a los personajes segundarios, ya que no vale la pena ver algo que pueda tornarse repetitivo o innecesario para el espectador. Cuenta con la participación de actores como (J.K. Simmons) quien le da vida a Nolan Grayson / Omni-Man, lo cual ya es un Plus en la serie y podemos medir el nivel de calidad que nos promete esta serie.

¿MÁS DE LO MISMO?

No, para nada esto no es una serie común sobre superhéroes, no verás escenas o momentos maravillosos donde los buenos siempre ganan y los villanos siempre resultan derrotados, esto no es nada parecido a lo que puedas conseguir en cualquier otra parte. Es normal pensar que todo lo que lleve una capa es significado de justicia y paz y que solo los buenos pueden transmitir ese sentimiento de orgullo y tranquilidad ante situaciones donde los indefensos no tienen la fuerza para salir victoriosos.

When we see the villains of this series, we have the vague sensation that we are before beings that try to express a point of view of a society that does not want to see what is in front of their eyes, but that it is difficult to see when they themselves ruin with their feet what they do with their hands.

Each of these aspects, make us feel that nothing is the same and that anything can happen in this series, which has no limits and no taboo in showing things as they really are. In superhero movies or series we notice that the good guys hardly bleed or are left with problems that later cost them their lives, here we are shown that side where if a hero is not up to the level of the situation he can die or be seriously injured.

So? Are we facing a series just like the others that try to scratch the same genre, definitely NOT and it is far from looking like something repetitive to what we have seen, believe me this series can blow your mind if you really pay attention to the details.

BEING A HERO DOESN'T MEAN BEING GOOD OR BAD

The version of Superman in this series is Omni-Man, a man who came to earth from another planet, where he formed a family and became the protector of the thousands of people who inhabit the earth. Which looks very good and is what we all expect to happen, which could be boring or very predictable.

🇪🇸 Cuando vemos a los villanos de esta serie, tenemos la vaga sensación de que estamos ante seres que intentan expresar un punto de vista de una sociedad que no quiere ver lo que está frente a sus ojos, pero que resulta difícil de ver cuando ellos mismos arruinan con los pies lo que hacen con las manos.

Cada uno de estos aspectos, nos hacen sentir que nada es igual y que cualquier cosa puede ocurrir en esta serie, la cual no tiene límites y ningún tabú en mostrar las cosas como realmente son. En películas o series de superhéroes notamos que los buenos difícilmente sangran o quedan con problemas que más adelante les cueste la vida, aquí nos muestran ese lado donde si un héroe no está al nivel de la situación puede morir o resultar gravemente herido.

¿Entonces? Estamos ante una serie igual a las demás que intentan rayar el mismo género, definitivamente NO y está lejos de parecer algo repetitivo a lo que hemos vito, créeme esta serie puede volar tu cabeza si de verdad le prestas atención a los detalles.

SER UN HÉROE NO SIGNIFICA SER BUENO O MALO

La versión de Superman en esta serie es Omni-Man, un hombre que llego la tierra desde otro planeta, donde formó una familia y se convirtió en el protector de los miles de personas que habitan la tierra. Lo cual pinta muy bien y es lo que todos esperamos que suceda, lo cual podría ser aburrido o muy predecible.

Here is where I can say that they went over the cliché by the balls and went much further, maybe when you watch the series you will notice the big difference between these two characters and you will be tempted to stay on one side, but believe me Omni-Man is not the trash he seems to be, he is a man with other customs and a purpose that he left aside for many years and if we see it from that point he did not fail the earth he failed his people and his origins.

Which begs the question, does wearing a cape make us good? Or is it the delusion of truth.

DO I RECOMMEND IT?

Obviously I recommend it 100%, it's very entertaining, with so much blood that you'll be able to save some for the next season and it will still be hard to get burned out, but if gore scenes or very violent content isn't your thing, then I recommend you don't watch it and go watch something else softer and undisturbing.

FINAL THOUGHT

Years ago I saw a series called Happy Tree Friends which seemed so grotesque, violent, exaggerated and out of place that I stopped watching it for a long time and with the passage of time I came across that series again, being an adult and with a more open mind I decided to watch it until the end and understand each episode which is something totally difficult, since this series has no objective other than to entertain an audience that only wants to see scenes with lots of blood and no common sense.

But I could understand that the human being sometimes needs to distract his mind and perhaps this type of series with so much violence is not for everyone and that only a certain percentage of viewers stay until the end or just watch it from time to time with the sole intention of seeing something out of the ordinary, perhaps satiating that morbid for the crazy or simple curiosity to try something new.

🇪🇸 Aquí es donde yo puedo decir que se pasaron por las bolas ese cliché y fueron mucho más allá, quizás cuando veas la serie notes la gran diferencia entre estos dos personajes y estés tentado a quedarte de un solo lado, pero créeme Omni-Man no es la basura que parece ser, es un hombre con otras costumbres y un propósito que dejó de lado por muchos años y que si lo vemos desde ese punto él no le fallo a la tierra él le falló a su pueblo y sus orígenes.

Lo cual nos lleva a la pregunta, ¿llevar una capa nos hace buenos? O es la falsa ilusión de la verdad.

¿LA RECOMIENDO?

Obviamente que la recomiendo al 100%, es muy entretenida, con tanta sangre que podrás guardar un poco para la siguiente temporada y aún así será difícil que se agote, pero si las escenas gore o contenido muy violento no es lo tuyo, entonces te recomiendo que no la veas y vayas a ver otra cosa más suave y que no te perturbe.

PENSAMIENTO FINAL

Hace años vi una serie llamada Happy Tree Friends la cual me parecía tan grotesca, violenta, exagerada y fuera de lugar que la deje de ver por mucho tiempo y con el pesar del tiempo me volví a topar con esa serie, ya siendo un adulto y con la mente más abierta me decidí a verla hasta el final y entender cada episodio lo cual es algo totalmente difícil, ya que no tiene un objetivo esta serie que no sea solo entretener a un público que solo desea ver escenas con mucha sangre y nada de sentido común.

Pero pude entender que el ser humano a veces necesita distraer su mente y quizás este tipo de series con tanta violencia no es para todos y que solo un determinado porcentaje de espectadores se queden hasta el final o solo la vean de vez en cuando con la única intensión de ver algo fuera de lo común, quizás saciando ese morbo por lo descabellado o la simple curiosidad de probar algo nuevo.
