Hola, hola, Hivelovers espero que estén excelentemente bien. El día de hoy les traigo una Reseña: Borat. Ojo esta reseña no contendrá Spoilers. Pero daré mi punto de vista sobre ella.
Hello, hello, Hivelovers, I hope you are doing great. Today I bring you a Review: Borat. This review will not contain Spoilers. But I will give my point of view about it.
RESUMEN
Pues bien amigos, Borat es una cinta basada en las aventuras de un histriónico periodista de Kazajistán en Estados Unidos. Durante su recorrido por el país norteamericano, Borat va documentando toda su experiencia y exponiendo el estilo de vida de los estadounidenses con el suyo.
Well friends, Borat is a film based on the adventures of a histrionic journalist from Kazakhstan in the United States. As he travels around the United States, Borat documents his entire experience and exposes the American way of life with his own.
El kasako viaja junto a su compañero Azamat Bagatov, tratando de aprender parte de la cultura de EEUU para llevarla y mostrarla en su país. Sin embargo, en el camino se desenfoca del proyecto tras haberse enamorado de Pamela Anderson.
The Kazakh travels with his partner Azamat Bagatov, trying to learn part of the U.S. culture to take back home and show it off. However, along the way he becomes unfocused on the project after falling in love with Pamela Anderson.
¿ES BUENA O MALA? |IS IT GOOD OR BAD?
La película tiene un humor muy pesado, está realizada en un formato de documental lo cual nos hace preguntarnos si lo que vemos está siendo real o no, en este aspecto de lo doy mérito, me creí un poco el cuento.
Pero, durante toda la cinta Borat (partiendo desde los valores de su cultura kazaka) hace una cantidad de chistes en contra de gays, de judíos, de las propias mujeres. Y puede llegar a verse como un ataque. Sin mencionar los chistes políticos y socioculturales contra EEUU.
The film has a very heavy humor, it is made in a documentary format which makes us wonder if what we see is real or not, in this aspect I give it merit, I believed the story a little.
But, during the whole film Borat (starting from the values of his Kazakh culture) makes a lot of jokes against gays, Jews, women themselves. And it can be seen as an attack. Not to mention the political and socio-cultural jokes against the USA.
A decir verdad, estuve leyendo varias reseñas antes de dar la mía, y casi todo lo que encontré fue alabanzas hacia la película. Pero a mí me pareció incómoda de ver, no sé si decir que es muy "ruda" para mi gusto. No obstante no es una peli que recomendaría. Fue más lo que me pareció incómodo que lo que me dió risa. Como les digo, tiene un humor pesado y de cierta manera, en la exageración quiere desmontar y hacer crítica a las "maravillas" del país potencia. Y posiblemente lo haya conseguido. Aunque insisto en que no me pareció cómica.
To tell the truth, I was reading several reviews before giving mine, and almost all I found was praise for the movie. But I found it uncomfortable to watch, I don't know if I should say it's too "rough" for my taste. Nevertheless, it's not a movie I would recommend. It was more what I found uncomfortable than what made me laugh. As I say, it has a heavy humor and in a certain way, in the exaggeration it wants to dismantle and criticize the "wonders" of the power country. And it may have succeeded in doing so. Although I insist that I did not find it funny.
Así que si eres tolerante al humor ácido quizás esta película sí te gustará. Por mi lado solo me queda decir que no la considero agradable.
So if you are tolerant to acid humor maybe you will like this movie. For my part I can only say that I don't find it enjoyable.
