Third season of Castlevania, Netflix original series inspired by the third game of the saga, Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, in this season we continue with all the plots that the second season left us. Let's see, right off the bat I can tell you that I liked the season, but there is one thing in particular that I didn't like at all; the third and fourth seasons are the longest of all, and although one entertained me more than the other, each one shines on its own. I'll tell you what happened to the main trio now that they accomplished their goal and the different plots developed throughout these two seasons.
We continue where we left off and we find an Alucard who stayed behind from Dracula's Castle and the Belmont's Vault, on the other hand we have Trevor and Shypha in search of more adventure and arriving to a small town where they will meet a particular character, Hector for betraying Dracula fell into the hands of Carmilla who will use him for his own benefit and Isaac for his part seeks a way out of the desert to assemble an army and confront Carmilla.
The plot of Trevor and Sypha, personally, was the best, in it we will meet Saint Germain who in the games is a time traveler but here is a little lost the concept that they decided to capture. The animation is getting better and better and as expected Sypha has the best action scenes showing us how skilled she is with her magic as a speaker; although I liked this one the most, I have to admit that in some parts it was a little slow, it has a detective air because of the monks and the night creature they were using but I feel that they could have acted a little faster than they did.
The final battle is epic and this time it was Trevor's turn to shine in the animation with a moment similar to the one Syphan had in the second season. Saint Germain had an almost null role in the last battle, he always gave a vibe that he was a magician but did not do much more than close the portal to the Infinity Corridor; this kind of portal to different universes generates a bit of curiosity, rather than being a direct gateway to hell, it shows that this series has several universes from which it can take advantage.
Isaac had the most interesting plot, we see how this character gradually shapes his own destiny and stops depending on the ideals of others to form his own. Rather than a cold character who always obeyed Dracula's orders, we can see how he shows that he actually feels a little affection for humans, in the end he ends up trusting people and is always disappointed by their behavior; the conversations he had with the ship captain and the witch, I think, in the village is a proof of the development and dilemmas the character goes through.
Hector for his part was fine, I feel that they wasted the character, he could have had a different direction but this was the story they decided to take. Through Hector we can see the court of vampire allies of Carmilla but in this season they are a little out of scene, especially Striga and Morana who have a role more of a couple that is there because it is necessary for a part of the plot, I do not know, at least I see it that way. The vampire who takes the leading role is Lenore who convinces Hector to forge creatures of the night that are at the service of Carmilla and lets us know interesting facts about how vampires work in the world of this series.
And the plot that I liked the least of the whole season, "Alucard and the strangers", that's what I decided to call it. I understand a bit the part of Alucard, I mean, he just murdered his father, lives alone in a castle and is in charge of a vault that houses, at least, more than 100 years old, I understand that he accepts two people who are asking for help. Apart from the fact that it seemed to me the slowest plot of all, it's a bit weird, like everything happens just for the sake of it; what I can highlight is the kind of transformation Alucard is going through, he looks more and more like Dracula.
Fourth season and we continue with the plans of all the characters, in this season the plot that takes the first place is Isaac, after getting the massive transmission mirror that he obtained in the previous season he prepares to attack Carmilla's Castle and give us the second best battle of the season. At the same time Hector acts on his own devising a plan to revive Dracula along with Saint Germain and other vampires but that's not the only thing Hector was up to, he was also placing a kind of prison around the castle in case of emergency but that came as a ring to Isaac, because thanks to that he could corner Carmilla and fight with her (epic fight by the way).
Alucard was able to vindicate himself in this season, although I was enjoying watching him slowly transform into Dracula. Alucard, alone in his castle, receives a message from a small town that is being attacked by creatures of the night, decides to go to town and makes the most epic entrance of the entire series and we meet Saint Germain, who is this season has more prominence and we can see the reason why he wants to enter the Infinity Corridor, to find his beloved, but as expected the cost to control the corridor is human sacrifice and revive Dracula; something that came in handy because he was in the village that Alucard went to defend to escort them to Dracula's Castle.
Trevor and Sypha as always fighting with the creatures that are in their way only this time they go to the beginning of everything, the town where the series began, Targoviste. This couple is attacked by vampires and are helped by a kind of subway guard that still remains in the city, after investigating a little they manage to find the whereabouts of the high command of that city in ruins and discover that everything was a lie of the soldiers to maintain some "order". Between fights, they reach a transmission mirror and end up in Dracula's Castle, which was under attack by the whole group of vampires and Saint Germain, who wanted to revive Dracula.
The final fight of the season takes absolutely everything, I can only say it is epic in all its aspects, from the entrance of Trevor and Sypha to the confrontation with Death, who really surprised me that all this time has been in front of us.
Conclution
The third season continues with all the plots that were established and leaves the door open to continue them in its next season, leaving the bar so high the fourth season is not far behind and manages to surpass everything we have seen in the series. The final confrontations gave me an air as if they referenced video games, Carmilla vs Isaac, Trevor, Sypha and Alucard against all those vampires and Trevor vs Death gave a very video game impression, at least that's how I saw it. The ending is excellent for the series, throughout the season the plots that were concluded and the last episode was the quietest of all, the contrast of the last two episodes of fighting and tranquility lets you see as if everything is already done, personally I am satisfied with the end they gave to the series and if you have not seen it I do not know what to expect to see it.

Tercera temporada de Castlevania, serie original de Netflix y que se inspira en el tercer juego de la saga, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, en esta temporada continuamos con todas las tramas que nos dejó la segunda temporada. A ver, de buenas a primeras les puedo decir que la temporada me gustó, pero hay una cosa en particular que no me termino de agradar del todo; la tercera y cuarta temporada son las más largas de todas, y aunque una me entretuvo más que la otra, cada una reluce por si sola. Les contare que pasó con el trío protagonista ahora que cumplieron su objetivo y las diferentes tramas se desarrollaron a lo largo de estas dos temporadas.
Continuamos donde lo dejamos y nos encontramos con un Alucard que se quedó con el Castillo de Drácula y la Bóveda de los Belmont, por otra parte tenemos a Trevor y a Shypha en busca de más aventura y llegando a un pequeño pueblo en donde conocerán a un particular personaje, Héctor por traicionar a Drácula cayo en las manos de Carmilla quien lo usara su propio beneficio e Isaac por su parte busca una manera de salir del desierto para armar un ejército y enfrentarse a Carmilla.
La trama de Trevor y Sypha, en lo personal, fue la que mejor estuvo, en ella conoceremos a Saint Germain quien en los juegos es un viajero del tiempo pero aquí esta como un poco perdido el concepto que decidieron plasmar. La animación cada vez más va en aumento y como era de esperarse Sypha cuenta con las mejores escenas de acción dejándonos mejor lo hábil que es con su magia de oradora; si bien esta es la que más me gusto, tengo que reconocer que en algunas partes estuvo un poco lenta, tiene un aire detectivesco por todo el asunto de los monjes y la criatura de noche que estaban usando pero siento que perfectamente podrían haber actuado un poco más rápido de lo que hicieron.
La batalla final es épica y en esta ocasión fue turno de Trevor relucir en la animación con un momento parecido al que tuvo Sypha en la segunda temporada. Saint Germain tuvo un papel casi nulo en la última batalla, siempre dio como una vibra de que era un mago pero no hizo gran cosa más que cerrar el portal al Corredor Infinito; esta especie de portal a universos diferentes genera un poco de curiosidad, más que ser una puerta directa al infierno deja ver que esta serie cuenta con varios universos de los que puede sacar provecho.
Isaac tuvo la trama más interesante, vemos como este personaje poco a poco va moldeando un destino propio y deja de depender de los ideales de los demás para formarse uno mismo. Más que un personaje frío y que siempre obedecía las ordenes de Drácula, podemos ver cómo va mostrando que en realidad siente un poco de afecto por lo humanos, al final termina confiando en las personas y siempre queda decepciona por su comportamiento; las conversaciones que tuvo con el capitán de barco y la bruja, creo, en el pueblo es una prueba del desarrollo y los dilemas por lo que pasa el personaje.
Héctor por su parte estuvo bien, siento que desaprovecharon al personaje, pudo tener un rumbo diferente pero esta fue la historia que decidieron llevar. A través Héctor podemos ver a la corte de vampiresas aliadas de Carmilla pero en esta temporada quedan un poco fuera de escena, sobretodo Striga y Morana que tienen un papel más de pareja que está ahí porque es necesaria para una parte de la trama, no sé, por lo menos yo lo veo de esa manera. La vampiresa que se lleva el protagonismo es Lenore que convence a Héctor para que forje criaturas de la noche que estén al servicio de Carmilla y nos deja conocer datos interesantes sobre cómo funcionan los vampiros en el mundo de esta serie.
Y la trama de que menos me gustó de toda la temporada, “Alucard y los desconocidos”, así decidí llamarla. Entiendo un poco la parte de Alucard, es decir, acaba de asesinar a su padre, vive solo en un castillo y está a cargo de una bóveda que alberga, por lo menos, más de 100 años de antigüedad, comprendo que acepte a dos personas que estén pidiendo ayuda. A parte de que me pareció la trama más lenta de todas está un poco rara, como que todo pasa porque sí; lo que puedo resaltar es la especie de transformación por la que Alucard está pasando, cada vez se parece más a Drácula.
Cuarta temporada y continuamos con los planes de todos los personajes, en esta temporada la trama que se lleva el primer puesto es la Isaac, luego de conseguir el espejo de transmisión masiva que obtuvo en la anterior temporada se prepara para atacar el castillo de Carmilla y darnos la segunda mejor batalla de la temporada. A su vez Héctor actúa por cuenta propia ideando un plan para revivir a Drácula junto a Saint Germain y otros vampiros pero eso no lo único que tramaba Héctor, también estaba colocando una especie de cárcel alrededor de todo el castillo por caso de emergencia pero que le vino como anillo al dedo para Isaac, ya que gracias a eso pudo acorralar a Carmilla y pelear con ella (pelea épica por cierto).
Alucard pudo reivindicarse en esta temporada, aunque me estaba gustando ver como lentamente se transformaba en Drácula. Alucard, solo en su castillo, recibe un mensaje de un pequeño pueblo que está siendo atacado por criaturas de la noche, decide ir hasta pueblo y hace la entrada más épica de toda la serie y nos topamos con Saint Germain, quien es esta temporada tiene más protagonismo y podemos ver el motivo por qué quiere entrar al Corredor Infinito, para buscar a su amada, pero como era de esperar el costo para controlar el corredor es sacrificios humanos y revivir a Drácula; cosa que le vino de maravilla porque estaba en el pueblo que Alucard fue a defender para escoltarlos hasta el Castillo de Drácula.
Trevor y Sypha como siempre combatiendo con las criaturas que se encuentran en su camino solo que esta vez van al principio de todo, el pueblo donde la serie dio inicio, Targoviste. Esta pareja es atacada por vampiros y son ayudados por una especie de guardia subterránea que todavía queda en la ciudad, tras investigar un poco logran dar con el paradero de los altos mandos de aquella ciudad en ruinas y descubren que todo era una mentira de los soldados para mantener cierto “orden”. Entre pelea y pelea, llegan a un espejo de transmisión y terminan en el Castillo de Drácula que estaba siendo atacado por todo el conjunto de vampiros, y Saint Germain, que querían revivir a Drácula.
La pelea final de la temporada se lleva absolutamente todo, solo me queda decir es épica en todo sus aspectos, desde la entrada de Trevor y Sypha hasta el enfrentamiento con la Muerte, que de verdad me sorprendió que todo este tiempo haya estado frente a nosotros.
Conclusión
La tercera temporada continúa con todas las tramas que estaban establecidas y deja la puerta abierta para continuarlas en su siguiente temporada, dejando el listón tan alto la cuarta temporada no se queda muy atrás y logra superar todo lo que hemos visto en la serie. Los enfrentamientos finales me dieron un aire como si referenciaran a los videojuegos, Carmilla vs Isaac, Trevor, Sypha y Alucard contra todos esos vampiros y Trevor vs la Muerte dieron una impresión muy videojuego, por lo menos así lo vi yo. Es te final es excelente para la serie, en toda la temporada se fueron concluyendo las tramas que estaban y el último episodio fue el más tranquilo de todos, ese contraste de los dos últimos episodios de pelea y tranquilidad deja ver como si ya todo está hecho, personalmente estoy satisfecho con el final que le dieron a la serie y si no la han visto no sé qué esperan para verla.
