The Shack is an inspirational type of film, which tries to transmit a little more revealing teachings about life and our relationship with God or with the deeper meaning of our existence. If you watch this film, you will notice that it is not exactly religious or trying to communicate a message in favor of being a devout believer. Rather it is like a more "natural" way of assimilating these concepts that we would normally see as religious.

La Cabaña es una película del tipo inspiradora, que intenta transmitir enseñanzas un poco más reveladoras acerca de la vida y nuestra relación con Dios o con el sentido más profundo de nuestra existencia. Si ves esta película, te darás cuenta que no es precisamente religiosa o no intenta transmitir un mensaje a favor de ser un creyente devoto. Más bien es como una forma más "natural" de asimilar estos conceptos que normalmente veríamos como religiosos.

However, I suspect that this movie is based rather on another wisdom also related to biblical teachings. If we look at the Tree of Life, precisely the top 3 intellects are the divine or highest: the Everything/Crown, the Wisdom, and the Understanding (creativity). Wisdom is usually associated with the masculine, and Understanding or Creativity with the feminine. However, both are within us, which is why Mack sees them as "archetypes" of God.
