Drug Abuse As One Of The Consequence Of Cultism

DRUG ABUSE
Imagine some of the bizarre scenarios described below: A cult war victim was discovered in one of Nigerian Universities butchered.
This is not strange. But the novel dimension was that his heart was
removed and placed on his now battered chest, while his intestines
were used to bind his legs and severed hands, apparently to stop him from running away!
A repented cultist in his religious zeal went to share the words of the bible with an opposing cult group members, who however, were out to add another notch to their bloody cap. He was killed and his bible used as a pillow for his bullet riddled head, while his cell phone was used to contact his former leader, to announce his death.

If you think normal human beings can perform these bizarre acts, then you must yourself be a supper human! These are base actions of those afflicted by demonic virus or those very high on drugs.
Lets look at the drug angle. Misuse of drug is said to be the "taking
of a drug under ircumstances and at doses that significantly increase the hazard to the individual or to others" To say that cultists use drugs to the extent of being a source of hazard to
themselves and others is just stating the obvious. We noted that
during initiations, hard drugs, such as cocaine, manjuana, morphine and heroin are laced with high potent alcohol, to form what they call special brew. This is just the introductory part of the whole package. From hence, the cultist is brainwashed to be drug
and alcohol dependent to be able to maintain his hardiness. The men with "liver" a description for strong-hearted fellows, still need a dose of drug or alcohol to maintain their "liverness" During outings; drug and alcohol torm an essential requirement. 1his they
do to wipe out all torms of logical reasoning and inhibit any emotions.

They, therefore, proceed to wreck havoc on themselves and the society without any feelings without any iota of remorse. A new initiate soon gets hooked to these drugs and soon becomes dependent on them.

What is the implication of this drug dependence? To the cultist, depressant drugs give a leeing of induced euphona, cause drowsiness, and at the Same time cause decreases in the transmission of impulses in the central nervous system. This further results in depression and impairment of physical activities of the body.

Drugs that are stimulants like cocaine, amphetamines, on the other hand enhance the transmission ot impulses in the central nervous system and theretore speed-up mental and physical activity of the body. Marijuana and other Fiallucinogen drugs try to interpret neurological impuises, that is, the rearrangement of the way the
brain processes impulses. With this changed perceptions sound, touching and other senses are impaired. The user begins to see the biggest giant as if such was a little rat. To sustain his drugs habit, the cultist engages in robbery, poitical thuggery, car snatching, and burglary to make money.
To the cultists environment and the society at large, the impications of drug usage is more threatening. It has been establish that there is a serious co-relationship between drug abuse and crime. It is known that violence, assault, murder, rape, assasinations are committed more by drug addicts, than those not on drugs. A sustained usage of these drugs also has far reaching impcations on the health of the culist

Cocaine abuse may lead to irregular heartbeat, convulsion, possible
hear attack and ulceralion of the rectum. There is also a serious
possioility of becoming paranoiac and over aggressive, Marijuana, another popularly abused drug can cause chronic bronchial irritation, lack of concentration, and (short-term) memory impairment. Alcohol. On the other hand may lead to liver damage
(liver cirrhoses), damage to the pancreas, brain damage (alcohol
dementia) and gastritis.
It can then be said that culusm and drug abuse are Iwin evils. Drug
abuse is just one aspect of the cultists' evil pass-times, and we have seen how that alone, with bulle ts anu nacetes can send him to an early grave or even inake him mad.
