This was an event that no one expected at all.
The rain that has been going on continuously for 2 days, heavy rain, drizzle, then heavy rain again, has caused flooding in my place. This flood disaster has resulted in the loss of time and money due to the paralysis of various activities of the people here.
One of the disadvantages experienced by one of my co-workers is being trapped in a pool of water that reaches the waist of an Asian adult. It is almost one meter high.
This bad incident happened on the street in front of my office. He had to hurry home to meet his wife, who lived alone at home. Their house is said to have been flooded as well. He had been desperate to try to break through the puddle. We've tried to remind him. Everyone is still waiting to go home until the water level recedes due to this flood.
At first he was hesitant, but because he remembered his wife, who was alone at home, he still desperately tried to break through. But what to say?
He just came out of the gate of our office. His motorcycle suddenly broke down and stopped in the middle of the flood. He shouted for us to help him. He couldn't move at all and his trousers were soaked above his knees from keeping the motorcycle from falling. I was and several other friends rushed to help him while laughing and amused. We reminded him, didn't we? !LOL
I missed taking a picture of him when his motorcycle was completely submerged there, the exhaust of the motorcycle sinking into the water. I only managed to photograph him when he had been pulled back a little from the flooded puddle.
We all helped pull him and his motorcycle together. His motorcycle was completely submerged in water and broke down completely. We also collectively lifted the front of the motorcycle to remove the remaining water there. The motorcycle really can't be started anymore.
This friend of mine has really suffered a loss that shouldn't have happened. He had to delay going home and had to spend extra money to take his motorcycle to the repair shop.
Anyone should really take all aspects into account before acting. If not, then you will experience losses that should not have happened. Mitigation of the risk is very much needed. You really have to be considerate before acting.
