Day 48 of 90 Day - Wake Up Early - Lifestyle Creation Challenge with Josie

If you want to make any kind of profound and long lasting changes to your life, you have to start by assessing the kind of blieves you hold about yourself. Be honest with your self, and don't gloss over limiting believes, just because you know you should improve the way you think about yourself.

If you stumble accross a negative belief - acknowledge it. For what it is, how it creates obstacles for you and acknowledge what kind of belief you would rather hold.

'Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right.' —// Henry Ford

A belief is a thought you keep thinking, so this acknowledging process might take some time. Acknowlede. Release. Choose. Rinse. Repeat.

At first the process will seam tedious and honestly - quite exhausting and draining, but once you get used to it, as with any habit, it will eventually become second nature.

Now, we've all heard the Henry Ford quote, but the profoundness of it does not diminish, if we sit with it and explore our self-proclamed limitations.

Do they still serve us? What original purpouse did they have for us? Most, I presume will have something to do with the protection from the fear of unknown, but the variations on the theme will surely be abundant.

If you'd like to try out this process but are unsure as to where to start, here are some questions for you to ponder. Try to be as brutally honest with yourself as you can, be mindful that the answers might have a complexity to them with a myriad of beliefs exerting their force upon it. The Truth will be the vector sum of all of those believes. Do not be afraid of that complexity. If you recognize a belief having an impact, acknowledge it.

1. What do you believe is possible for you?
2. What would you rather believe to be possible for you?
3. What believes would you have to release in order to ease into a new preffered set of beliefs?

And for the more adventurous of you out there..

4. What would you do if reality/money/physics/your own believes were no object?

Just as a mental exercise, just for this one sitting allow your imagination as much freedom as you can physically muster. Yes, call it wishful thinking, or daydreaming or whatever you need to call it to allow it, but go wild!

Explore!

Have a magical Sunday! ^^

~Josie~
