I love the forest! I like to collect mushrooms. But this summer the weather is not suitable for the growth of mushrooms. At first we had heat and drought. It was raining everywhere, but for some reason it bypassed our area. Later, heavy rain fell, but brought a cold. Fungi like warm short-term rain. And I also:)
So it is not surprising that I did not pick mushrooms. Well, it's good that I took a smartphone and took a few shots of forest landscapes.
Люблю ліс! Люблю збирати гриби. Але цього літа погода зовсім не підходяща для росту грибів. Спочатку у нас була спека і посуха. Всюди падав дощ, але чомусь оминав наш район. Згодом випав рясний дощ, але приніс похолодання. Грибочки люблять теплий короткочасний дощ. І я теж:)
Тому не дивно, що грибів я не назбирала. Що ж, добре що прихопила зі собою смартфон і зробила кілька кадрів лісових пейзажів.
Here are some russula. I didn't want to collect them, I was looking for cooler mushrooms:) Next to the russulas is a small white ball. Probably this is Lycoperdon perlatum. It was interesting to read that this is an edible mushroom. But it can be eaten while the flesh is young and white.
Ось кілька сироїжок. Мені не хотілося їх збирати, я шукала крутіші гриби:) Поряд зі сироїжками якась маленька біла кулька, мабуть це порхавка, яка офіційно зветься Дощовик їстівний.
And here is a glade, generously dotted with large white mushrooms of ridiculous shape. Unfortunately, I know the names of only edible mushrooms. And here nobody collects these ones. With the help of a Google lens, I learned that it's a mushroom of the genus Lactarius. The species is difficult to determine. It is either Lactarius piperatus or Lactarius vellereus. These are conditionally edible mushrooms but not very high quality.
А ось галявина, щедро всіяна великими білими грибами смішної форми. На жаль я знаю назви лише їстівних грибів. А ці у нас ніхто не збирає. З допомогою Гугл об'єктива я дізналася, що це хрящ-молочник. Проте з видом я вагаюсь: швидше за все це хрящ-молочник повстистий.
And this is apparently Lycogala epidendrum. We call it "wolf milk". After all, when you break a young mushroom, you see a "milk". What a beautiful color these mushrooms have!
Finally, I went to the clearer part of the forest, where thay recently cut down. My attention was drawn to the mushrooms on the trees. How bizarre they are, like copies of some planets or other cosmic bodies. This is probably a Fomes fomentarius - a parasitic fungus that lives on deciduous trees and feeds on their sap. It promotes the appearance of white rot inside the trunk. Such a tree is gradually dies. However, often these fungi grow on already diseased or semi-dry trees, ie are a kind of forest rangers. These two beeches, on which I saw mushrooms, are already completely dry.
Нарешті я вийшла у яснішу частину лісу, тут недавно проводили вирубку. Мою увагу привернули гриби на деревах. Які вони химерні, ніби копії якихось планет чи інших космічних тіл. Це мабуть трутовик справжній - гриб паразит, що живе на листяних деревах і живиться їх соками. Він сприяє появі білої гнилі усередині в стовбурі. Таке дерево остаблене і поступово гине. Проте часто ці гриби розвиваються на вже хворих або напівсухих дерева, тобто є своєрідними санітарами лісу. Оці два буки, на яких я побачила гриби, вже повністю сухі.
