Fungi Friday - Summer UFOs

I missed #fungifriday by @ewkaw yesterday, had too many deadlines to meet at work. So here's a day late post.

First we start of with some UFOs. These kind of remind me of honey mushrooms but I've never seen them grow around here.

Here is a bolete of some sort.

I thought it might be red cracked bolete but now that I look at the stem color and pores I'm not so sure. Just another unidentified summer bolete.

Here is another strange bolete with an almost brick red cap.

Yet another bolete but this one is definitely too old to identify. Poor thing is dehydrating into an abomination.

This one I do know, meadow mushroom. Sadly this was growing in fertilized mulch and there was only one so I definitely did not take it home to eat it.

Here's a really weird looking one. I have no clue as to what it could even be. The gills are huge and it is all misshapen.

This last one is also a mystery to me though I believe @tych021 may have identified it in an earlier post as Coltricia cinnamomea.

More soon.. the summer has been rainy this year hopefully new ones will be out on my next foray.
