Hello fungi lovers, again another week contributing my latest find, in one of my recent outings in search of mushrooms.
Walking through the forest I managed to find this species of mushroom called Inocybe rimosa, although it was already somewhat mistreated because it had been days old, you can still appreciate the beauty of its hat and its ocher colors.
From what I managed to investigate it is venomous since it contains muscarine, they emerge in any type of terrain as long as it is humid, you can find them grouped or alone and they do not usually grow at the foot of the trees.
They are small and have a fleshy appearance, their hat is conical or convex that with the passing of the days flattens out, their plates are greenish and with the days they acquire a dark hue, they have a whitish foot that just like the hat changes of color over time, it is cylindrical and its base is thick, this mushroom has a rather unpleasant smell.
They come to emerge in summer and autumn, as I said before in any terrain, which makes them somewhat dangerous since they usually grow in parks, gardens, fields or on the road, it has a very striking appearance but gives off a very unpleasant smell.
It is a toxic fungus, it contains muscarine, which is a toxin that acts on the nervous system, it is rarely fatal but it is careful since it can cause hypotension and bradycardia; This mushroom is confused with other species that share some of its physical characteristics, it is a bit difficult to accurately identify them, I help myself with Google lenses to learn a little about my findings.
