In search of mushrooms - Hydnellum aurantiacum

Hello mushroom lovers, after a few weeks without publishing and taking advantage of the fact that the mushroom season has already started here, I am going to share with you my latest findings when going out in search of mushrooms.

On this occasion I found this mushroom called hydnellum aurantiacum, which if my memory serves me correctly, I had not had the opportunity to photograph it until now, I decided to put this image as a cover since it has a leaf on top and thus its size is better appreciated.

Now let's talk about this mushroom, almost spherical hat on some occasions and presents irregularities, it can measure about six centimeters, I could barely see its foot, at most it would be one centimeter, red color at the time of the meeting, although it may vary depending on the growth phase you are in at the moment.

It usually grows in coniferous forests, in very numerous groups, they are easy to see and identify by their shape and color, it stands out a lot among the foliage, I found it yesterday, Thursday, October 21, after having seen some mushrooms in day before while walking with my dog.

I have no knowledge that it can be eaten, if someone cooked it or if it is edible please leave your comment explaining your experience, I can only say that its smell is mild and does not smell bad.
