If anyone reads this news, at least once a month, then I hereby regret to inform you that @ewkaw, @qurator / @curangel / @tipu / #monomad curator and host of the #fungifriday - has resigned as a moderator, due to personal disagreements between us about what is good and what is bad. I was not given the certain information, but I am confident she remains a mushroom lover and assume she will continue to support the said challenge (probably not within this community).

You are welcome to delegate part of what you earn here, to grow together better.
As you may know from previous posts, FL is a part of @OCD community incubation program. In brief, it means @OCD encourages hiveans to post to dedicated communities by giving back nice upvotes for great posts.
Authors social activity is also an important aspect for OCD curation. We don't want to reward those who take it for granted and don't give back to community and appreciate what they get by engaging with both their own posts and others (short 'thanky' messages or dumb smiley shit doesnt count).
If you come here to earn crypto - ok, good for you! its a cozy place to share the stuff. You also will be getting upvotes from FL community account. But if you dont engage with others, preferring to milk it up and give nothing back... Well, dont ask yourself or mods then, why your posts bring so little.

@anzirpasai brought some marvelous Reishi mushrooms macro shots. The global reishi mushroom market was valued at $3,097 million in 2019, and is projected to reach $5,060 million by 2027, which is amazing! I wish someone would shape an observe post about all spheres of application of this amazing "mushroom of immortality". It has played an important role as a medicinal mushroom in Chinese and Japanese culture for at least 2000 years, did you know that?
A little post by @arhat educates us about a very edible and very tasty (delicious!) umbrella fungus. Macrolepiota procera is the name.
@sumaiya777 made some very enjoyable macro captures of a nameless fungi.. I couldnt resist the temptation to use it to design the current #22 FL digest cover.
@yetaras presented us his tropheis from Ukrainian forest: Porcini, britlegills, magic chantarelles. Successfull hunt!
Know your enemy! ...and know your friends as well. @lilideleopolis brought in some nice captures of Amanita rubescens, a conditionally edible mushroom, that knowledgeable mushroom pickers consider it to taste very good, and love it because it appears already at the beginning of summer. Looks like a scary toxic toadstool, but its not!
@marianomariano educated us about Greenish fly agaric (Amanita phalloides) - deadly toxic mushroom (death after 20 grams! do know your enemy...)

@uliana61 shared a nice collection of edible fungi -- enjoy her tropheys from the Ukrainian forest.
@sketch.and.jam was a day late for #FungiFriday, but brought in a very enjoyable stuff: chicken of the woods, slime mold, and more - check for yourself, if you did not yet.
