Mushroom season

It has been raining a lot the last couple of weeks. The forest floor is wet and the earth still a bit warm from the past summer. Ideal condidtions for fungi.
And indeed, on my frequent walks I spot a lot of fungi like this group of small mushrooms.

It's so funny how these little mushrooms clutter together like one big family.
I used my Obsidentify app again to find out it's the Coprinellus truncorum. The English Wiki page doesn't mention a more common name. In Dutch it's called the Regular shiny inkt fungus.

I've also used my macro extension rings to take a shot up close. Very interesting to see it's structure.

A bit further on I spotted even more mushrooms. They look a bit different, but my app tell me they are the same.

These mushrooms curl up over time. I took this shot from above. At first I didn't even notice the small fly sitting on the cap of the mushroom 😀
