Buchen-Schleimrübling ■ Porcelain fungus
Mucidula mucida
Die Hauptsaison der Speisepilze ist weitgehend vorüber. Das bedeutet allerdings nicht, dass es keine Pilze mehr gibt. Ein besonderes Motiv ist jedes Jahr der ungenießbare Buchen-Schleimrübling. Wenn die Sonne scheint, beginnt der Hut im Licht zu leuchten. Eine entsprechende Aufnahme hatte im vergangenen Jahr bereits gezeigt. An diesem Tag hatte sich die Sonne hinter den Wolken versteckt. Mein erstes Bild zeigt eine klassische Makroaufnahme von der Unterseite.
The main season for edible mushrooms is largely over. This does not mean, however, that there are no more mushrooms. A special motif every year is the inedible beech slime carrot. When the sun shines, the hat starts to glow in the light. A corresponding photograph had already shown last year. On this day the sun had hidden behind the clouds. My first picture shows a classic macro shot from the bottom side.

Das Ergebnis schien mir nicht besonders interessant, so habe ich die Kamera gewechselt und mit einem Weitwinkelobjektiv fotografiert.
The result didn't seem very interesting to me, so I changed the camera and took pictures with a wide angle lens.

Für einen Buchen-Schleimrübling war der Pilz relativ groß gewachsen und in perfektem Zustand. Um den eingeschränkten Blickwinkel meiner zuvor gezeigten Makroaufnahme zu erweitern, habe ich meine Kamera direkt unter dem Hut positioniert.
For a porcelain fungus, the mushroom was relatively large and in perfect condition. To extend the limited angle of view of my previously shown macro shot, I positioned my camera directly under the hat.

Mein Ziel war es, den Pilz und sein Umfeld auf einem Foto zu vereinen. Hierzu war eine Weitwinkelaufnahme eine für mich perfekte Wahl. Das nächste Bild zeigt den Pilz mit dem Himmel exakt so, wie ich ihn fotografiert habe. Die Entwicklung des Bildes beschränkt sich auf die Anpassung von Schatten, Lichtern und dem Kontrast in Lightroom.
My aim was to bring together the mushroom and its environment in one photograph. For this purpose, a wide-angle photograph was a perfect choice for me. The next picture shows the mushroom with the sky exactly as I photographed it. The development of the image is limited to the adjustment of shadows, highlights and contrast in Lightroom.

Mein nachfolgendes Bild ist identisch mit dem Obigen. Allerdings habe ich es in Photoshop exportiert und mit der neuen Funktion "Himmel austauschen" gearbeitet. Es ist schon erstaunlich, wie gut die künstliche Intelligenz dieser Funktion voll automatisch funktioniert. Eines muss bei all der fortschreitenden Technik auch klar sein, das menschliche Auge kann noch nicht ersetzt werden. So entscheidet immer noch der Mensch über die Bildgestaltung.
My following picture is identical with the one above. But I exported it into Photoshop and worked with the new function "replace sky". It is amazing how well the artificial intelligence of this function works fully automatically. One thing must be clear with all the advancing technology, the human eye cannot be replaced yet. So it is still the human being who decides on the composition of a picture.
