Happy Friday to #fungfriday friends and this is the first Sunday contest in the FL community this June.

This morning I went back to hunting for wild mushrooms around the oil palm plantation which is close to the rice fields and also not far from where I live.

I really hope to get some photography of mushrooms that might be growing around the plantation area and the sunny morning weather makes me excited to hunt mushrooms around the garden and the area of this oil palm plantation is not very wide, in the middle of the plantation I found a bunch of wild mushrooms growing around the roots of the wood that almost died..

To increase my knowledge about wild mushrooms that grow around us, I did a Google search about this type of mushroom and it turned out to be a type of fungus...
Paxillus involutus (or Brown Roll-rim or Poison Pax) is a widespread species of ectomycorrhizal fungus, found under various trees, and forming close relationships with tree roots of various species[1]. Paxillus involutus has a characteristic in its lamellae (Gills), namely the fungus is brown when the lamellae are damaged, the lamellae are separated from the fungus Paxillus involutus[2], have brownish spores, and are poisonous[3].source

After I took some pictures of the Paxillus involutus mushroom, then I continued around the area and I didn't find any other mushrooms growing around the garden.

then, I decided to go back home by the path, on the way home I saw some small mushrooms on the firewood posts next to my friend's house and these mushrooms look so small and that is a type of mushroom ..
Schizophyllum commune is a species of fungus in the genus Schizophyllum. The mushroom resembles undulating waves of tightly packed corals or loose Chinese fan. "Gillies" or "split gills" vary from creamy yellow to pale white in colour. The cap is small, 1–4.5 cm wide with a dense yet spongey body texture.source

Since I left my smartphone macrophotography lens kit at home, I finally decided to take some mushroom shots using the smartphone camera..
