I Want to Research Mushrooms, Not Steal Ornamental Flowers in the Park

You know, so many mushrooms have grown lately, I've forgotten my habit of looking for insects. But I thought, since it's the rainy season right now, it's a golden opportunity to find more mushrooms.

Even in the corners of city parks, you can easily find them. As I just found this morning in a city park where I live. I saw a lot of mushrooms growing in the grass.

I think these mushrooms are known as the false parasol or Chlorophyllum molybdites species. Soft white cap, some cream, and some brownish violet. The stem has a ring.

There is a funny story behind these mushroom finds. When I was squatting to take photos, suddenly I was greeted by a janitor. He asked me what I was doing, and I had to lie and say that I was doing research for my thesis. "I almost thought you were a flower thief in the park. Ok, carry on!" He said with a smile.
