The LooLoo Community
For those who's native language is not British English, loo is a British slang for toilet. Instead of calling ourselves the Toilet Community which would be too obvious and soooo boring, LooLoo sounds much more fun. Hive would be so boring if we didn't inject more fun into it.
WHAT CAN YOU POST ABOUT?
As it's name implies, the LooLoo Community is where you can post everything that's toilet related - except for shit!! We want this to be a fun community but we also want to maintain its quality. Here are a few ideas about what you can post in the LooLoo Community
The Toilet
- your toilet at home or work
- toilets at restaurants or public places
- unusual looking toilets
- toilets at unusual places
Design and build
- toilet designs, colour scheme and decor
- toilet and toilet door signs
- building or fixing a toilet
- the anatomy or engineering of a toilet
- bidets and washers
Facilities and accessories
- toilet accessories eg seats, seat covers, brush
- anything related to toilet paper like holders, storage or the actual toilet paper itself
- disabled toilet facilities
- baby changing facilities in a toilet
- pet related toilet things
Humanity
- social issues about inadequate toilet and sanitation facilities
- the toilet culture in your country
- the history of toilets
- scientific or medicinal discussion over poo or pee
- interesting toilet facts, don't just lift it off the internet, add your own insight and comment
Personal
- what (else) do you do during your LooLoo me time
- tips on keeping your toilet fresh and clean
- how to make your toilet 'less toilet'
- unusual things you store in your toilet
- the best thing you like about a toilet
- your favourite toilet related book/art/TV/film/music

COMMUNITY RULES
This list isn't exhaustive, it's just to give you some ideas. You can post anything that's toilet related as long as it's decent. Just use common sense. However, we do have some rules that we'd like you to respect. They are pretty simple
- original content only, if you use photos that don't belong to you, you must quote the source
- no recycled content
- please be careful when taking photos inside public toilets. Avoid capturing people you don't know, particularly if they're doing their business. As much as we love Hive, it's not worth getting into trouble over a Hive post
- you can post in dual language but one of them must be English
- keep your post fun but decent, no shit content please - literally and content wise!!!
KICKING THINGS OFF AND SUPPORT
To kick things off, I'd like to start with a SHOW ME YOUR LOO initiative.
What better way to join the LooLoo Community than to show us your toilet and share a bit about you and your private life. Treat it as your self introduction to the community. Hive is a diverse community and its always nice to learn more about the life of people from other parts of the world.
This community has no whale support (yet) but like all quality Hive communities, good content will always be picked up by curators. If this community grows, with your help, I'm confident it will get more support in the long run.
