Siempre los cuidare. // I will always take care of them.

Hello mothers, aunts, sisters and all women with maternal love, when you have children, it is the duty of mothers to take care of them always, since they are born, even after they grow up, when they become independent and make their lives.

The work of a mother never rests, she may rest for a while, but she never rests, always taking care of her children.

I am a mother who is very aware of my children, but I am not overprotective either, they have fallen, they have scraped their knees, it is part of life.

As a child I was in the care of many adults, then as a teenager I learned to unveil myself in many things like going alone to school, running errands that they sent me and everything well, because they were other times, where there was not so much insecurity, which is the main cause that nowadays, makes me be more aware of my children.

I remember that when my oldest daughter @nayita238 entered high school I was terrified that she had to learn to take public transportation, but in that first year I got her transportation and with some stumbles and changing one and another, that's how she finished the school year.

For the second school year, if he took the bus, I accompanied him very dark in the morning at about 5 in the morning armed with a bat seriously, to the bus stop and wait for him to leave, we always kept in touch, when he arrived at the school he told me, and I was calm, the same at noon that until he did not arrive I was not calm, when he arrived I breathed and thanked GOD.

With the boy it was the same when my daughter was leaving, I would return home and then take my son to his school, even though he was still in elementary school. But for me the care has been the same for both or maybe for him it has been more of care because of his condition, the school was close, I took him in the mornings and went to pick him up at noon, I had that advantage since I was retired from my job as a teacher, so I had time for them.

Once my brother told me; "leave that girl alone", I told him: "it happens to be my daughter, it hurts me if something happens to her". If there was a time that my daughter with her cousin and some companions at the stop something lonely for the hour, she calls me that scared me: "mom they robbed us at the stop they took my cell phone, we went back to school to call you", tell me that and leave the house were two things, then that's why I said, that until I got home I was not calm.

Because before the pandemic, in my country we already had many problems and shortages such as transportation, which was one of the reasons why my daughter arrived home late.

When my son went to first grade, things were smoother, they both studied at the same high school, they were accompanied, but I still accompanied them to the bus stop, when I saw them leaving on the bus, I went back home to my work, if I had to leave I did it at once with them, they stayed at their high school and I did what I was going to do.

Whenever I could, I would always give them their turns at school, sometimes I would wait for them to come together, my children had a lot of work to do at the time of departure, they had to walk a long way to a stop where there was more possibility of catching the bus, Then they stayed at the Sierva stop and from there they had to walk again for 10 or more blocks to get to the other stop, to catch a line to get home, that made my heart ache, so I would go with them and go through everything together because I have taught them that there are three of us and always three for whatever comes out.

Before the pandemic, I accompanied my daughter to the bus stop where she took the bus to go to the laboratory where she did her internships. When she left on the bus, I went with my son to the high school, who asked to change closer and so it was.

Now my daughter is more confident, she already knows about transportation routes, she already goes out alone and I always tell her that when she gets to where she arrives she should call me or write me saying "Mommy has arrived", so I am calm, especially when she spends the weekend at her friends' house.

When she goes to parties if I know they are going to bring her at dawn I wait for her watching TV, if they are going to stay I wait for her at 7 o'clock so I sleep, but one eye closed and one eye open ha ha.

My degree of security for my children is due to the insecurity that exists in the country, as well as the fact that we must know our children's friends, parents, where they live, cell phones, almost everything.

In all the years that my children have been in school since elementary school, I have seen the children arrive alone, the mothers at home, and at the high school I could see that the way the children arrived at school, the parents certainly did not see them as they left their homes.

With my daughter there is a nice communication of her telling me everything, something that I am very grateful for because besides being her mother, I am her BEST FRIEND.

Just like my mom, her children are already formed with their own homes, she is aware of how we are doing, if we have food, I will see myself in the future with my children. That is why I say "The work of a mother never ends", although there are mothers who unfortunately are not like that.
