Desde que me convertí en madre mi prioridad número UNO siempre ha sido el bienestar de mis hijos, que ellos estén bien y que no les falte nada. Este viaje familiar como mamá para mí fue el primero: ¿Por qué? Porque tuvimos la oportunidad de ir solo nosotros: mamá, papá e hijos por primera vez.
Así que me tocaria organizar la logística a mi sola, todo dependeria de mi. Es por esto, que desde que me enteré que nos iríamos (como dos días antes), decidi organizarme y anotar todo para que no se me quedara nada...
Cuando uno viaja con niños debemos estar preparados para todo, desde la comida, medicinas, ropa adecuada para el viaje, algún juego para distraerse, su almohada preferida, hasta los snacks entre otras cosas... Primero, porque los niños son impredecibles, siempre tienen hambre o se pueden sentir mal, y yo entiendo que todo esto es normal, porque son niños pequeños.
Entonces como yo no tenía experiencia en viajes largos y solo nosotros, lo primero que hice fue pensar en mi mamá 🤣 si, señores; ella siempre iba preparada a dónde fuera. Así que pensé en lo que ella nos llevaba a nosotras y parti de ahí: Hice una lista en mi block de notas del teléfono y fui anotando todo por partes:
✅ Aseo personal
✅ Ropa
✅ Medicamento
✅ Comida
✅ Extras
Tener estás anotaciones me ayudaria a no olvidar nada y al momento de hacer maletas y organizarme sería un poco más rápido; así fue.. Con ayuda de mi lista, prepare todo lo de aseo personal, cepillos dentales, crema dental 🪥 desodorante, protector solar, champú, jabón, crema corporal, entre otras cosas. Arregle el bolso dónde llevariamos la ropa de todos, traje de baño, bermudas, franelas, ropa interior, toallas, pijamas.
También me lleve medicinas para fiebre, alergias, algodón, alcohol y medicamentos para los vomitos, ya que no sabía si los niños mareaban... Compramos lo pendiente, pan, jamón, queso, refresco, jugos y chucherías, quise llevarme los sandwich listos con mantequilla, jamón y queso, para desayunar sabía que nos tocaria comer en el carro vía a la playa, eso también nos funcionaria para picar cuando tuviéramos hambre. Crei importante también llegar agua filtrada, porque estar expuestos al sol da mucha sed, preferi llevarla desde casa.
Con todas las cosas listas estaba preparada para salir con mis niños, en nuestro viaje nos fue super bien, los niños disfrutaron, todo lo que lleve me funcionó y hasta me quedaron chucherías, jugo y algunos sandwiches. Les puedo decir con toda confianza que tenía miedo de olvidar algo que fuera muy importante o necesario 🤣 Pero confíe en mí y mis instintos y como les dije anteriormente me fue super bien...
Ser madre es una labor de 24/7 los 365 días del año, nosotras debemos estar en todo y sabemos cuales son las necesidades o requerimientos de nuestra familia... Sobrevivi con éxito a nuestro primer viaje familiar, no puedo esperar al próximo...

When traveling with children we must be prepared for everything, from food, medicine, appropriate clothing for the trip, a game to distract them, their favorite pillow, to snacks among other things ... First, because children are unpredictable, they are always hungry or may feel sick, and I understand that all this is normal, because they are small children.
So since I had no experience in long trips and just us, the first thing I did was to think about my mom 🤣 yes, gentlemen; she always went prepared wherever she went. So I thought about what she was taking us and went from there: I made a list on my phone notepad and wrote everything down in parts:
✅ Personal grooming.
✅ Clothes
✅ Medication
✅ Food
✅ Extras
Having these notes would help me not to forget anything and at the time of packing and organizing would be a little faster; so it was.... With the help of my list, I prepared all the toiletries, toothbrushes, toothpaste 🪥 deodorant, sunscreen, shampoo, soap, body lotion, among other things. Arrange the bag where we would carry everyone's clothes, bathing suit, shorts, flannels, underwear, towels, pajamas.
I also took medicine for fever, allergies, cotton, alcohol and medicine for vomiting, because I didn't know if the children would get dizzy.... We bought all the necessary things, bread, ham, cheese, soda, juices and sweets, I wanted to take the sandwiches ready with butter, ham and cheese for breakfast, I knew that we would have to eat in the car on the way to the beach, that would also work for snacks when we were hungry. I thought it was also important to bring filtered water, because being exposed to the sun makes us very thirsty, so I preferred to bring it from home.
With all the things ready I was ready to go out with my kids, our trip went super well, the kids enjoyed it, everything I brought worked and I even had some snacks, juice and some sandwiches. I can confidently tell you that I was afraid of forgetting something that was very important or necessary 🤣 But I trusted myself and my instincts and as I told you before it went super well.....
Being a mother is a 24/7 365 days a year job, we have to be in everything and we know what our family needs or requirements are.... I successfully survived our first family trip, I can't wait for the next one....
