Assembling the New Bike Bought for Dyn-Dyn| Carrying A Baby Is Not Easy Anymore.

Carrying a 10-kilo kid daily is no fun at all. Though we have a baby carrier that we had been using in the past when we are walking our arms and even hips started to feel pain.

My wife would be constantly saying that her lower back is hurting due to carrying our child from time to time and I agree with that!

I experience it too each time that when I and our kid will do our favorite bonding moment which is putting her to sleep I sing her some lullaby song and carry her and let her sleep on my shoulders. She was heavy! And there are times wherein I felt that my hands might fail me as I also experience mild carpal tunnel syndrome.

Because of that, my sister-in-law decided to buy a kiddie bike for Dyn-dyn. We had plans to buy such but since we are kinda short with the budget, we are saving a few monies for us to buy one in the future. I am thinking around October we will be buying one.

It was ordered last 08/08/2022 and we were able to get a free shipping voucher in Lazada the price was 1,500.00 PHP or around $30.00 USD it arrived yesterday afternoon and April and I discussed that we will try to assemble that last night only if Dyn-dyn will be sleeping early.

10:30 PM the baby's still wide awake, I had completed my on-call meetings in the office but still she is as energetic as she can be during the daytime so our mission failed.

Because we were not able to work it last night, Proty and Betbet decided to have it as their own fortress the box become their mattress and they slept soundly that night. We did not even bother with it anymore as it is expected already. We are just some boarders in this home and the cats are the true owners of the house.

When we opened the box, the first thing that we did is search for the manual on how to put this thing together. The product was from China, thus I am expecting at least an infographic on how to assemble it. Too bad there is none - no extra paper saying how to insert one screw to another the guide and the numbers of stuff. What we have is just the worn-out box together with the paraphernalia.

What we did is just compare the images from the seller's page and then try to put them in place to see if it does make sense. We spent, quite some time and we told ourselves that the images are not that helpful might as well check Youtube to see how it is assembled. Luckily there's one that is almost the same as ours ( except for the color difference) there's a slight discrepancy between both.

We had followed the instructions and now we are making a progress.

Proty and Betbet are monitoring the progress of the bike, they make sure that the product will be a quality one because they are planning to jump into the seat once it is completed. This is also where we realized that we need to secure some tools such as a wrench, hammer, long nose, and other tools. I have told April that I need some of those but I always forget to grab one each time that I will be visiting the market.

So after a few more minutes of trying to hammer some parts using an old wrench finally, it is all good and we are able to finish the project. There are some loose screws and parts that were not used because we do not know where they will fit. We just kept the parts for future use if we will be able to figure out where they should be.

Overall it was a fun experience assembling it, April did most of the work as I tried to make Dyn-Dyn sleep this morning.
