Playground Adventurer #6 - Monkey Bars

The playground is in the same general area as the other playgrounds. I believe this is for the oldest kids in this residential zone of playgrounds.

They have a pair of swingsets and there is a Koala holding up the bar, decoratively speaking. It took me a minute or two to figure out what exactly I was looking at. It doesn't look like a happy Koala. The swings were too big for a 3 year old.

A very unique and interesting teeter totter. It's suspended above the ground on a rod. It didn't work. The seats were basically fixed with maybe a little wobble, so it's probably just meant as decorative.

Brown slide and a tube slide on the playground. It was a nice length for the brown slide, but the tube was a little scarey.

There was a nice ramp up to the slides with rubber matting.

Has a big step at the beginning.

The playground had some heavy monkey bars that are easier on the hands than what I had growing up. Stainless steel rather than just iron that gets rougher over time. She was not able to go across them without me holding her up.

I probably won't go back to this playground. It was just too advanced for her and didn't have any simple manipulatables.
