Or on the contrary, it is me who takes me a long time working and the activities of one or the other are postponed because there is only one computer.
It has become uphill in this sense and the one who starts last, usually finishes his activities extremely late.
Es por eso que quiero contarles que desde hace unos meses (un poco después de que comenzó la pandemia), mi hijo y yo hemos trabajado bastante apretados en casa, porque tenemos solamente una PC y ya él está en una edad en que necesita hacer sus investigaciones escolares en el ordenador y a veces puede tardarse mucho. O por el contrario, soy yo quien me tardo mucho trabajando y las actividades de uno o del otro, son pospuestas porque hay un solo equipo.

Mi sorpresa fue que con ese dinero, solo podría aspirar a una laptop de muy baja gama.

Several days went by, during which my nephew told me that the price at which they were selling the laptop seemed too cheap and that this created distrust and suspicion in him. And he advised me to look for another laptop.
But I wanted this laptop. I was determined that it would be mine. Am I stubborn? Yes, a little bit... 🤷
Los vendedores me dijeron que formatearían la laptop para entregármela en su estado original. Lamentablemente durante el proceso, algo ocurrió y se dañó el sistema operativo de la laptop. En eso pasaron varios días, en los que mi sobrino me decía que le parecía demasiado económico el precio en que estaban vendiendo la laptop y que eso le creaba desconfianza, suspicacia. Y me aconsejaba que mejor buscase otra laptop.
Pero yo quería esta laptop. Estaba decidida que fuese mía. ¿Soy terca? Si, un poco... 🤷♂️

On Friday, May 6, I met with the lady and she gave me the laptop. I immediately gave it to my nephew to take it to the technician. The next day, the technician called him to tell him that he had made an excellent purchase, since what the laptop had was easier to solve and that in addition to that, the technical specifications of the machine I had bought were different from the ones in the publication; they were superior:
Luego comenzamos a comunicarnos vía WhatsApp y traté le ofrecí mi técnico en computadoras, para que le hiciera un presupuesto y que lo que derivase su revisión y posterior reparación, lo descontaríamos del precio original. Ella accedió.
El día viernes 6 de mayo, me encontré con la señora y me entregó la laptop. De inmediato se la di a mi sobrino para que la llevase al técnico. Al día siguiente, el técnico lo llamó para decirle que había hecho una excelente compra, ya que lo que tenía la laptop era más sencillo de resolver y que además de eso, las especificaciones técnicas de la máquina que yo había comprado, eran distintas de las que estaban en la publicación; que eran superiores:

Lo cierto es hice caso a mi instinto y gracias a eso, tengo una laptop muy muy muy pero muy buena, por un precio muy económico.
Definitivamente, visualizar lo que deseamos, es muy efectivo, así como el poder de la palabra: "Quiero esa laptop, ya es mía. Sé que todo va a salir bien".
