Hello friends and friends of the hive 🍪
As an experienced mother on the subject of autism, I want to present you some delicious and simple cookies with rice flour, to offer at Christmas to those little people who require a:
Free of gluten and casein, also without artificial colors or preservatives.
Of course, the time inspired me to present these Christmas cookies, which without color, still excite and cheer my youngest son because of their shapes: They are Christmas cookies!
In addition, how not to present this recipe and more when in Venezuela the options are exhausted by the well-known situation of the country, which is more than difficult, it is dark. On the other hand, moms always know how to deal with problems for their children and sure that this recipe will be very useful, I dedicate them to all those super moms of the 21st century. Regardless of whether or not they have children with the special condition, it is necessary to remind them that eating healthy is beneficial for everyone.
Explaining a little about autism and its diet, I answer some questions:
✔What's that gluten and casein stuff?
The gluten is a protein found mainly in wheat, in addition to other cereals such as barley, rye and oats. For this reason, rice and corn are a good option when it comes to cereals. Casein is a protein from animal milk, so soy milk among other alternatives, such as coconut milk, are the best options for food of the autistic.
✔Why and why the diet?
The reason to eliminate forbidden foods from the daily menu is that they produce an allergy but in the nervous system. These people do not have all the enzymes necessary to process all the nutrients of food, thus becoming toxins in the body that are responsible for bad mood, anxiety and other emotional disorders, which they provoke the so-called disruptive behaviors. For this reason, the best way to help them channel their emotions is with proper adherence to their special diet and exceptionally positive results will be obtained. Anger, sadness and exaggerated joys will be moderated, as well as concentration and cognitive improvements will be welcome.
