Hola queridos mamás y papás de esta comunidad tan especial. Es muy grato volver a escribir por aquí. En esta oportunidad les quiero hablar de un tema que preocupa mucho a los padres, es lo relacionado con el dinero y el regreso a las clases presenciales. No es para nada desconocido para nosotros que muchas personas se quedaron sin empleo cuando cuando comenzó la pandemia o durante la pandemia, muchos aún no nos hemos podido recuperar de esa difícil crisis que vivimos.
El regreso a clases para la mayoría de los niños y también para los padres es un motivo de alegría, el día de ayer aquí en nuestro país la mayoría de los niños comenzaron las clases, pero a algunos padres los pude observar con una mirada triste y de desamparo. Al observar bien la escena, pude notar en parte la causa probable de su tristeza. Algunos niños iban con su uniforme aunque bien lavados y planchados, les quedaban pequeños, las camisas apretadas algunas un poco decoloradas, zapatos que no iban de acuerdo con el uniforme y a dos niños los ví con los pantalones que le quedaban al menos cinco dedos más arriba de su tobillo.

This time I want to talk to you about a topic that worries parents a lot, it is related to money and the return to classes. It is not at all unknown to us that many people were unemployed when the pandemic began or during the pandemic, many of us still have not been able to recover from that difficult crisis we lived through.
The return to school for most children and also for parents is a reason for joy, yesterday here in our country most of the children started classes, but some parents I could observe with a sad and helpless look on their faces. When I observed the scene well, I could notice in part the probable cause of their sadness. Some of the children were in their uniforms, although well washed and ironed, but they were too small, their shirts were too tight, some were a little discolored, their shoes did not match their uniforms, and I saw two children with pants that were at least five fingers above their ankles.

Al observar eso, la tristeza de esos padres se me contagió a mí también, aunque mi niño está aún pequeño me comencé a imaginar lo que es tener que llevarlo a estudiar sin un uniforme adecuado o llevando sus cuadernos en la mano por no tener para comprar un bolso. Es fácil que la tristeza y la desesperanza se nos contagie.
Seguí caminando y pude ver una mamá con cuatro niños pequeños que iba cantando con ellos una canción contagiosa por el regreso a clases, de verdad no recuerdo cuál era la canción pero lo que si recuerdo era la alegría con la que los niños se unían a ella para cantar. Al observarlos mejor, noté que también llevaban sus cuadernos en las manos, su ropa estaba desgastada y la más pequeña de edad preescolar en lugar de zapatos llevaba unas sandalias.
Although my child is still small, I began to imagine what it is like to have to take him to school without a proper uniform or carrying his notebooks in my hand because I couldn't afford to buy a bag. It is easy for sadness and hopelessness to rub off on us.
I continued walking and I could see a mother with four small children who was singing with them an infectious song for the return to school, I really do not remember what the song was but what I do remember was the joy with which the children joined her to sing. As I observed them better, I noticed that they were also carrying their notebooks in their hands, their clothes were worn out and the youngest preschooler was wearing sandals instead of shoes.

Así que esa mamá tampoco tenía para comprarles las cosas a sus hijos, pero ella decidió contagiar a sus hijos con pensamientos positivos y soñar junto a ellos con un futuro mejor. Así como la tristeza puede ser contagiosa, la alegría y la actitud positiva también. Fue en ese momento que decidí que si me toca vivir lo que muchos padres, lo haré con la mejor actitud, mostrándole a mi hijo que ningún impedimento puede acabar con sus sueños y que esos sueños no necesariamente lo van a cargar en un buen morral, los pueden llevar en sus manos como lo más preciado que puedan tener y si algún día se le cansan por el peso, allí estaremos sus padres para ayudarlo a sostener.
La mayoría de las personas no tenemos la mejor situación económica o por lo menos no la que deseamos, pero para nuestros hijos somos un ejemplo, depende de nosotros como queremos que nos vean, la mayoría queremos que nos vean como unos guerreros que no se rinden, para que ellos también lleguen a ser unos campeones en su carrera por la vida.
So this mom didn't have the money to buy things for her children either, but she decided to infect her children with positive thoughts and dream together with them of a better future. Just as sadness can be contagious, so can joy and a positive attitude. It was at that moment that I decided that if I have to live what many parents do, I will do it with the best attitude, showing my son that no impediment can put an end to his dreams and that those dreams will not necessarily be carried in a good backpack, they can carry them in their hands as the most precious thing they can have and if someday they get tired because of the weight, his parents will be there to help him hold on to them.
Most people do not have the best economic situation or at least not the one we want, but for our children we are an example, it depends on us how we want them to see us, most of us want them to see us as warriors who do not give up, so that they also become champions in their race through life.
